I live in an older home, so I was a little nervous about having PoE cables run throughout the house, but the team did an amazing job. The quote was then way more than what we were expecting so we didn't move forward with the work. We were then told they had a $75 cancellation fee - something we were never told over the phone. I've never had this happen before. Even with our other handyman, plumbers, etc. - if you can't do the work, you don't get paid for NOT doing the work. We were told that this would cover gas expenses - why take a job that is out of your network? They knew our address well before coming out. Also, some of our intake conversations were over text, so I wish we discussed the job over photos so they knew what we wanted to do in terms of the job and give us a proper quote. Just felt very scammy and weird after them asking for money without starting the job.
