Dr. Teresa Nguyen is very kind and gives great treatment. My teeth have been well maintained since coming here. She is patient and always accurately answers my questions and options. She is so transparent with all options. She also gets things done quickly. Ive been having jaw pain for a while, and every doctor never addressed it but Dr. Teresa got me a special xray right away in office. Years of pain, and only when I went to Dr. Teresa did I finally know that I have TMJ. She and her team works to accommodate my schedule so I can get treated quicker. My family of 5 have been attending this dentist for almost 17 years. I grew up at this dentist and with the original staff. Their previous dental hygienist, Sandra, I believe just left who had been with the company as along as I have been going there. Truly amazing and why we returned for many many years. The new staff their is beyond horrendous. Starting with the person in the front. Extremely unprofessional and rude over the phone. After sending her ALL my information on my insurance I received multiple calls from the receptionist saying she was unable to find my insurance since I only have medical. After letting her know that is not true and sending her ALL my paperwork of my dental insurance including my medical I.D card with the plan information I still kept getting the same response. I contacted my job and the insurance company all stating my insurance is active and there should be no reason why they could not find it. We'll time comes for my appointment, I show up and my basic information is asked I get told my appointment was canceled. I had been waiting for a week for this appointment. With no warning whatsoever ever. Of course it is the same person who has been "helping me" all along. She said she had told me this in my previous call she gave me. At this point I'm feed up with the rudeness and unprofessionalism that I'm literally like why are you lying!?!? Never mentioned to me my appointment was getting canceled. At this point I hate to break the relationship I have develop with the dentist for almost 17 years but no way will I return to deal with this rudeness and unprofessionalism. I have not been the only one in my family who has dealt with this person either. And we are pretty much on the the same page about her.This person should be let go before they lose more patients. * update: I called another location and they where with 1 minute over the phone able to confirm my insurance without a problem!!!!!!**** So again. Well, you get what you pay for. Royal Dental cuts corners. Routine cleaning, the polishing took twenty seconds because she barely brushed over the teeth. A proper polish is supposed to take several minutes if done correctly. They half-a**ed flossed my teeth, didn't go underneath my permanent retainer. Not a fan. Will not be going back. read more

I am an uninsured person and when I received a flyer in the mail for a $75 cleaning/xray cash patient special, I attempted to call and book an appt. ASAP (during business hours). All I got was a machine; where I left my home phone number very clearly saying I wanted to book the special on the ad. NEVER got a call back to book an appt. I phoned again 1 week later and got their recording yet again...during business hours. Just due to poor customer service, I am no longer interested in seeing this dentist. The dentist is fine but her office staff is bad enough to take me elsewhere. The male office person is barely understandable and can't understand plain English, he speak Vietnamese. I have no problem with people with accents but if they can't understand me and vice versa..MAYBE scheduling people and speaking on the phone isn't the job for you. The other girls in the front office are rude and argumentative and 3 times I've been scheduled and then told I didn't have an appointment at that time. Let me start off by saying my first experience at this place was good, I was able to make an appointment right away, and I was greeted and attended on time. I made the appointment because I wanted a dental cleaning after 2 yrs. of not going to the dentist. Ok, found out I had two cavities, ok cool, made an appointment for them another day to get them filled and done so I wouldn't have to worry about them later. Came in for one, the dentist took her time on me making sure it was done correctly. Great, one done, one more to go. This is where my two stars come in, for my third appointment, I had scheduled it at 3:00PM, I requested the day off work and everything. Came in, sat down, waited, she was busier than usual today. She was finishing up a customer inside, then this guy came in at 3:15PM his appointment was at 3:30PM, keep this in mind. I heard him say it to the receptionist. Ok so I have been waiting 30 minutes, mind you, its supposed to be my turn after she is done. To my surprise, she takes him in first even though my appointment was scheduled at 3:00PM! Oh my god, because he's been a client longer than me, and I'm new to the office she takes him in first. OH wow, that made me angry guys, really angry. The receptionist even gave me a look of shame. The dentist is still working on this guy right, because he's asking about everything that is wrong, and telling her his life story. She's not done w.the guy but I get seated inside at 4:30PM yup. An hour later, I wait, they numb the area on the side they are going to fill. Then, they go back to work on him, what in the world?! They are juggling me and this guy at the same time. They numb my mouth for the filling, then go back to work on his root canal. I wait with this numbness inside my mouth until it starts to make my saliva form into a whole lot of spit, I have to spit it out, since no one is there with that tube that sucks it out...I walk to the bathtoom to spit it out, and come back to my chair. The numbness at this point is starting to go away because I've been waiting there sooooo long. They finish his root canal. At this point I'm so close to just walking out as I'm about to get up, they come and ask if I'm ready...I've been ready, since 3PM. I sit back down and they begin my filling but the whole time I'm like thinking, "Why are they doing it so fast?" Oh yeah, you have other people waiting... Basically they rushed my filling, and now 5 months later I'm having a whole lot of issues with my bite. Both fillings feel sensative when I eat now, and I don't feel comfortable going back to get them redone for fear of making my teeth worse. Im never going back to this dental office, the dentist rushed my filling and didn't do it right because she was behind with her appointments. read more

The worst customer service ever!! I had my endodontist email my X-rays to them 3 times. Each time they said they didn't get it. Then I forward and they said that it's too many steps for them to log in and look at my X-rays. That I should email them as attachment. So I email them as attachment and they tell me "You should attach your xray and I can see it. Don't make it complecated." Unbelievable! I just emailed it as an attachment and then they respond with that to my email. I'm actually in shock that they are in business. I wouldn't trust them with my teeth if logging in to look at my X-rays is too complicated. I wonder if a cavity is too complicated too then. Unreal! Avoid this place. read more

I went to her and I did not like her work or attitude. Her and her husband are rude, hard to understand and very unprofessional.. She did work on me and now all her so called work needs to be redone by another dentist. She dose not know what shEs doing and I don't think she is very up on all the new tech that dentists have. Her English is horrible and her work is just as bad. Her husband is rude and the staff is just not very friendly .. Very unprofessional and do not recommend. I plan to complain and open a grievance with my insurance company . I asked her about my procedure and she answered back "don't worry about it". I went there upon convinience only. It's not a place I would recommend nor would deem to be professional. The problem isn't the language barrier but rather the lack of professionalism amongst the staff, including the doctor. The place seems to be run by vocational school interns sloppily trying to end the day and get you on your way. This was not a good experience for me overall. For the pros, the office staff was fairly nice and are quick in doing their job so you're not waiting around for long. They even let me use their cuopon when I forgot to bring it. For the cons, comfort is not a priority for them. Two people worked on me the whole time (except for the x-rays) and they gave no small breaks during the cleaning. I don't expect to be totally comfortable when I go to a dentist, but one would expect to have a certian level of care in this regard. They flossed my mouth very hard at the end and said I needed to floss more since I was bleeding, though I floss everyday. I would recommend not going to this place. read more

Very difficult to understand. My children like her and she is attentive, however, the language barrier is a problem and I have personaly had a filling that was placed several months ago and in still hurting. She said it was normal, I dont think so. Also, the fillings tend to fall out for no aparent reason. She will fix it of course free of charge but its a hassel. This Dentist is not where you want to take your kids! I have an 11 yr old and 5 yr and they both are afraid of the dentist, dr teresa nguyen. she has no beside manner. she actually told my 5 yr, "stop crying, I'm done now." I didn't know that I was going in for a surrogate parent lesson? She also tapped my kid on the chin and like she was disciplining her at the same time. I will never go back to this office or recommend this office to anyone who cares for their kids. Other negative experiences, the language gap of trying to communicate to the dentist and her husband? who are both Vietnamese. I'm all for a melting pot of America, my spouse is also Asian, but it makes it very hard to communicate when you cant understand what is being told to you. On the plus side, the receptionist/assistant, Marisel, was very friendly and helpful as she knows how to communicate and has to often translate what the dentist just said in the dental offices.
