This place is amazing they give nothing but the cleanest tapers and fades in Fountain Valley. I come all the way from Anaheim just to get my cut and my two boys cuts. I would recommend making an appointment just to make sure you don't have to wait because although they take in walk-ins it is a first come first serve basis which is how it is every where. I've seen probably one bad review on their yelp and if you look at his reviews all he does is give 1star reviews so don't buy it. If I could give 10 stars I would. James is my son's favorite barber. We travel from LA to see him because he will not trust anyone else with his hair. LOL. He will go months and let his hair grow out homeless style instead of going to someone else. James is extremely professional and passionate about what he does and he truly cares about the client's vision. He is is more than our barber he is a hair artiste and that's why we absolutely adore him. I do not mind the 50-60 mile drive just to see him. The shop is very interesting and unique. So our last barber became a crazy conspiracy theorist and scared my children. I looked around for a place that was groovey and respected customers when it came to say Covid or the flu. I found Union on Yelp and Google and decided to check it out. I did a walk-in which I do most of the time, but found out there isn't a fee for a reservation like most places (Thanks Andy). The shop is cool, very manly with the Husky tool boxes for their hardware. Vu has cut both my kids hair and is super awesome and friendly. The rest of the guys are super nice and chatty like you would expect from a local barber shop. Prices are pretty good for the post Covid times. I brought my boys here to get their haircuts, I'm not the best with knowing boys hair so I always show a picture and try to explain what I'm looking to have done.
