Opening multiple the CDs was easy as well as cashing them out upon maturity. When I opened my CDs they had the highest rates in the area and are always very competitive. I got a whopping 5.6% on my CD's last year & had absolutely no problem. The only thing I wish would change is that Forbright doesn't match other banks posted rates, and they're not open on Saturday. I had to take my money to another bank when mine matured because Forbright refused to match another local banks higher CD rate. I'm quite surprised they wouldn't, because I would have preferred to stay with Forbright because I appreciated the very professional service from Rita. Not offering Saturday hours or late hrs. on Friday is inconvenient for people who work Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00. Forbright does offer the option to open an account online, but I'm just the kind of person that prefers to do things in person. I hope the Forbright Bank President/CEO reads this and can make some positive changes for extended hours!

Since it's a newly opened branch the staff had to check with others in the back often to ask questions but were really friendly about it and prompt. I am giving them one star because we drove a good ways to come down to this bank to take care of some items to only find out they weren't done correctly and we were called to come back in. Now there are fewer transactions displaying at one time, they show all the details which I don't need unless I have a question, and make me hunt to see all my pending transactions. This morning it looked like $2600 went missing. The large fonts they use are probably nice for people with visual problems, but it is just too much work to find my information. I am going to change banks, which is a huge pain, but that's how bad this new format is.
