Found my wedding dress when they were closing. Got it for 60% off and I had the best experience.

Staff is rude and treat their customers badly. Last place i would recommend to anyone. Horrible treatment!

I was there today and the staff is truly amazing. I had no idea what style, shape, or color dress I wanted for my wedding. Lol. I worked with Courtney and and the other girls. They asked questions and pulled lots of beautiful choices to the room. After watching me try on a few dresses. She (Courtney) went back and pulled one more surprise out. This beautiful sweetheart neckline strapless dress. Beautiful bedding and lace. Corset back. Absolutely to die for. I got it on and looked in the mirror and was like ok this is gorgeous. I walked out of the room and saw myself. I had my moment. The one every female wants. I began to cry and knew that no other dress would come close. These ladies are absolutely amazing. I am speaking somewhat on the behalf of the bride here - but I want to make sure that people understand something regarding this shop. To keep this very short - this shop has been a huge stressor for the bride to be in an upcoming wedding. Everyone that works at this shop falls extremely short on customer service. The shop sized up all of our bridesmaide dresses - grossly larger than what the sizing chart for the designer suggested or what was requested by customer. I spoke to a different/local bridal store (girls in white dresses - they are great by the way) regarding what they did and she said it was likely due to the store wanting to capture the sales from performing alterations. I just want to be clear to everyone considering to do business with this store - the manager is quite clueless, the services provided are subpar and if ever given an option to do business here - I would suggest heading to Detroit or Chicago where there is a little competition and the store owners are willing to provide good customer service. I don't have a history of writing negative reviews and I will not make a habit of it, but this shop needs to go out of business. read more

Wow! What a gem. I am a bridesmaid and the bride and I scheduled an appointment to come in from out of town. I am so excited about The Dress the bride bought! I had been to a bunch of bridal shops before this and Unique Bridal had *the most beautiful* selection of gowns, so she actually had to choose from a few, each uniquely gorgeous. The staff respected space and wore masks while still being super helpful and smiling with their eyes. :) I especially appreciated how sweet they were to her grandma who came to watch, getting her a taller chair so she could sit comfortably by the trifold mirror. 10/10 would recommend you check out this shop if you're looking for a wedding dress! read more

Unique Bridal has been very helpful for finding my dresses (bride getting married in later this year) although my family and I took, what seemed like forever, trying on bridesmaids dresses on multiple occasions they were always very patient and helpful despite how busy the shop was. I have already been there on several occasions for my wedding, past weddings I have been in, and am always greeted with a smile. They are all sweet and nonjudgmental services provides unlike many bridal places I have been to. I do agree that they try to sell dresses that are too large, but I feel it's more of them trying to be cautious then trying to earn more money. When they tried to do this with me I was firm in my request of ordering the smaller size and they were very accommodating. Highly recommend this store for all your wedding attire needs, got the bridesmaids, bride, groom, groomsmen, ring bearer, and usher all taken care of here and feel that they have done a great job! read more

I got my wedding gown at Unique Bridal of Auburn for my February 9th 2013 wedding in Brighton MI. When I went to Unique Bridal for the first time I had no intention of finding "the dress" that day - I just wanted to try on as many styles as I could and get a "feel" for what direction I was heading in. I showed our consultant photos of what I wanted and also told her to bring me a big variety of gowns to try on - including the "belle" dress from the Disney Bridal Collection - I knew I didn't want a big poofy dress but I HAD to try that one on! The shop is small in an intimate way, but with an excellent selection and variety of dresses in all price-points and styles. The consultants are very helpful and not pushy at all! Ours helped me put on and take off the dresses and was very discreet. They have a lovely little area for looking at the dress, with a podium and big mirrors on both sides of you, as well as excellent lighting to really catch the "sparkles" on some of the dresses. They were also wonderful about helping me get the full bridal look by bringing me different veils and accessories. After trying on only ten dresses - I found the one! I didn't expect to find it so easily but I knew that was it, especially because (as fun as it was to try on so many gowns) I just didn't want to see any more! I bought it that day. I wanted to have the modified sweetheart neckline changed to a full sweetheart, and I also wanted to add off-shoulder straps. They were very accommodating on these alterations and the measurements they took off of me were accurate - that dress fit like a glove from the moment it came in! Months later when it was time for alterations . . .the woman who did my alterations was very patient and did her job well, she genuinely seemed to love it! She carefully went over my gown for any little stray strings, and did a lovely job on the bustle. She seemed genuinely excited to see the finished product and was very enthusiastic about the gown - I loved that. They also let me have all of the mirror time I wanted! Haha. One month before my wedding at the final fitting I asked to purchase a belt (I had decided on the belt when I bought the dress, but thought that I had plenty of time to buy it, so I didn't worry about it). They told me that the belt's often take was long as the dresses to come in and that they didn't have any! Not only did they spend about thirty minutes calling around to see if there were any in my size that they could get within a month, they also ended up calling another bride who ordered the same belt and who wasn't getting married until 2014 and asked her if I could have that one and they could order her a new one (since there was MORE than enough time to get one for her) - luckily she said yes! I SO appreciated how they went above and beyond in trying to help me complete my "look". My dress was stunning, fit perfectly, and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend Unique Bridal in Auburn for all brides, price points, and styles -it is a much better option than the generic David's Bridal route - you get personalized attention, the salon is small and intimate, and the employees not only genuinely love their jobs but they show it! read more

Speaking as the bride, I came here in search of a dress I found online (which this was the only bridal shop who had it in the surrounding area). To much of my surprise, this little bridal shop has a great selection of not only wedding dresses but bridesmaids as well! Happily, I can say I bought my dream dress (the one I saw online) with the help of two lovely girls, Kasee & Nicole! These girls are the select few that are helpful and nice! With many options for bridesmaids dresses me and my sister, with much contemplation, found the one! NOW...... I HIGHLY recommend NOT going by the sizing chart any of these people recommend!!!! This is their job, but clearly no one knows how to measure or glance at someone and get a descent size for their body type.... My sister, bigger chested but size 6 waist, was told to order a SIZE 10... Clearly my sister was shocked, so she told them no, I'm going to order an 8.. They made her sign a waiver that she was going against "their measurements, recommendation, and expertise" to order a size she felt would best suit her! And of course it came in wayyyy to big, thank goodness she didn't order the 10 like the suggested! Her, plus my 4 other bridesmaids dress sizes where so unbelievable big on them! Granted, I know alterations will likely be needed on any bridesmaid dress, but these were to the extreme!!!!!!!!! Not only were the bridesmaids dresses a disaster but with the guys tuxes we ordered were a NIGHTMARE!!! For one you can't try on anything at the store which I did not see that posted, just rudely informed after we drove an hour and 15mins! The tuxes were advertised as "slim fit" and when they came in the week of the wedding...Wednesday and our wedding was on a Friday...anyhow, my husband's tux was like he had MC Hammer pants! Needless to day his pants had to be altered 3x, vest too big, my brotherS jackets had to be sent back for smaller sizes (that's another story in its self) and guys that lived outa state/town had to just deal with the sloppy mess they sent! The price you pay to wear something for one night, you bet you should be looking sharp! Now, that's something this shop surely did not make sure of and that was truly disappointing! read more

We went to look at Bridesmaid dresses, and we were greeted by a GREAT consultant, half way thru the appointment a "bride" came in and they yanked our great girl, and gave us some High School kid that knew nothing. We did not get our dresses there but decided to rent tuxedos from them. BIG MISTAKE. 7 tuxes ordered, and when they came in 4 were messed up. Shoes didn't fit, Jackets wrong size, sleeves too short. When I called to complain, they could care less. We will have it right on wedding day they said. Well yes it was right, but how many extra trips back to Unique Bridal do you have to make after they take measurements and write all this stuff down, and it is STILL wrong. No money back offered for the inconvenience, nothing. Do yourself a big favor and save a huge headache, so elsewhere. read more

The workers were very nice, and the bride of the wedding I was in had a very positive experience finding her dress. But me and a few of the other bridesmaids did not have a great experience with our dresses. I understand the prices being high because most of the dresses are designer, but they do not offer alterations to bridesmaids only to the bride. Then they ordered my dress way too big in the bust, too tight in the waist, and way way too long, I'm only 5'4" and they ordered me an extra long dress. The customer service was good, but I just wasn't satisfied with the end result. read more

Went to this place looking for a bridal dress for myself. Not impressed. I told the girl that worked there what style I was looking for, she went and looked and brought back some dresses - none of which I liked. She did this twice and after the second time I asked her if I could look through their selection and she said "No, I don't think that's a good idea." Why the hell not? They had a huge selection, but if the bride can't look for her own dress for the style she wants, what's the point? The girl was very helpful but they need to let the brides go through the dresses and pick one out themselves. read more

When you go to a bridal shop and the employee sitting on her duff refuses to provide measurements to a customer. Unacceptable. My girlfriend went here looking for a dress and needed measurements beforehand. When asked if they could provide measurements the lazy employee sitting on her duff simply gave a rude/dumb smirk and refused to provide a simple task. Needless to say this location lost our business and will not receive any positive feedback in the future. We just moved to Auburn. Trust me, worth the drive elsewhere. read more

This bridal shop should NOT b in business! To make a long story somewhat short, bridesmaids dresses were ordered from here, one was 3 inches to big the other 6 inches to big! After 5 trips there to try and fix it still not right! Had to take it to a home town place only for them to tell us the person who did the work wasn't really informed on how to do alterations! ( in there opion) it was obvious the person had not a clue what she was doing! The manager is clueless, when I called to tell them the front was still not right she told me to come back, I explained about how many trips we had my and it's 2 hrs round trip....and we re now 5 days till the wedding! She explained u order a dress they can only get so close to a size??? Obviously. .well 3 inches and way to short is NOT close! The per s on ordering the dress asked for the long legs and was willing to pay the extra $20.00 for it......they said she didn't need it..des 5'6 and did need it!!! Enough, I think u get the point, most CERTAINLY NOT WORTH THE AGGERVATION when ur trying to plan a wedding! There a ton of other places that will help u and will value ur business! I came in yesterday for an appointment to look at bridal gowns with my friend who is getting married next Summer. We worked with Marisa who is amazing! She asked for what the bride was looking for, what she had already tried on and what she didn't like and then pulled amazing dresses. My friend tried on 10-15 dresses and there were maybe 2-3 she didn't like. Plus the dresses came in larger sizes so she was able to try on EVERYTHING and be clipped into it being smaller. (We had just come from another shop that had a few dresses we wanted to try but were too small). Marisa was so amazing to work with, she listened to everything, offered options, opinions and insight when necessary and I didn't feel like we were bothering her or annoying her with our questions. And the other women working during the appointment would stop by and comment on how great the bride looked in different dresses and seemed honestly excited for her. I was so happy with the customer service and selection and hope to work with them for the bridesmaid dresses too! Thank you Marisa!!! read more

I was shopping for a Mother of the Bride dress. The first two dresses suggested were appalling but the third dress was much more inline of what I was looking for. I felt pressured to order it on the spot and put down 50%. I was told the dress was to be custom made for me. When it arrived, it was EXACTLY the same size all over as the sample dress, including being about 18" too long. I was not happy with the quality and imperfections, so I asked to return it. I was told I signed a contract that no returns were allowed, but I don't feel the contract held up to its obligation of "sizing it to fit my measurements." I told the girl it was unfortunate they couldn't do something, and that I was disappointed...particularly since the manager did not even come out of the back room to speak to me. She conveyed the message to her employee. I get better service from a department store and will discourage anyone I talk to from going there. read more
