I was contacted by Umair, who was interested in purchasing my vehicle. We agreed on a date, time and location for "Z" to meet and look at the vehicle. Shortly before the time to meet, Umair contacted me and said he had to cancel and asked to re-schedule. We agreed on a new date and evening time to meet. Shortly before the time I was suppose to meet "Z" I got a phone call from him and he asked to meet at a later time because he was running late. This of course messed with my family schedule for a second time. I finally met with him and we agreed on a cash offer as well as a date and location to conduct business banking and delivery of the vehicle, all of which was approved by Umair. What sat weird with me though, was that I asked "Z" for a business card and he did not have one and I could not verify who he was. The next day I received information from "Z" that Umair was not going to honor the agreed upon sale price for my vehicle. I then spoke to Umair. He told me he was lowering his offer based on the pending date of transaction and delivery of the vehicle. Although he decided to lower his offer despite an already agreed upon offer, I continued to accept his lower bid with the agreed date of transaction still in place. I told him I would be in contact with him 1 day before to confirm he would be ready to move on the sale. The day before the sale was suppose to happen, I text messaged Umair in the morning hours. The whole day and evening went by and Umair failed to respond. This, in conjunction with him being a no show on the first date and a running late on the second date, as well as deciding to change his original cash offer after an offer was provided and accepted was not sitting well with me and caused me to wonder how reputable he and his business actually was. In the end, I had a great high end car on the market and I just could not trust Umair and his associates to complete a fair and honest transaction and deliver him a vehicle without proof of funds or payoff. If you choose to attempt to conduct business with Umair and his company and this kind of stuff bothers you, I would suggest you take your car and business elsewhere.
