Nice lounge tucked away and accessed by elevator or stairs to the left. This was my 1st at this Delta Sky Club as I normally go to the Escape. I really liked my experience here for a few reasons. It is less busy so quieter. 3 areas of seating with lots of outlets. There is an business area if you need to print something or work on your laptop. I like the extra touches on the food and drink options. I like that they had a lot of fresh fruit (the other lounge usually runs out so disappointment for my kiddos), vegetarian sausage for the hot breakfast line up, and my favorite chia seed pudding as well as oatmeal, cereals, hard boiled eggs, cheeses and wide selection of baked goods. They had fresh fruit and mint for the lemonade, various Rishi tea options and candied ginger to upgrade your tumeric ginger tea. The decor is not as modern compared to all the renovated areas of PDX as mentioned by another review. However I would definitely come back if I am travelling with Delta. My first time flying Delta and it was going from Portland, Oregon to Seattle, Washington. Even though it was a quick flight ours had the Delta Sky Club with it. Walked into this lounge and it was clean, organized and the staff was pretty friendly and knowledgeable. Food-wise could be improved but I don't expect much from an American-style lounge. The food was just ok, had some cold cuts, cold sandwiches, and cold pasta salads. I would say there is always room for improvement in the food! But it's ok. read more

I enjoyed the Delta Sky Club at Portland International Airport (PDX). There's only one Delta Sky Club at PDX. It's in Concourse D nearest Gate D7. Take the elevator or stairs up from Level 2 to Level M. We visited on a Sunday from around 9:45am to 11:00am. When we arrived, the elevator was down. A Delta employee directed people to take the stairs. It was a bit inconvenient since we had roller bags, but not a big deal. If I recall correctly, the elevator was working by the time we left. I think we chose to just take the stairs again. During our visit, the lounge was quite busy with most, if not all, seats taken at one point. The men's restroom seemed small for the club's capacity. I wanted to use the bathroom before leaving the club and boarding our flight. However, when I went, all of the stalls were taken. Oh well. When we visited, they switched the buffet from breakfast to lunch, so we got to enjoy both menus. Haha. For breakfast, I had oatmeal with toppings and fruit (honeydew and pineapple) with a hot latte. The fruit wasn't very ripe, but no different from what you might get from a cut-fruit bowl at a grocery store. For lunch, I had a chicken salad sandwich, broccoli salad, Mediterranean food (peppers, pickles, and pita with hummus and a roasted red pepper dip), and a salted caramel and strawberry parfait (I think that's what it was) with Diet Coke. The food was satisfying and fresh. Standard stuff. The dessert was perhaps the exceptional item. It was quite good. This Delta Sky Club has a neat view over the central walkway of Concourse D. It's situated above the bustling retail and food court area. Only a limited number of seats get to enjoy the view. The club has at least a couple of different main seating areas with a few breakout rooms. My seat was comfy and I enjoyed the cushy lounge vibe. The employees, from the greeters to the food service staff, were polite. The Wi-Fi connection and speed were decent. read more

My wife and I took a trip to Portland and my wife had a meeting she had to go to right when we landed. The lounge had a great business area setup and she was able to get to her meeting. The food had the typical stuff, but the did have some nice bbq chicken and a great charcuterie board with various meats and cheeses. Is this the BEST Delta lounge of all the Delta lounges in all the world? No. Not even close. Is it my FAVORITE? Honestly, a little bit yes. There's some hometown pride influencing that decision - most Delta lounges have a mix of whatever-city-you're-in locals, a smattering of folks on long layovers, and then just general riffraffery. BUT: The Portland Delta lounge is nearly 100% hometown PDX locals. No one lays over in Portland. It's a hub to nowhere. Almost everyone in the lounge has just come, bright-eyed and bushy tailed, from their very own domicile, and is headed out to The Big Wide World (mostly Seattle, LAX, or SLC TBH, and then on to Parts Unknown). I just love copping a squat in the PDX Delta Lounge and listening to Nike employees on conference calls talking about retail design that one day soon I'll see on the feet of assorted overgrown adolescents, smiling at old couples wearing "tactical pants" excited to go on their vacation to Tulum or Portland-style ladies in wide-toed clogs and flowy jewel-toned caftans, and the occasional cluster of North Face-wearing weirdos. What I'm saying is: My love for the PDX sky club is inextricably linked with my love for my beautiful, flawed, perfect, and wonderful city. I have been coming here for SO MANY years that I recognize everyone at the front desk. I know the guy that walks around asking everyone if they need anything. I know enough not to order a drink at the bar (if you want to get crunk, do it somewhere where the booze is not... terrible), I know their schedule of when they switch over from breakfast to lunch, I remember the lounge before they expanded it (a much needed expansion, but still not "too much"!) and I have a few "favorite places to sit". I know where they keep the hand lotion in the ladies' room and I know which direction to turn if I want a view of planes taking off vs a view of the concourse below. I've taken umpteen time-lapse videos of both. The lounge is great. The Portland airport is great, but I love this lounge so much that I regularly choose to hang out in here INSTEAD OF in the wide world of the PDX airport (which again, is EXCELLENT and full of so many wonderful wares and comestibles) because it is my comfy womfy airport happy place. Plugs galore, friendly staff, friendly clientele (but not TOO friendly - people keep to themselves as they oughta), and oodles of old-school charm. It's not run-down, but it hasn't been bells-and-whistles upgraded to within an inch of its life like some other lounges we know of. The PDX Delta lounge is function over form, but the form is a solid performer as well. In any case - if you're a Delta frequent flier, don't sleep on the lounge. Or hey - sleep IN the lounge! Just keep your feet of the furniture, you animal, and don't miss your flight! read more

The Delta Sky Club at PDX is a cozy but decent version of where you're find a tiny bar, a little buffet section but a pretty good amount of seating. Breakfast was fine and what you'd find at any typical lounge. Bar service is nice and people are nice. There's also a good amount of chargers across the lounge seating. The Portland Sky Club is not a big lounge like JFK, Atlanta or Seattle; however, this is my only stop before a flight out of Portland Airport. I've been there when it's busy, there when it's slow. Their friendly service is just the same.  When it's slow, the bartender walked the lounge to see if he could bring drinks out to us. If there's a line at the bar, it moves quick.  I like the buffet of hot and cold food options. Plus, dessert. Sometimes staff will offer guests desserts that are not on the buffet. I'm still thinking of that lemon bar.  Great place to relax before your flight. read more

Every time I come here, the staff are always attentive, my flight was delayed today and they reminded me of when I needed to head to my terminal. Terry has been here forever and he's always so nice to every guest, making sure we're doing okay. It's always such a treat when I get time to enjoy this lounge. read more

Wednesday 01.18.23 at 7:30 am Portland is my home airport and I'm glad that I can visit Delta Sky Lounge when I travel. This is an intimate and charming lounge. Enter through Concourse D and follow your way to the terminal. The lounge will be on your right side. A sleek elevator will take you downstairs to a quiet and cozy place. A guest pass is $39.00 per person. Breakfast was ok. There was yogurt, eggs, potatoes, and pork/vegan sausages. There was also an assortment of cheese and soups. I ordered an old fashioned and was stiff and strong. The bar was also equipped with self serving Starbucks coffee. The coffee was fantastic and brewed fresh. The Portland SkyClub has the best team working here. This is the only lounge I've been to where a team member will offer a tray of desserts, rum, and treats. I seriously had the best chocolate tart I've had in my life. Nice thin crispy crust with a rich and decadent custard. Overall, Portland sky club is amazing. Losing a star because I was here on a Wednesday afternoon and the place was packed! I mean packed! Delta is trying to put in all these time and flight regulations to help this, but if you ask me it's just pissing off the people who pay for membership. If they are going to place restrictions, Delta should do it on those who get free access (i.e. credit card membership or spending). Giving these people free membership is bullcrap! If these people have so much money, let them buy a membership to the club and they won't get shut out (IMHO)! So loss of 1 star for poor regulations! read more

They have a good selection of a little bit of everything and I've always enjoyed everything I've tried. From sandwiches to soups to pastries or sauteed vegetables and meat, the food is seriously so good! On one of my last visits it was suuuuuper empty and I ended up having a really nice conversation with one of the servers and the bartender had lots of bad (good) jokes too. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and the lounge makes the airport suck way less....... Might even almost be enjoyable hahaha If you want a little retreat from the chaos of flying and the world come check this spot out if you can. read more

This was my first visit to this Delta Skyclub in the D terminal at Portland International Airport. It's smaller compared to larger hub Airport but it's well arranged and the 2nd floor has a view of the D terminal below. The food and beverages are excellent and the bathrooms are well maintained The reception area is fully staffed and efficient. There are plenty of electrical outlets and individual to group tables. This is a nice place to wait out for your transfer. read more

This is a basic and no frills small lounge and which is located on the second of floor of terminal D between gates D5 and D7. The elevator was broken at the time of our visit so they stationed a representative by the entrance to assist passengers with luggage. We received a welcome amenity kit upon entry. The lounge itself is small compared to the Seattle Centurion lounge. They don't have showers in this location. They do have the standard light snacks, alcohol drinks, coffee, water, etc. Seating area has an open layout design however low ceilings and limited window views. Noise is prevalent especially when the lounge is more than half full. Only a small section of the lounge has direct access to sunlight and views of the runway. Seating can be limited especially during peak times. Service was almost non-existent and dishes did start to pile up on some of the side tables. Not sure this is exactly worth the $29 per person. read more

Even though this club is probably the smallest one Ive ever been to, almost all of the amenities are here. The bar only serves beer and wine. The beers are good local ones! The food bar is always well stocked. I do wish there was some local flair and flavor. Eating the same hummus and carrots gets old after a while. The desk clerks are very kind, patient, and just plain amazing. They have gotten me rebooked and on to alternative flights quickly and seamlessly. I love having a desk, good wifi, and chill atmosphere before heading to my next adventure. read more

I love the PDX sky club because it's small and rarely crowed. Now I don't fly on a monthly basis so I'm not the best judge on the crowded scene. But each time on there it's pretty chilled. I suppose the larger Delta Clubs have spoiled me. This lounge was quite small and cramped. We were greeted when we arrived and asked if we had been there before. After we said "no", I assumed we would be told the layout of the lounge. Nope. It was small, so it was self explanatory once we were checked in. The layout had chairs very close together to where you felt claustrophobic. Typical breakfast food, with a variety of bakery items and cereal. It's a decent little lounge with a pretty good breakfast. I stopped by around 6 in the morning for an early flight and there weren't too many people. We stayed about 4 hours until our flight and it flew by! They had a macaroni and cheese bar that was delicious! The bar had beer and wine all included. Disregard previous reviews. This club is excellent. It's small but ample room to move around. And on a Thursday night - it is so quiet. Awesome. The new menu just debuted and it is excellent. I enjoyed Italian Wedding Soup, a wonderful mixed greens salad with celery sticks and vinaigrette dressing. All very good. They have other items - popcorn, broccoli, carrot sticks, cookies (3 different types it appears). To drink - beer wine and liquor as well as soda and water. Also, bananas on the bar. Highest marks. Only knock - wish they had a dark beer but heck, it's not a craft beer pub! read more

Was here (PDX Sky Club) for hours awaiting plane after rebook. Every minute of every hour that i saw staff they were gracious, friendly, attentive, respectful, super helpful and utterly kind. Nicest Sky Club I've ever been in and I am a regular visitor all over. The food was great (huli huli chicken and pineapple fried rice, lots of fruit and vegetables available, options for vegan and gluten free, great tea and coffee and juice), everything I ate and drank was terrific. I was so moved by the staff and the manager conscientiously checking on all with pride and kindness and joyful happiness to share. Clean, well-stocked, and all around wonderful. This place made a great difference to me at a time I needed to witness the good in people and in coincidental life. Kudos! Big fan here! Thank you for treating us all so generously great! read more

It's your typical Sky Club with the big exception that it ONLY serves wine and beer, which is a huge let down. The club is on the smaller side, but it serves it's purpose for Delta's presence at PDX. There are limited number of power cords in the club when compared to how many people are in need of them. One of the highlights of the club is that it overlooks the concourse, so if you get a seat by the window, you can pass the time by people watching. This club is also open late, as in till 1 am, which is when the red-eyes depart. For whatever reason, it seems like they have changed the furniture since I've last been here, maybe in the past year and half. I doesn't seem to be as comfortable as I remember it being. read more
