Food is amazing clean too but the hibachi server I had was very rude got mad because I accidentally spilled rice and didn't ask what sauce I wanted just put whatever he wanted too! But the food was good tho

Came on a night when the food was pretty decent. The fellas enjoyed themselves here. Still wish they had kept to the original menu they had when they first opened. Not a bad place to get your Chinese food fix, and as I mentioned before, surprisingly their American dishes are much better than other Chinese buffets.

Nasty lady who is angry all the time and rude .

This is an updated review . The workers are nasty and attitudish . The one lady she waited til my mom and I sat down to refill the napkins. She reached across my mom and didn't say excuse me . Then she took her time to come clean up the dirty plates . She's nasty slamming things and expecting tips . She sent her coworker over to get tips to be slick because she knew she was getting nothing . Also she is usually the one who does the least work and takes the tips . There are workers who bust their ass for tips and she comes over and steals them . I won't be coming back again because they turn their nose up at black people but it's like if it wasn't for blacks you wouldn't have business because that's who buys from you . It's also not that clean . Why would you use the rag you wiped the seat with to wipe the table ? This place is a joke .

Came here on Sunday, October 2 2022 at 12:50 PM and was seated immediately. The wait wasn't long, there was only one in front of us. We pay first before we eat. It was $60 for three people including tip but not including drinks. We did not get any drinks. The food was hot and ready. It was extremely crowded. They have a wide variety of foods but I was disappointed when I did not see any sushi. Seats were in a tight spot so it was hard getting in and out. All in all, I would say this place is alright. Staff members are nice and there's a parking lot in the front.

Okay so to be honest I'm shocked. Overall I had a great experience. Nice flow of people (not overly packed). Fresh food was kept on rotation. Plenty of dining options as well. Some minor complaints would be the beverages; I started with sprite however it tasted like dirty water so I figured the ice cubes had been made with faucet water and ordered a different one with no ice still the flavors seemed just as off. I was able to exchange for a pink lemonade which was actually pretty good The bathroom was rather spacious high ceilings and bright lightening however was in need of a slight cleaning. Also I didn't like that there was only the hand dryer and no paper towels. The cocktail shrimp weren't that great you don't expect much with cocktail shrimp and these even fell under expectations. Also I couldn't locate cocktail sauce. But the whole cooked shrimp where AWESOME No complaints. Next was the crawfish honestly didn't taste them they where to small honestly to enjoy opened them to more insides very to hardly any actual meat in them. The prime rib was rather dry. With that being said I got the pieces that had been sitting in the juice and boy was it good that juice was so flavorful The pork rib was okay ( only got it because my friend kept saying they where delicious) The Korean short bbq rib was killer so tender (I took that and put the prime rib juices on it yummy) And that seafood baked cheesy thing I mean duh right The fruit was a no go for me seemed like it was soaked in water to keep it from going bad or being dry not sure but I couldn't stomach it. The ice cream was ice cream really didn't taste like chocolate ice cream but the fondue sauce made up for it. Service was ehh. The waitress while she wasn't rude she clearly would have rather be else where (which I get is understandable) however as a customer she kinda made me feel rushed even bringing the fortune cookies while I was still eating and then when I was done she was like you finished, I said yes think you. Her reply was yea as she grabbed the plate (as of to say bout time ). My friend left his phone as well they claim they didn't find it or see it when went out and came right back in for it With that being said I've been thinking about going back all week and I will this weekend spent 35$ for two adults and two drinks I'm satisfied money spent well They had a wide selection of foods I didn't try like chicken fried bbq sautéed Salmon fried catfish trout crabs A Hibachi grill a poke bar Salad bar Pizza mash potatoes Mac and cheese even lo mein

Their potato skin stuffed with ham and corn was my favorite

A new player in town. This buffet used to be Old Country. The place is very clean and the food fresh. Of course, while reviewing a buffet I cannot hold it to a regular restaurant's standard, so in my opinion, no buffet really reach a five star. However, I will give them an extra star to get their business kicking because I really enjoyed my experience here. I judge buffets based on three things: the quality of food, price and cleanliness. The food here seem to be very fresh and they continue to restock them very often, keeping things hot and abundant. The price is very fair, lunch is especially cheap at around $8 and that includes the grill. Drinks are not included in the price so you're looking at another $2. Like I've mentioned, the place is very clean. I do hope they keep this up. Overall, this was a solid buffet and very conveniently located next to businesses like Walmart and Home Depot. My parents had dinner there and they also said their seafood selection was super fresh. Come by and check out the new business. I will be back soon to check on them and maybe update my review.

I got dinner here recently after not coming for a while and was reminded just how good it is. Really delicious, authentic, and affordable Northern Chinese food - my mom is from that region and always asks to come here whenever she visits. The noodle portions are huge and expertly hand-crafted and cooked for the perfect bouncy chewy texture. The dumplings are also lowkey the best in Chinatown, with a thicker chewy skin characteristic of Northern-style dumplings, a juicy filling bursting with flavor, and a perfect sweet soy sauce dip on the side. Service is quick and friendly, with the servers able to accommodate both Chinese and English speakers and happy to give recommendations. Favorites were the pork kidney blossoms, the chongqing spicy chicken, the steamed sea bass with ginger, the sea bass in chili broth. Those were so good I'd get them again in a heartbeat; but I also feel like this is the kind of place where you can just randomly pick from the menu and you can't go wrong. On the flipside, because those dishes up there were so good, I actually thought the cold sesame noodles were just alright. They use a thinner more delicate noodle here that makes it much more sauce forward, but I feel I'm partial to thicker chewier noodles with spicy food. I want to stress that the noodles were tasty, but again, out of an excellent tasting menu we built for ourselves, it was the plain Jane of the bunch. Beyond that, they have some tasty baizhou (spelling?) that'll get you wasted while enjoying the food. Highly recommend you go with a large group. If you go with less than four people you will have food envy from all the tables who are sharing amazing dishes that your stomach just doesn't have room for.

(Note: if you only want smaller serving of their great, thick noodles, order $4 add-on as a side in place of rice with regular dish.) I always have leftovers to enjoy at home. Dumpling orders are large and shareable. (Always 6 or 8 pieces.) My fave when dining in is amazingly delicious and huge Fish Fillet in Hot and Sour Cabbage Broth. (That's best with rice side to help absorb broth.) So good and healthful to balance the dough density of whatever dumplings you might also order -- they're all great. The non-Asian bartender took our orders and seemed very helpful at first, but then completely disappeared, leaving us to fetch our own silverware and water at our own volition. He also informed us that, yes, indeed, they have the Sichuan peppercorns like so many other restaurants, yet like so many other places, they failed to give them to us. There was, however, an aromatic presence given off by what appeared to be black cumin flakes in our cumin lamb. Had they put actual Chinese peppercorns in the dish, it might have balanced out the heavy cumin, which I tasted in my mouth hours after the meal. Ginger and a ton of garlic, both of which I associate with this cuisine, also would have been nice. I imagine the owner, once hyper declarative as to the authenticity of his restaurant, has a brand these days: a decent Sichuan sports bar catering the food for an American palette.....even their 3 Cups chicken is 'bone off'. I can not say I saw many Asian people dining here; perhaps they know better and just head on over to EMei in Chinatown. We also had the string beans with ground pork; they had the proper blistered look from being dry-fried, though the dish ended up a bit greasy and lacked the distinctive punch of preserved mustard greens and robust aromatics. All in all, we enjoyed the food, but the bartender abandoning us while helping himself to a twenty percent tip, combined with the lack of authenticity, is not enough to impress.
