The flight from Tampa to California was supposed to depart at 6am. The captain informed us around 6:15am that this is a new flight and they were not prepared for it. The flight has no fuel and it has limited beverages, no food to purchase or give to first class passengers, they were trying to stock up on ice and refreshments while all passengers are on board. The crew said that they couldn't even fuel the aircraft at the moment. United is VERY prepared to charge my card, but can't get their situation in order? It's currently 6:35am and still no departure, instead they let the passengers off of the aircraft so we can buy our own food and drinks for the flight. Which means, the delay is greater. First class treatment? ZERO. I'm absolutely appalled. If you're going to sell tickets and price them as expensive as you do, at least make sure that the flight is good to go when you board all passengers. Don't bother flying with this airline. What a joke. The flight departed at 7:15am. The did not resolve the food situation.

Each time I've flown with United, my flight has either been canceled, or severely delayed. I have never once felt like a priority by this airline or it's crew. I was scheduled to fly a returning flight from Tampa to Newark December 26th, 2022. My flight scheduled at 5:50am was canceled. The next flight would not leave TPA until 1:43pm. I was put on standby for this flight, and patiently waited for my seat. Only to be turned away and be pushed to yet another flight. This is not the first, offense I've had with United. The last time I flew to Tampa, for my grandfather's 80th birthday. My flight leaving JFK scheduled for 8:30pm, was delayed until 11:45pm. Not to mention this was a connecting flight, that then put me in a 4 hour layover in Atlanta. Not once have I felt like my schedule was a priority for United airlines. I do not pay a premium, to fly with a big airline with the expectation to be treated like this. I will NEVER fly with United again.

if I could give them 0 stars I would I traveled to San Francisco for the Comic Con and my roommate brought a limited edition Boba Fett blaster when I arrived at home from San Francisco the WOODEN prop that got signed in San Fran was completely snapped in two! Got into contact with United and they said that it wasn't covered and they weren't going to pay for the damage even though he was assured by the people nothing would happen too it and it had like 6 Please be fragile stickers and it was invaded in a protective foam.the worst part is the US Department of Transportation says that anything that is damaged in their care is covered! Dont FLY UNITED Unless you want them to break your stuff.

Very helpful staff and handsome steward ! Thank you for being so considerate especially with the current COVID situation

United is now in Terminal A. Which is now open.

I don't like airline travel so much these days, but If I have to, I'll fly. I was lucky enough to use the newer gate at Tampa, and was there for the grand opening of the new stores. They've done a lot of work. United is fine, The price was fair for my needs. I was not impressed, but It is what it is.

Flight extremely late. I know you can't control air traffic control. But why keep scheduling so many flights knowing this is a problem?

We sat there with an app status of boarding for over half an hour with no update. Boarded the plane and was met by a flight attendant named Eboni who had a scowl on her face. I asked her for a belt extender, she asked me how I was doing today while still scowling, I didn't think she heard me the first time because it was a bit loud entering the plane and she did not acknowledge my request. She snaps back at me and says I heard you the first time, I was asking how your day was, in an extremely snarky manner. She digs me out an extender and I head to my seat perturbed by the unnecessary situation. My family was in row 1 and my Wife and Aunt both needed extenders. We sat down, I asked if they requested theirs, they both said no and that they were afraid to after hearing the way the attendant talked to me. She eventually walks by and my aunt tells her she needs an extender. My wife still being intimidated didn't say anything. When the attendant came back by she started searching through an adjacent compartment and my aunt spoke up and told her we needed 2 extenders. The attendant stops, looks at her with her trademark scowl and says snarkily, I'm getting them right now. First off, we never requested 2 so how did she know we needed 2? Second off, she never acknowledges a request so how can anyone know if she heard and understood or not? She obviously had a chip on her shoulder about something, race, weight, or just having a bad day, I don't know but it was deplorable and absolutely uncalled for. She kept a scowl (and I don't mean a frown, I mean a look of disgust) on her face this entire trip except when she is on her cell phone (pretty much the entire flight) and when the pilot announced there would be no in flight service. Delayed flight, deplorable attitude and service from the attendant, plane was EXTREMELY hot even after her announcing for us to open our vents and that it should cool down in a moment, it never did, no in flight service even though they announced there would be, and on top of that, while we're all sweltering and parched, the other attendant steps to the drink area and cracks her open a drink. Could have at least had the decency to muffle the sound. Awful experience compared to other airlines I've flown (dozens of times) and even the first southwest flight of our round trip.

Tampa International Airport consistently demonstrates an exceptional level of operational proficiency. The architectural layout and passenger flow are remarkably intuitive, making the process of flying in and out genuinely simple and fast. When traveling with my husband and children, mitigating transit friction is paramount, and this facility fundamentally eliminates the typical stressors associated with modern air travel. Beyond their logistical prowess, I must commend their digital marketing strategy. Their social media postings are, quite frankly, hilarious. It is rare to see a transportation entity execute such a witty, engaging, and culturally resonant online brand. It reflects a high degree of organizational intelligence and a keen understanding of modern consumer engagement. Tampa International sets the premier standard for how an airport should operate, seamlessly merging frictionless travel with brilliant public relations. I honestly couldn't remember whether I had been through this airport before, but if I had, I certainly didn't remember it being this large. The layout took a little getting used to, especially with the tram ride to and from the rental car area, but everything was somewhat clearly marked and easy to navigate. The giant flamingo sculpture in the middle of the airport was impossible to miss and quickly became a favorite landmark for the kids. It's one of those unexpected touches that gives an airport a little personality. We also flew out of Tampa at the end of our trip, and the departure experience was smooth and stress-free. That's about the highest compliment I can give an airport when traveling with children. One minor downside: the Starbucks in our terminal was already sold out of quite a few food items and it wasn't even midday yet. Fortunately, we were able to grab sandwiches from Potbelly, which worked out just fine. Overall, Tampa International was clean, efficient, and much easier to navigate than many airports of a similar size. We'd be happy to fly through here again.

I've always wanted to fly breeze since it's 2020 arrival, but the smaller markets it flew into weren't that great. Fast-forward to 2025 when they've added so many more markets, including the teeny tiny Pensacola airport which I happen to go back to when I'm not abroad and not in Tampa (the parents live there, and I run Airbnb's out of there). When I got back to Pensacola from abroad in July, I flew my daughter up on breeze and she told me how great it was. On my first breeze flight, it was a brand new plane! A first great impression for a germaphobe pho like me. I'm a bag checker so I don't know how it is to fly with just a carry-on and I feel like the plan with a check bag and Wi-Fi is worth it. You get full Wi-Fi on the plane. Only Water was served for my #Short one hour flight so I'm not certain if they serve other snacks, but there is a paid menu. For now, I'm giving this airline a five star because it was a smooth, clean and comfy flight. I'll update when I can do a round trip and also fly to a different market. After I'm done with my Southwest points Breeze will be my first look. I just hope it keeps expanding and takes Southwest place since Southwest decided it would like to be just as average as every other airline these days. Breeze feels like a better version of what Southwest was when it first started as you do get to choose your seats! I hope they keep up the great service. I wrote an article on breeze Airways upon its inauguration and the CEO at least at the time it was the former CEO of JetBlue. I remember loving JetBlue then hating it so I hope it's due to the CEO understanding what customers really want.

The boarding process was smooth and organized. The seats on this flight were much tighter than the plane from Detroit, I believe this plane was an Air Bus but not sure about this. The plane was jam packed, every seat full. Three seat on each side, narrow aisle where people going passed would bump into you. This is the first time I've flown in quite some time and I do not remember planes being this cramped. We left the gate on time but sat on the runway forever, apparently there was only one runway open so there was a huge line of planes waiting to take off. They informed everyone that some flyers may not make their connecting flights in Detroit. Once we got going the flight was very smooth and there was no delay in landing. I had a fine experience with Frontier, booked my flight 3 months in advance and no delays or time changes at all - I was pleasantly surprised as Spirit will always have some kind of delays or time changes.
