The reviews were attractive and an actual person answered my call. We were given a commitment for someone to come during a certain time frame TODAY, and they were able to get to our house earlier. Jay was our service technician and he was thorough, professional, knowledgeable and most of all kind. He was able to explain what he would be doing to diagnose our AC situation. After diagnosis, he explained what needed to be done and got right to work. We started to feel the house cooling soon after he got to work. After completion of that, he further explained what helped and what did not work. We knew our 22-year old AC units were at risk and with Jay's expertise, we trusted that the best thing was to replace one of the units. Jay was able to call his supervisor and work out a final price for a new unit and we were pleased. It was a pleasure to work with Jay. We will have our new unit installed tomorrow, so I will come back and update my review with some final words on how service and installation were completed. Thank you, Air Done Right!

They do have polite people and do decent work but I did not have a good experience with their repair business. An annual inspection turned up a couple of small problems - low refrigerant in a system and a nearly failed condenser fan in another. No argument with that conclusion so I said go ahead with fixes. Got the invoice and should have paid more attention - a price gouge of epic proportions. Here's what I sent them that got rejected by their system: PS - registered professional engineer who should have paid more attention. 'I was not here when this work was finished, and I have no issue at all with the technician and work performed. He was professional. I agreed to all of the work. But I regret now not doing additional homework on the cost. A one pound 410a add should cost more like $100 at the high end all in. Easy to find on google or Yelp), given you can get a 25 lb Jug in the range of $250. And yes, there is labor and overhead in that , but for for a 30 minute job $325 seems excessive. I also was able to source the replacement fan motor with an identical Lennox model# from a number of sources- from around $200. Again, that doesn't include labor. So if I'm generous, you got $300 in parts, add 20% for miscellaneous. And yes, I get that there is 'Bob's guarantee' and you have overhead, but an 1800+ bill for less than two labor hours of work, make it 3 with travel time and even at 150 per hour - and maybe 450 in parts and material -the total markup at 2x is to me excessive. Plus your billing is deficient in the level of detail so it's even hard to understand how you could add it up to that much. My wife paid the bill of course, but with these prices even though the service is good I won't be using or recommending Bobs for repairs in the future. I'll do my homework.' PS - last postscript. You may have noticed Bob's no longer responds to Yelp reviews. Must be too busy. Or they don't care. Neither one is a good sign.

He showed up exactly on time, walked me through what he was doing, and explained how the system works instead of just rushing through the job. The dryer duct alone had some massive lint buildup from years of accumulation. Watching what he pulled out of there made me realize how overdue the cleaning was. What really stood out was that he didn't just clean and leave. He tested everything afterward, checked connections, tightened a few things that were loose, and made sure the airflow was right before wrapping up. That extra attention to detail is rare. As a result, the system was not performing properly. There was a leak in refrigerant, was short cycling and wound internally shut off, and was not configured properly for zoned system. The existing system was installed when we purchased this house new in 2018 but was contractor grade. Ryan provided a couple of solutions but decided to replace. Very good price for a better quality system. The install techs, Roger and Dom, completed the install today. Very professional and went extra to be sure zone system was functioning properly. Definitely made the right choice.
