I've heard of this place for a while now and I never had the chance to stop by. Now that I did, I wish I had dropped by a lot sooner. This place is a perfect place to shop for people that like solid colors. It's not for people looking for a wide variety of clothing that has patterns and such. I absolutely love this clothing store and you can find different deals on select items. I love V Necks and I was able to find perfect fitting V neck shirts that came in various different colors. The material of the shirt felt great as well and it didn't feel tight on me. I looked around and saw they had discounted long sleeve tops with buttons so I got different colors in those. The sweat pants material was really nice as well, I'll definitely be back for those. Their Jean selection was huge they had so many different colors to choose from. This place is my new favorite store to shop. I like the quality of clothes and the styles they have. I'm not new to Uniqlo since I've been to the one in Japan and other locations in Southern California. They have simple layout and design to the store. All the employees are really helpful and nice. You can always find the size you want. I've never had any problems with this place. I had to exchange a vest recently because I got a women's vest instead of a mans. It was easy and took 2 mins. No issues or hassle. The fitting rooms are in the back and kept very clean. The store is generally very clean and tidy. They usually have S - XL sizes here, which is better than the Japanese sizes. I'm not sure if they have XXL or XXXL sizes. Please check online to see if that's actually offered in store. They have specials with certain brands and companies that run for a short time. The recent one was with One Piece. A very famous anime from Japan. Did you know that hem your pants for free? If you buy pants and they are a bit long, you can have it hemmed for free from them. Pretty cool and very nice of this company to offer that to their customers. I will definitely be going back to this place throughout the year to catch the special runs, simple style and affordable prices. read more

This review is for their alterations- I bought two pairs of chino pants and they were way too long so they offer free alterations so I asked someone how this worked...a random worker there came to my fitting room and cuffed the pants and asked how me how I would like it. I'm a regular dude and have no clue, I just know that they were too long. The staff was clearly not trained for this or a professional. If tailoring and alterations are being offered, someone skilled should have come out and done this. Got my pants back two hours later and they were WAY TOO SHORT. Shorter than where the guy had pinned them. I don't understand I can not return the pants anymore because they have been altered but I also don't want to wear them bc they look ridiculous. Only way I can pull these off would be if I'm barefoot on a beach...but why would I want to wear pants on a beach lol So I just can't wear either of these without looking odd. read more

Yes! Have found my pant / jean favorite store with exception of Zara, used the tailor FREE service when bought a pair of pants and I adore them! So much I went and bought three more pairs (have a jean/ pant addiction lol) two of the pairs are suitable for work and casual wear. Can be dressed up or casual, highly recommend for my petite girls with small frame, they give me a nice figure to my small frame and look very nice! Can't say enough things about this store, just today came to buy winter clothing for a soon trip to a cold state & the prices are so affordable and clothing great condition. There are no patterns and crazy designs which is what I love about this store. Just a classy, crisp, clean, suitable, clothing store for work casual business setting or everyday casual wear. P.S. actually one downside is the size measurement on tops! I can be a Medium or Large on some top items due to chest, try on shirts even if they seem like your size, that can make a major difference, at least for me I like some room and not have so tight clothing for tops. read more

I'm no means a fashionista but Uniqlo really fits my style. By style I mean solid colors, simple designs and well-made affordable clothing, none of that hype beast supreme stuff. After visiting their Torrance location, which is much bigger by comparison, they didn't have the shirts I wanted but after asking the salesman he promptly took me there and even informed me of the sale. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes and that's something I can really appreciate. Despite the smaller location I would come here again for the friendly and quick service. read more

Love Uniqlo but hate the Cerritos Uniqlo store. I purchased an item online in mid January but it was too big. My receipt mentioned that I could return the item with tag attached, and accompanied by the receipt, to the store within 60 days for a full refund. Came in to the store on Monday, 2/6/17, and was told by an associate that the (Cerritos) Uniqlo store cannot process returns on online purchase. This associate plainly refused to talk to me afterwards, insisted that it is their store policy, and told me I could verify it with the customer service as well. Called the customer service number and was told that I was given the wrong information by the associate. I ended up shipping my returns instead. Cerritos Uniqlo store sucks! read more

Customer service needs to be looked at. The cashier Angelica H projected a not so friendly demeanor probably because it was already 330pm and lots of customer in line to pay. She called for next customer and when I walked up there's not even a hi and hello. I did an exchanged and she just laid down the return slip i needed to fill out without even saying anything. She rang another of my item but decided not to get it when told it was a regular price & must have mixed up with the sale ones. This location is just average, compared to Beverly Center, but better than Glendale and Costa Mesa stores. The Mall itself is undergoing a renovation, so a little construction and a lot of traffic on a hot day led to some aggravating times, thus the 3 star. The store itself is only about 5 months old, and offers free tailoring of hems for items over $20.00 and $5.00 for less this amount or dress pants made of wool, which apparently requires a special stitch; I just don't get it. I am just starting to investigate a new denim stitch called Selvedge jeans, which are a little stretchy but really nice fitting; they say you buy them tight and wash them sparingly. I was at the Cerritos mall on Thanksgiving to walk off a huge dinner after a day of stuffing myself, and we walked into Uniqlo to browse. Jeans were $10 off, and I couldn't resist the sale since Uniqlo also does free alterations for jeans over $20. The alteration would be done by noon the next day, which is a great turnaround time during Black Friday. A few days later, I went to pick it up and forgot to bring my receipt, but good thing IDs also work. I tried on the hemmed jeans and they were still too long. -_-" But the associate was really nice and helped me to pin it to be altered a second time. Such great customer service! I also like how they will hold your alterations for 90 days, which is convenient for me since I can't always go right away to pick it up. read more

I love Uniqlo and this store in particular always has a great variety. They also have a small sale section every time I visit which is awesome! The only thing about this location is the lack of sales people on the floor. When I have questions, I feel that I have to go around the store to track down someone to help me. I love Uniqlo and their clothes. This store is fairly new and it showed. It was small in comparison to the other locations I have been to. They also didn't have any good sales. I don't think I saw any sales. Everything was full price which surely didn't entice me to purchase something I didn't need at the time. The employee at the front the greeted people as they walked in was nice and friendly. That was the only person I saw working. There were probably more at the checkout counter but I didn't make it that far. Maybe in time this store will get better and have better deals. Came during the grand opening weekend; I'd been to the one in South Coast and this one is a little closer. Memorial Day wasn't too packed. In fact, I could hear a bunch of people complaining hat it was ridiculous...but honestly, what else would you expect grand opening weekend? And it REALLY wasn't that bad, as grand openings go. Only thing was that the line to just get into the fitting room was kinda long; I even ran into an instance of a slick line cutter, who I could've easily called out but didn't wanna make a scene. A staff member came by and thanked us for waiting in line every few minutes(as if we had a choice), so that was different, hehehe. Sucks to be an inbetween size; I always have to check if I'm a medium or a small. They have a max of 4 registers, which on a usual day prob isn't too bad, but I did see some iPads that they had set aside for purchases, so they could've taken 2 or 3 associates off the floor to speed up the purchase line. But other than that, the experience wasn't anything out of the ordinary. "Highest quality casual clothing" is what Uniqlo has been known for...so prices aren't too bad. Found some tshirts and shorts and we were out within 45 min. Spent ~$100 and got a few shirts, some shorts, and some clothes for a girls' bday gift, pretty good value IMO. Service staff was okay, didn't need much help so I can't really comment too much about them. The store is in the Macy's wing of the mall, so park accordingly. Honestly, due to how hard it can get to even enter the mall and then find parking...I would rather drive the extra 10 to go to south coast..just a preference thing tho. read more

This is one of the smaller Uniqlos but for some reason they have more stock than the bigger stores. It's not as crazy as the South Coast location. I think the set up of the store is a little odd as the register is towards the middle of the store and sometimes no one is ad the register. The absolute worst part about this location is the horrible parking. You have to stalk people in the parking lot to get a spot. I've taken advantage of the free tailoring of pants (at a different location ins SF) and they do a good job and it's quick. read more

A friend who has tons of retail experience recommended this chain. I stumbled upon one of their stores on a recent trip to the mall. I bought a really cute Marimekko top and 2 plain tees. The 2 tees have literally fallen apart after ONE washing. The bottom hems are coming out. Yes, they cost less than $10, but if I knew I was buying disposable clothing, I wouldn't have bothered. Stopped by this Uniqlo after hearing that it just opened! I'm so glad that one opened closer to me. This location was pretty good and I can tell there were still several managers training new employees. This Uniqlo is much better then the one that they have at Glendale Galleria being stocked with a majority of the items available online. While I was there, all the workers were extremely helpful and kept offering me a bag to hold my stuff. A+ customer service. Awesome store! Will be back soon. read more

Love me some UNIQLO. . I will be going to the south coast one now. The customer service here today was upsetting. I was trying on clothes in the fitting room and had over the limit. The girl helping me totally gave all of my clothes away in between going back and forth to try stuff on. When I asked her about it she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about, even when she helped me 2 minutes ago. 3 other employees came back and none of them offered to check or help. Then I asked for a manager and he didn't care much. If one person would of been like "sorry, let me help you find your items." (Besides the manager after I expressed my annoyance) it would of been ok. But they didn't care and so now I will spend that 200 bucks in Zara. read more

Poor customer service. One girl helping a customer with a purchase and return. I was the only person in line. You can tell the transaction was getting difficult. The line started to form. Like 4 people behind me. The girl at the register never a) acknowledge me b) apologize for the long wait and when I asked her if another sales person can open the register she seemed annoyed. First and last time in this store. I only purchased a gift card. If you are a part of the management team for this store please train your staff to acknowledge the customer. This location has just the friendliest and hardworking employees. I came in tonight and couldn't really decide on a coat I needed for a trip when I came across Hanami. I asked for her opinion and she was just most helpful!!! Not only did she help confirm the fit was good, she also went down a list of other considerations needed for layering, ease of movement and comfort. I just ran into this store to purchase socks and the line was super long, which is understandable since its the holiday season, so that was not the issue. They had 3 out of 4 registers working, even though they should have staffed 4, but I get it, maybe they didnt have enough payroll or someone called in sick, etc. The issue I have is that out of the 3 registers only 1 was accepting cash! It was like they were punishing you if you didn't pay debit or credit. The only cashier that was taking cash, was gone for a very long time from the register because she was looking for an item for a customer, which means I had to wait longer, since I was paying cash, and had to continue to hear from the other 2 cashiers "next customer that is paying credit or debit ONLY" I counted over 20 customers go ahead of me, even though they were behind me in line, because I was forced to wait for the one and only cashier that was taking cash to come back and finish with their customer! This is unacceptable during the holidays to limit your registers as to what tender they can take. I could understand if it was 10 min before closing and you are counting registers to close them, but on a Friday at 4pm on xmas week is ridiculous and HORRIBLE customer service! read more

He kept saying im missing the payment method and said theres nothing he could do. I called their customer service line and the rep told me that the cashier should have called them to verify the receipt. On 2/15/2019 2:30 pm I went to the store to exchange a down jacket that I bought last year. Normally all down jacket has stitches across the fabric to prevent the goose feathers from falling down to the bottom, but not the one I bought last year. I show to the shift manager and she admits it's a defective but she insist on their return policy which needs to bring cloth back with tag on it and store receipt before product can be refunded or exchanged. Even after I was able to produce the digital credit card receipt it was not enough. This is clearly a store that doesn't back their product even with their logo on the cloth. With their design you would rather buy it at Costco where they will stand behind their product at least. On my way out the clerk who initially handle my case even shouted across the room 'Have a good day' like he was glowing for the win. They should really train and recruit staff to have some common curtesy and decency to customer. This is the worse humiliating experience I have with any store. Do Not buy there. read more

The store just opened, so I understand they need to work out some kinks but I've worked customer service for years, so I know firsthand that I shouldn't have been treated the way I was. They promoted free pants hemming and required that I pick it up the next day. When I came to pick up the pants the next day, they couldn't find it. The guy that first helped me couldn't find the pants and seemed to throw the burden onto another co-worker without explaining to me what was going on. So I had to ask the guy what was up with my pants. He said someone else is looking for it. Time passes and a concerned female worker helps me try to find the pants. She was apologetic and got me a manager. The manager though... I asked for a return, she said agreed and apologized. Which was cool, but then she lectured me on how i needed a receipt and that she couldn't process it without it. She kept going on and on when i had to raise my voice saying that her employee took my receipt to go look for the pants (I don't like raising my voice over pants). While processing the return, I was told that the store just opened so they still need to work things out. I understand. Then she told me that I basically should have known better than to get my pants hemmed the first week it opened (even though they only sell one length size and advertised it) Then I was told I should have taken the pants home first and washed them and brought them back because they shrink. Then I was asked if I still wanted to buy the pants back later if they find the pants. I usually just let it go but i was heated in the morning over a pair of pants. It was a combination of being in traffic for an hour trying to get to the store to get the pants, having to wait about 30 minutes to try to get the pants. Also not like wasting time. I would've been fine with them looking for the pants and after 5 minutes telling me they lost it and gave me a refund. The store just opened, so ill check back later, but please be more efficient. read more

A lot of the stuff is nice, but very expensive. T-shirts with a small graphic are $15! I was tempted to buy 2 but only walked out with a Peanuts t-shirt since two would have been $30! However, a lot of the stuff is misplaced and you kinda have to hunt it down to see where the right price can be found. Also, the sizing is really off for bottoms (pants, skirts, shorts) and can be very long if you are petite like me. They had some jeans for $6 and I pulled out the smallest size and it was way too wide and long, making them seem extremely unproportionate. However, they have a lot of cute stuff but it is fairly overpriced. (Ex: a skirt for $30; $100 trench coat; very thin and flimsy rainjacket for $50; one pair of underwear for $6; shorts for $30). read more

Very clean and neat location. A great selection of clothing from essentials, outerwear, and $2 socks. I've been to other Uniqlo locations, but this one is probably the best. Walking here makes me feel like a kid walking through Toys R Us spending Christmas cash. But yeah, I'll definitely be coming back here for all the stuff I couldn't get today.
