I had a great experience at Unique Ultrasounds in Redlands. The location is cute, and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. When I first walked in, I'll admit I wasn't completely sure what to expect--there were a couple of very young staff members at the front who appeared to be students. They were very sweet and welcoming, and I want to emphasize that I fully support hands-on training and learning environments. However, since it was my first time at this location, I personally preferred having an experienced technician for my scan. Based on prior reviews, I did request that my ultrasound be performed by an experienced technician, and they delivered on that request, which I really appreciated.Once I was brought in, the ultrasound technician, Alli, immediately put me at ease. This wasn't my first intimate ultrasound, and I could tell right away that she was very confident, professional, and experienced. She had a steady hand, explained things clearly, and asked all the right questions throughout the scan, which made the whole experience very reassuring. Another big plus is the pricing--it is very affordable, which was an important factor in my decision to choose this location. The radiology report was also provided in a very timely manner, which I really appreciated. Overall, I came away very impressed and would absolutely return for future ultrasounds or thermography. Tip for the ladies coming in for their scan: FLOOD yourself with liquid and come later in the day. You'll get the best, clearest pictures. I happened to drink extra fluid all day long and called to make a same day appointment for 3:30 on 4/27. They got us in quick, allowed up to 4 visitors, and were absolutely wonderful. I'm around 30 weeks and chose to get the $70 package. Through our session, the tech was kind and super informative about what she was seeing. She took over 100 pictures (137 total) and they were the best images I've had yet. The room has a huge wall that is projected onto. They'll also make sure to get a ton of angles and many pictures of the face. I absolutely recommend coming here if you want to get 3d/4d ultrasounds. I wasn't going to post. But my husband was really upset leaving our recent ultrasound. We Purchased a package here that included: 3D/4D images and recording of scan, of our first baby. First appointment Baby was 25wks. The first attempt to see baby was a decent experience. It all felt just slightly rushed, but once we all got warmed up, the tech was nice and informative. She talked about baby's position, pointed out different anatomy, and answered my step daughters questions. Baby wasn't too cooperative, but eventually we were able to see a bit of her face. Apart of the package included a free rescan if we'd like to try again. We decided to try again. (3 stars because first tech was nice) Rescan appointment was very cold, quiet, and very rushed. Baby was positioned out of view again, and within 2 min of scan was told we should be ok with our first pictures and can come back if we paid again. I tried to reposition and we were able to get a few photos of baby's face, not as good as the first ones. The tech was very quiet and seemed annoyed. We only got to see 2D and 3D, no 4D. And tech gave up pretty quickly once she got a handful of photos of the face (face was still mostly out of view). We both felt unwelcome and like it was a big hassle to rescan. Pretty awkward and not happy or exciting. Over all it was a mixed experience. Wished the atmosphere was a little warmer and inviting. read more

Walked in and was greeted by two girls. Asked what week I was in (14 weeks) and gave me the options for ultrasound packages they had. Great price $59 and i got lots of pictures of baby and the heartbeat along with measurements. They took me into this huge room with a giant screen I was able to watch while they preformed the ultrasound. Little one was super wiggly so they gave me advice on how to adjust and get him to calm down. After that they were able to get great photos of little man! They explained the umbilical cord and the different colors on the screen. They measured him, took his heart beat and we got to sit there watching him do gymnastics in there. Best part was we were able to watch as he wore himself out and we even caught him yawning himself back to sleep! Paid $40 for a pregnancy confirmation ultrasound at just before 6 weeks for the tech to do the scan externally. This is my 6th pregnancy and I have never had it done externally this early. The only way to see growth is from an internal ultrasound. The site should change their services from as early as 5 weeks to as early as 12 when a baby can be seen from an external ultrasound. I am currently upset and anxious as I have a history of 3 miscarriages. Update: the company called me back though I missed the call, they left a message informing me that they do offer transvaginal ultrasounds. I specifically asked the tech why she wasn't doing the transvaginal ultrasound and she said she could see more from the outside of my abdomen. She also was unaware that the pregnancy count begins from the first day of the last period. So the review is more for the tech and not the company. I hope she receives the training she needs. Immediately after I left, I went to the ER for cramping and found I am miscarrying. When booking, be sure to specify that they will be doing a transvaginal ultrasound if you are less than 10 weeks pregnant. read more

The screening room is set up to be a nice, intimate experience to share with whom ever you decide to bring along. I'm actually very disappointed. Came in for a peace of mind and did a baby heart beat package. According to their package online it says that you can hear baby's heart beat. We didn't get to hear anything and was just told that there was a heartbeat. When asked, she just said, didn't you see the flicker? Thats the heartbeat. I'm actually leaving more worried than I came and I think that is horrible. Will be going to another ultrasound place later today to hopefully get some peace of mind. What a waste of money. The technician was so sweet, really was helpful and kind! At first the baby was hiding it's private parts lol so she recommended I go for a walk and come back. rather than her just hurrying me and telling me to come back next week, she was patient and really helped. went to get my 5 week 5 day Ultrasound and quite honestly I was very upset about the service I received. I had my appointment at 12:30 pm and when I arrived someone else was also arriving for the same appointment time. I was told over the phone it would be 40 dollars for my service when I arrived I was charged 65 for the vaginal which was also what they stated was going to be 40 , upon entering the Ultrasound the lady seemed very rushed I was in there maybe 5 min if at all , I feel she didn't really look around , I have a retroverted uterus and wanted to be sure about how many sacks there were , when she finished after her 5 min she did say to me and my husband "easy money" I was very upset about the service it was rushed and to top it off they gave me 1 picture after charging me 65 what a rip off I will now have to go pay somewhere else hopefully someone has an opening for the weekend , we had this appointment as my birthday present since today was my birthday im so disappointed read more

UPDATING: After finding what appeared to be a PENIS at 20 weeks, we came BACK. We were told GIRL at 13 weeks. 2 techs stood in the room with us and at one angle, it appeared to be a girl. At another, a boy. They printed the "boy" shots. Never took ownership on their mistakes. Claimed they couldnt find documentation of my 13 week scan. The technician scratched her head and seemed to be confused and NOT CERTAIN, yet wrote "it's a boy" on the screen. Want a full blown panic attack, NO empathy and NO REFUND? Come on by! They shouldn't even OFFER 13 week gender scans unless they know what they're doing. As we left, one of the girls had the nerve to say: "Well, sort of congrats? On your... boy?" Had my toddler not been there, trust me. I would've handled it a LOT more aggressively. DISGUSTED with these people. read more

Although we were 37 weeks, the women here were still able to get some great pictures of the baby and did so professionally and skillfully. We just moved to the area and we previously loved our ultrasound place so having to go somewhere new was nerve wracking. Upon entering, it was soooo hot in their facility not sure if the air was broken or what, they had a fan going but it was still really warm. The woman who greeted us was not very warm and friendly so I immediately knew it wasn't going to be a good fit. If you're in the baby industry I feel like you should be excited and friendly. I learned she was new and in training when another woman entered the room and guided her. It was great to see our baby, but the experience overall was very dry and uncomfortable and I was totally disappointed with the quality of photos I was given compared to the other place I was going. read more
