All US United Clubs are pretty similar on food offerings! There are some minor exceptions like Newark airport that offers a bit more and a coffee bar that provides Matcha! So the true differences in clubs are service, cleanliness, and seating offerings! Always best to go to clubs first thing in the morning when they are still clean! The Portland Club is small! I'm actually shocked they have a club as United flights to Portland are pretty limited! You will find this club on the second floor by the United gates. There are stairs or you can take the elevator to the second floor! Once you enter the club you will find comfy lounge seats and a few seats at the bar. The lounge overlooks three run way. The wait staff are pretty friendly! Especially the gentleman at the bar! As mentioned in other lounge reviews: the food is just ok! At breakfast they had various breads, oatmeal, pre made tiny omelets, cheese and more! Plus a coffee station and juice can be requested at the bar! The club was clean and service was good! Food was average to sub average like other clubs! As early in the morning, before 8am, plenty of seating.

This was my first experience with Portland's United Club. It was a mixed bag for sure. The elegant entrance leads you by elevator or a spiral staircase to the club. The offer an inviting aesthetic with limited seating and food options. It was early in the day so it wasn't crowded. Not sure what it would be like during prime time. I was shocked they had dated, dirty chairs that looked like they came from an old used furniture store's going out of business. They were THAT bad and without any padding. See attached photo.

The United Club Portland is one of the old school clubs with the beige seats. While old it was not in bad shape and I was happy to see it was not overcrowded. The food selection is less than a hub club. Staff were friendly and you get a fun runway view.

The club has a nice view and hours are long. But the food options are very very limited. Most of the drinks are chargeable as well. If you have club pass then check it out otherwise a hard pass if you are spending 59$ to get in!

Lovely, laid back United Club Lounge at the PDX Airport. This is a higher-tier class lounge as you must be first class or business, but you can get a one day ticket for a price. Must be flying in United airline to get in. This club is considered a buffet style, as it's small food items but at least something to munch on. There is also a bar that serves only beer and wine (OLCC law); some drinks are complimentary and others are premium to pay for. This lounge has the best view in the airport of the runway especially at sunrise- bright with windows wrapped all the way around. Very Quiet, does get busy with delays or on a Sunday afternoon. They are coming back from being closed due to Covid but are back and better then ever. Agents are nice too.

Surprised to find a club at this United out station. The hours are long too opening from 4:30 am to 11 pm. The place is tiny with standard furnishing. Electric outlets are plentiful. Nice view of the apron from the tall windows extending the entire length of the sitting area. Food offering is one plain pasta in red sauce, one soup, one sandwich, salad bar and finger foods. Essentially nothing is complimentary at the bar. There is one house red, 3 house taps (Bud, Coors Light, Samuel Boston lager) and everything else is premium charged at airport prices. This lounge is ok if you have a membership. It is absolutely not worth paying $59 for a single visit.

These days it is hard to find a United Club that is not overrun by people. This one was an exception on my visit. The Club had all the "normal" food items and drink. Staff were pleasant and helpful. You had a chance to relax and that is all you really need pre-flight.

One of the small lounges by united but ok. Its not one of their big hubs so not surprising. The staff here were attentive and welcoming. The food options were so so but the seating and view here was good. During my visit it was not crowded and chill which was nice. If you have united, its a nice quick getaway from the main part of the airport

Great staff. Great runway north view. Best club at PDX when compared to the other offers (DL / AS and premium plaza)

I really liked my experience here for a few reasons. It is less busy so quieter. 3 areas of seating with lots of outlets. There is an business area if you need to print something or work on your laptop. I like the extra touches on the food and drink options. I like that they had a lot of fresh fruit (the other lounge usually runs out so disappointment for my kiddos), vegetarian sausage for the hot breakfast line up, and my favorite chia seed pudding as well as oatmeal, cereals, hard boiled eggs, cheeses and wide selection of baked goods. They had fresh fruit and mint for the lemonade, various Rishi tea options and candied ginger to upgrade your tumeric ginger tea. The decor is not as modern compared to all the renovated areas of PDX as mentioned by another review. However I would definitely come back if I am travelling with Delta. Thank you to the morning crew of this lounge for making my early morning flight experience a great one.

I'm an able bodied looking person and after deplaning, I asked the Alaska gate agent for wheelchair assistance. She said she would call for someone. 20 minutes later, one guy come but there are two of us that need wheelchairs. The guy stops at me first, but then goes to the less looking tabled body person and takes them. After another 20-30 minutes, I ask the Alaska gate agent to call again. Meanwhile I see several people pushing empty wheelchairs. The gate agent refuses to call again, saying she did twice. I asked if I'm just supposed to wait hours and she shrugged her shoulders. I was left in a hard place. Not only is walking long distances painful for me - but adding weight by carrying my luggage makes it harder. After getting myself together, I start the walk. I went to Alaska customer service. On the way I see at least 3 people with wheelchairs sitting and talking. The lead that comes up was rude. She said "I'm sorry you made it all the way up here with no wheelchair." If I didn't mind being on a do not fly list, I would have spoken up for myself, but instead, I left. Shame on you PDX and Alaska!

You can absolutely smell the fish and vinegar as soon as you walk through the door, which I think gives the place a very homey pub feel. I ordered a spiked peach Arnold Palmer, which I enjoyed (and it was pleasantly strong) and a glass of the house white, which was good for the price. Our server was very fast and attentive. To eat I got the tomato soup with a grilled cheese, which was absolutely fantastic. The soup was so creamy and flavorful, and I cannot imagine a better meal after spending all day walking outside in the rain. The fries were super crispy and I liked the batter. My partner and I shared some of their breadsticks, which were deliciously baked (fresh!) and came with a super refreshing basil crema and a nice tomato-y dip. Wonderful all. My partner ordered fish and chips, and was surprised to find that it is one large fillet of fish, not multiple pieces like you would typically expect. He said the fish was fine, but a little tough. Overall, a wonderful experience. I definitely hope to return. I highly recommend this place as a refuge during the cold winter months!

So I checked out the Hyatt website and found out that you can exchange Hyatt points for dining and I could use the points to pay for a meal at this hotel. I stopped by the spoke and Fork patio and had a really lovely vegan lunch. The beyond burger was extremely ample and had lots of good toppings and the salad that it came with also was really ample. I had my heart set on trying the Mapo tofu, but unfortunately, it was only available for dinner. Now that I have been here, I know that this would be a great spot to of course stop by before a show or event at the moda center. I'm sure it gets busier on those days but on a casual lunch date, I got to treat myself, enjoy a free meal, and get introduced to a new little spot to come hang out before a show or event. The atmosphere is modern and the rooms are reasonably spacious, though a little small for bathroom space. The views of the city are also pretty cool, depending on which side you're on. Our room had a great evening skyline view. A note with this property is their "fridges". They have a "beverage chiller" in the spot where a fridge would go in a regular hotel situation, however it only somewhat cools. When we called, they mentioned this isn't a real fridge and we could pay $45 to get a fridge that keeps things cold. If you didn't look closely, it's hard to notice the difference and any food you have in this beverage chiller would spoil. Once I called and heard about the fee, it felt like a tactic to add charges. Based on this, I wouldn't stay here again both because of the lack of convenience of not having a fridge in this level of hotel and not wanting to pay $45 to have access to this. That part is a shame because the rest of the hotel is clean and modern and the location on the east side is great!
