Just the fact I didn't have to pay anything, Unique Imaging is 5 stars when you need to see get imaging done. Let me explain... When I needed imaging for my checkup as part of my full wellness era, I found Unique Imaging as it is close to my house, has pretty convenient hours and had the most cost effective. I called to make my appointment, and gave them my insurance information. When I get there, it occurred to me to try and use my secondary insurance. Even though it was toward the end of the day, the office manager called and got the secondary insurance processed, and I walked out with the same amount of money I came in with. Back to the medical part, the wait was reasonable both before coming in to the procedure room, test itself and waiting for them to burn a CD to take to my doctor. (They also didn't charge extra for that.) They also provide a QR code / web portal address to share your images. The testing room itself was clean, and the scanner didn't sound like I was standing next to the speakers in the main stage at Ultra. The tech who did my imaging was knowledgeable and pleasant. I also appreciated that they forwarded the link with the images to my doctor and that apparently the images were clear enough that I wasn't asked to repeat the testing. The facility is located right on Biscayne Boulevard, with parking in the back both valet & self park. Side note for the history buffs, this is the building that used to house the police museum, the FBI museum and the restaurant where we had a fun elite event. read more

Insurance confirmation, etc. this was confirmed 7/22. Received preparation info. All set. Test set for tomorrow, he started the prep-and just rece was texted a cancellation notice because he has a defibrillator-THIS IS THE DAY OF PREPARATION ! Not only did they have that info, but they chose to not give him a call. A text which so often is missed. He has many health issues-anything could have triggered some other health issue. If you try to call them they don't answer. If you email them, they don't answer. And this company has 3 sites - one telephone! Surprised about the negative reviews here given that I have been here two times for two separate reasons through two different doctors and both experiences have been excellent. Scheduling was easy via phone and there was lots of availability. Check-in was easy and my wait was less than 10 mins each time, even though I showed up 20+ mins prior to my appointment. The MRIs were quick and painless and I was in and out in 5 minutes. There's free self-parking and valet at the office, so getting in and out is easy. read more

You would never know that this place is to do MRI and X Rays. As soon you open the door is like visiting a s Spa. Very relaxing music playing, with a screen tv with nice captures images from around the world. The walls are like gray bricks with some crystals that make the walls shine. The front office female that greets you as soon you come in by the name, Tayri is very friendly, with a nice smile and the way she talks explaining the procedure make you feel comfortable and you have the sensation that you are in nice profesional place. As you go in there is a locker to put your belongings and if you need a gown they will provide you with one in a closed plastic bag with a nice message saying: We want you to have and outstanding patient experience. 'Please enjoy this gown that was chosen for you'. I think is a nice little touch the message. When you go in the treatment room, the technician explain everything you need to know and ask you more questions. She provides ear plugs and a pair of headphones and you get to choose the music of your preference. She gives you a little cable with something round just in case you need it you can press it and she will assist you. Overall my experience was phenomenal, I didn't feel like I was in those other offices that are dirty, noisy, mean and lock of professionals. I love it! So, I went here to do a scan post cancer. It's obviously a very emotional time and I was nervous to do this test. I first went to the Aventura location and it was horrific. I drank a lot of water as instructed and the technician could not find a vein. The next tech came in and it was literally like an assembly line after four techs and 15 attempts to inject me, we called it quits. I was hysterical and it was a really traumatic experience. Luckily, I was sent to another location in Midtown, where Josh was the person in charge of the scan. He is a godsend. He found my vekn in five seconds injected, me and I was on my way in 15 minutes. This man needs a raise. Thank you Josh. If you are going to need to get contrast of any kind please ask if he's working that day. read more

Had a CT Scan done on Friday May 24th and was told by the radiologist that my results would be at my Dr's office on Tuesday the 28th or Wednesday the 29th. Today is June 3rd and still no results. My Dr's office has called and I have called and nothing. I was just on the phone with them listening to some horrible music for 15 minutes to then be told by a recorder to leave a message. When we go get those tests is because something is wrong in our bodies and you think someone would care. However, in that place no one cares at all. Now I guess I will have to keep waiting. I will never again go to this place. This people are so bad that they did not even bother to return my call after I left them the message they requested. read more

The girl in the front was un helpful and unprofessional. Zero communication. She was too busy on her phone sharing videos with the other girl at the front desk. I mean what do I expect with an office that allows septum piercings to be worn? Really really. I have tattoos all over my body and have had a nose piercing. By far the the worst company I've dealt with. I arrived to my appointment on time and was informed that there's three patients ahead of me and will delay my appointment by 15 mins. It's 1.5 hours later and I'm still waiting to be seen. I was transferred from one of their other facilities because the MRI machine was not working and the least they could've done was call me to inform me that the machine was down and that there were a few individuals ahead of me. Office staff is unfriendly no eye contact or greeting and does not use best practices In handling patient account issues in a timely manner. I was overcharged for services before my insurance paid...and they have been insufficient in applying a credit to my credit card account for which a refund is due for the overpayment. Setting up my MRI appointment for 2 MRI's was easy and the receptionist helpful. when the insurance company balked she helped me reschedule and when the day came everything went very smoothly. They had run out of CD's so said they would send me a link to be able to pull up the report for 3 doctors that were interested in the result of a shoulder MRI. They gave me a sheet with an ID and my date of birth which would be my access to the report in a couple of days. From Thursday to Monday I waited and then to pull it up. Today I took the report and the disc to the orthopedic surgeon. And, wait for it................the CD was blank. Luckily there was a report from which the surgeon and I could have a discussion. Upon returning home I called the HQ to tell the tale. They told me to come get another one, no charge hahaha. I explained lack of transportation etc. and after a few holds was told they could take it to the doctor. Told them kind of too late since we already had the meeting so just refund me the $10.00. A few more holds.......................and I could either come there or they would take it all the way across town. I told them to take it across town because now I want them to spend the time and money which will surely cost them more than the $10. They couldn't send a check, nor Zelle or whatever. So what started out as a positive experience ended up in a rip off. And if they choose to respond COVID is not an excuse. I'm especially frustrated as I payed for the MRI out of my own pocket because the insurance company wants me to do light exercise. The result BTW is I'm scheduling surgery for a shoulder replacement. Unique Imaging has good copayments or MRI out of insurance rates but has the worst Customer Service ever. The options to speak to someone are null, so leaving a message is a waste of time. I had to make my appt in person. I had the test and they told me to wait 3 business days for the Report. I went the third day, Report was not ready, i went on day 4, report was not ready and Medical records assured the report was going to be ready the following day in the morning. I went on the 5th day and the report was not ready and Medical records said this time, the report was not ready because the Radiologist was on vacation. Every day is a new person and don't take responsibilities on whatever they inform the client the date before. Long story short, i am doubting if the test and results are reliable. read more

I have been trying to get an MRI for over a month. They said my prescription wasn't there apparently they found it after cancelling than couldn't reach PI scheduler. I tried to run it through insurance, scheduled went to appt running 3 hours late, rescheduled then 2 hours late, last attempt they were running over 2 hours late again. They have no regard for anyones time. Awful!! read more

This is what it says on their website which is definitely not the case!!! Patient first approach and patients Health above anything but "MONEY" it should say! This place is a joke with no costumer service skills what so ever! All they care about is if you have the money to pay for the service needed. Like who has $5,500 just sitting in their bank account. My father had prostrate cancer a few years ago (he is a survivor). Most recently he went to his urologist and his exam came out of the norm. They referred him to this clinic to have a procedure done to determine if the cancer came back. He was scheduled to have the exam done tomorrow (yes, one day before his appointment) we receive a call from this office stating that his insurance doesn't cover and that he has to paid the exam in full. Last week when my parents were there they were told that if the insurance didn't cover the procedure we could arrange a payment plan. Today, it all changed. We were told that no payment plan would be provided and that what we were told last week was incorrect. I requested to speak to the Manager, I was transferred to "Mickey". Omg talk about RUDE with no people skills whatsoever. She was basically screaming to me on the phone( I basically had to say... Why are you screaming at me)!! How can she be a manager? What a joke!! To make the story short, don't bother to go to this place. If your insurance doesn't cover for the needed procedure they won't even work with you and arrange a payment plan. In other words, tough luck. You don't have $5,500 to pay upfront, we won't do the procedure and wont even offer a payment plan. You are on your own! Thanks for having some compassion. I went to this clinic Unique imaging in Biscayne BLVD on May 7, 2019 to help my husband with his exams, but the clinic was so confused and disorganized to find the FAX with my husband's information, the reception ask me to call my another clinic, to them send again the FAX for UNIQUE, but my another clinic already has sent it twice 1 day before and they ask me to solve their UNIQUE problem, my another clinic sent it once, I stay solving it with more than 1 hour for my husband to make his exam, I was with a lot of luck, because I arrived at UNIQUE with more than 1 hour early. Finally after 1 hour I solved all the disorganization of the clinic and my husband made his exam. I don't recommend this clinic to no one, my first impression was terrible !! read more

After going after my US report calling 2-3x per day I got the report the morning I needed it. They made sure to call me back letting me know it was in. They delivered but I really got on their backs about it. The report quality was pretty good, the radiologist gave a detailed report- more than most places will provide. read more

Great place to get a MRI and MRA. Clean and professional. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you live in Midtown or Buena Vista it's very convenient. Take a uber there because there is only 10 parking spots. They do however have a valet, so that is an option too. Hope this helps. read more

My experience with unique was great. My appointment was at 9:30am and by 10:05am I was on my way. Their scheduler Zayda was very friendly and helpful, while their tech made the process quick and made sure to get the best images for my breast mri.
