The Pineapple is better than Dole Whip at Disneyland! Yes, I said it! It is better than Dole Whip, and I love Dole Whip. Try to say with a straight face that this isn't better than Dole Whip! Your tastebuds will confirm just how passionate the owner, Csaba, is for his craft of Gelato. Csaba's flavors may just have topped Bobboi in La Jolla. She struck up a conversation with the owner in Hungarian. I had wanted to come here for the longest time so it was our first visit here. The owner, Czaba Kiss very warm & welcoming. I ordered the Hungarian Sausage Panini & hubby ordered the smoked turkey Panini, both came with veggie chips. Our sandwiches were delicious & filling but didn't stop us from trying the gelato & chimney cake. Hubby had one scoop of chocolate & I had a scoop of coffee & hazelnut. We really savored our gelato! Our Hungarian friend ordered a delicious cup of cappuccino & her hubby had the cinnamon & sugar chimney cake. Hubby & I shared the glazed chimney cake, which was warm, crispy on the outside & fluffy on the inside. We really enjoyed it! We stayed until closing. First time at this location. There is ample parking since it's in a plaza. The interior is small and intimate seating and cute outdoor seating as well. I did not see high chairs available. The gelato flavors change 2-3 days and are made in-house, and sampling is allowed. All flavors I sampled were delicious. I went here today with my daughter on a whim. Nowhere in my Sunday goal was hitting up a bakery, but it just popped up on my phone as one of the best bakeries in town and I saw they had gelato so I figured I'd check it out. I'm so glad I did! The service was amazing. The gentleman who was working wouldn't let me choose a flavor until I tried everything he had. He even let me buy one of tomorrow's flavors. I had hazelnut pistachio and my daughter had one that had chocolate hazelnut in it. Every single flavor I tried was delicious, so it was really hard to choose. The place is clean and quaint. They have a TV that shows how they make their pastries and gelato. There is a little outside seating area as well. The location is easy to get to and not over crowded with cars. The prices are really reasonable as well. I paid $5.00 for two small cups of gelato which I feel is comparable to most places. I will absolutely be going there again. 10/10 would highly recommend. read more
