Ah, the "Inlet". What a funny play on words, Land's End…read more I'm a big fan of Land's End. The Wisconsin based (buy local, ya'll) stuff is inexpensive but great quality. Their Land's End Canvas line is like a cheaper and simpler version of J. Crew and is great for basics. Oxford cloth button downs, check. Sweaters in classic colors, check. The best part of Land's End? They take returns anytime on any item for any reason. A button on a pea coat I had fell off and I was kind of sick of the jacket... so I returned it. Full refund back on my card, no questions asked. I personally hate shopping at the Sears location. Something about Sears smells terrible. Literally, the stench. This location is better, although their selection is always random. Luckily, they have now started carrying some of the Canvas line, which is great. The one thing I don't like is their customer service from employees. Not very helpful ever (it's a bunch of moms). Overall though... always worth a 5 minute stop if you're over there to check out their selection. I scored a nice Canvas blue oxford for $22 (originally $50) last time.

I entered the promotional code, clicked on "place my order" and got the usual order confirmation and order number for tracking my order. Several days later (and I admit, I didn't print my orde confirmation or get an email, which did strike me as odd, but I assumed foolishly that it was in my junk mail) I logged in to check the progress of my order, and found out that it didn't exist. I spoke with an online customer service rep, who was definitely NOT helpful, nor respectful. Her comments pretty clearly indicated she had no intention of quickly assisting me in making the order. My items were still in my bag, and from her perspective it was user error. The new price on my items was more than double the price on the day of the order. Considering the fact that the company has sales daily, her comments were surprisingly not helpful. I have made my purchase from Appleseeds, and I am done giving money to a company that employs or supports rudeness. Rudeness is not part of my value system. Even if the entire country turns to rude behavior, I will not and I won't shop there any more. I have been a customer for nearly 30 years. I am done.

She helped us pick out lighting fixtures, bathroom tile, wood flooring, bathroom fixtures and paint colors. She was so helpful and made suggestions regarding size and colors we wouldn't have normally considered but, so happy she did as we went with many of them. We also ordered a custom master king size bed where we were able to choose every detail and she helped us every step of the way. It's gorgeous!! Everything turned out perfectly. We've purchased home decor items and gifts at the store. Such unique and beautiful items. And the staff is always so friendly and helpful. We will use Home at Merriment for all of our design and home decor needs.

They recently worked with us on ordering over 17 jackets and 17 different hats for our fall photo shoot for our company's website and the hands-on assistance in obtaining just the right jacket for so many different body styles was very much appreciated. The attention to detail on the embroidery and screen printing is the best I have seen. The owners, Pam & Gary are very quick to return emails and calls and all of the staff there are friendly and easy to work with.
