Called to get my outdoor water feature/fountain fixed. Scott asked for a couple pics and Jeremiah was at the house 2 days later. Simply awesome and quick service from knowledgeable and personable staff. Very highly recommended.

Upon driving up looks like a small home- then enter into the back wow! So many fish to check out & aquatic plants. So many different types of Koi Selection-Awesome Price point--ok Personal---fantastic Madeline is fantastic, there's another younger guy there that is equally great. I'd recommend either one of them if you want knowledge about Koi. The experience with everyone was fantastic. Grandkids got to pick out their koi. Fantastic place to see types of koi & learn names.

The nice gent told me he goes to Japan and brings the Koi back. So how does Koi deal with jetlag? They didn't hop on the great Pacific current and swim their little hearts to America? Well they all look healthy and happy. The shop has a very nice set up for the Koi. Small Koi smaller than your hand to Koi the length of your forearm. They also have lily pads and flowers. The different water bins have different colored ones. Some all white, some spotted, some solid in color. If you're shopping for Koi. They got your fish friends here. Mel M Yelp 18:117

We just purchased a home in Ramona with a stocked koi pond. Unfortunately, our pond was hit by a haron and we lost several of our fish. We stumbled upon this place while trying to locate another koi fish store. I'm so happy we ended up here. We were blown away by the variety of koi and plants they carry. The lady who helped us went out of her way to guide us since we are new pond owners. She also gave us a great deal! We will most definitely be back. I only wish they service my area in Ramona.

We are from Hemet which is in the riverside county area. Came out for some aquatic plants and to check out the fish, no specific intent to get koi on this trip just plants. They had a large selection of koi in several tanks, rows of them (large and small). A variety of aquatic plants as well. I found one I really really liked, to me it was a very cool pattern. But I am new in this koi fish thing. I've been to various aquarium stores for fresh water and for salt over the years. This is the first store I've been to dedicated to pond stuff but so far I am definitely planning to return for fish / plant needs. They had some product inside (food, solutions, some filters, nets).

    The crystal clear pond.

When you step inside, you are surrounded by all kinds of healthy natural treats, a wide array of dog food choices, and cute apparel for your pups! What really blew me away was how responsive Rob the groomer was. He met with me, discussed grooming options, and was transparent about pricing, which was super fair. When it came time to bring in my girls, he did an incredible job washing them, cutting their nails, brushing their teeth, and giving my labradoodle the exact cut I had wanted for her. I was impressed by Rob's friendliness and expertise. Jazzed by his amazing work, I set up a second grooming appointment. I knew I had to do it in advance, because Rob can get pretty booked up! About a week before bringing my pups in, my labradoodle had terrible diarrhea and made a mess of herself (and my place). I reached out to Rob, and he told me was totally inundated with appointments, but would fit her in just to bathe her. Later that day, I dropped off my very dirty and soiled labradoodle. When I came to pick her up, she was a vision! She was sparkly white and looked like she had a Brazilian blowout! The amount of compassion and level of attention he still managed to give her on a very crazy day brought tears to my eyes. Today was both my pups' appointment day. I got to meet the owner Andrew, and he is super engaging and passionate about his space. I was again completely dazzled by how clean and well cared for my dogs were. I am grateful to Andrew, Rob, and this place of business for being so fantastic! It is no wonder Top Dog was suggested repeatedly to me, and now I highly recommend them, too!

This was an unacceptable grooming experience, and I would not trust this business with my dog…read moreagain. I was overcharged for the service. More seriously, one of my dog's nails was ground down far enough that it bled. No one disclosed the bleeding to me at pickup, explained what had happened, or provided any aftercare instructions. I discovered the problem myself, documented it, and sent photographs to the groomer. Only then was I told that it was "just a small nail bleed" that "can happen with grinding from time to time" and that I should keep my dog off rough surfaces for two days. That response is deeply troubling. If my dog's paw required two days of activity restrictions after the service, then this was clearly something I should have been told before leaving. Instead, I had to discover it myself and seek an explanation afterward. Calling it "just" a small bleed does not excuse failing to disclose it. The rest of the service only added to my concerns. Some of her nails appeared not to have been trimmed at all, and her ears were left wet and did not appear to have been properly cleaned or dried. Combined with the overcharge, this was not simply one isolated issue. It was a serious failure in the quality of the service, communication, and basic professional accountability. Pet owners hand groomers animals who cannot tell us what happened while they were in someone else's care. That makes transparency non-negotiable. If a dog bleeds during grooming, the owner should not have to discover it later, send photographic evidence, and then be given aftercare instructions that should have been provided at pickup. What concerns me most is not only what happened to my dog's nail, but how it was handled afterward: no disclosure, no explanation until I confronted them with photos, and then an attempt to minimize what happened. Between the overcharge, the incomplete grooming, my dog leaving with a bleeding nail, and the complete lack of transparency afterward, I have no confidence in this business. I would not return, and I would not recommend entrusting a pet to a groomer who handles an animal and the owner's legitimate concerns this way.

***Updated in response to the owner's reply:…read more The owner's response reinforces our concern about how this business handles customer issues. We are extremely disappointed by our most recent grooming experience at Cali Pets. We had used this business twice before and previously had positive experiences grooming our two wooly-coated huskies, which is why this outcome was so upsetting. Our dogs have long, thick coats that can mat quickly during seasonal changes, especially in spring. Our male husky, Arkin, is particularly prone to matting around the belly and sides. Because of this, we sometimes trim down problem areas at home before bringing him in, with the goal of preventing larger sections of the coat from becoming impacted while still preserving as much of his fur as possible. That is also what we expected from a professional grooming visit: help managing difficult areas while saving as much coat as reasonably possible. Before this appointment, we had already trimmed much of the fur on his belly and sides, while most of his back remained intact. When we picked him up, we were shocked to find that he had been shaved down almost entirely, including areas that we did not believe required that level of removal. In our view, this was an unnecessarily extreme result, especially in April and especially for a senior dog. Equally concerning was the lack of communication throughout the appointment. Both of our dogs were scheduled that morning. After waiting about 30 minutes, we were told our male dog would need to come back later. We adjusted our day and returned him at approximately 2:30 pm. Around 3:45 pm, we were told he would take longer than expected and would miss the originally quoted pickup window of 4:30-5:00 pm. After that, we did not receive a proper update. The shop closed at 5:30 pm, our calls later went to voicemail, and by after 6:30 pm we were concerned enough that we drove there ourselves to make sure everything was okay. When we arrived, we were told the staff had taken a break and were still finishing up. When we finally saw our dog, the result was far more severe than anything we had expected or would have agreed to had it been clearly explained in advance. We also disagree with several points in the owner's public response. In particular, it is not accurate to say service was refused. Both dogs were scheduled, and we were instructed to bring our male dog back later due to how the appointment was being handled. We also do not agree that this exact outcome was the only possible option. For reference, the three photos we included were posted to show context. One shows our pup before his appointment to give a sense of the length of his coat even when cut down significantly already. Another shows the result after this grooming visit. The third shows an example from a prior at-home trim, included to demonstrate that in the past we have been able to cut down problem areas while still preserving substantial fur rather than taking nearly the entire body down to the skin. That comparison is exactly why this result was so upsetting to us. If such an extreme shave was truly the only humane option, that should have been communicated clearly and directly beforehand. Had that been explained to us in plain terms, we would have declined and made a different decision for our dog. We are sharing our experience so other pet owners can make an informed decision. We have included before-and-after photos, as well as examples of prior trims done at home for comparison.
