After doing research with other rental truck outfits, Penske stood out as the winner. The mgr was…read moreable to give us great rates, trucks were new and in great shape. Fully discussed what would happen if it were to break down, etc. Pick up went smoothly, nice 12 ft truck, clean. The cab interior smelled like bug spray, advised it was a disinfectant they use in between rentals. Good that they clean but had to air the front out. 2 bucket seats so we had to set up a little bed in between the seats for our dog. Relatively comfortable for all. Lots of cubby holes for everything from sun glasses to munchies. Air conditioner worked well, large gas tank so didn't have to make a lot of fill-up stops. The truck rode nice & smooth. A 12 ft truck holds a lot!! They were able to rent us blankets for about $1 apiece, even had misc locks, etc. We took it 1 way to Washington, drop off was just as easy. We'll use them for all our moving. They made it reasonable & easy. We'll use their moving man service on each end for the final move tho, let them do the heavy lifting!

He was all about service just a good person to meet and deal with. I was not surprised since he told me he had been there since the 1980s, that's something that you don't find these days, the value was great. The truck was in perfect condition, and got what I needed done and the service was fantastic. Thank you very much.

There truly isn't enough wonderful things to say about these guys!…read more Matt you're a super human keep up the great spirit! Matt, Rob, Tyler and the whole staff are truly amazing. IT goes beyond customer service, these gentleman treat you like friends. I am truly surprised that an industrial tool rental has such friendly and caring folks. You expect a bit more rougher service in a place like this. I go in with a load of questions and these gentleman are patient and caring, truly THANK YOU to the whole staff. My young boys walk around looking at tools and have a blast, they are made welcome by the staff..

It seems that Robert the manager runs hot and cold. I rented a material lift and he immediately…read morestarted an animated lecture about keeping the load real--REAL close to the column and super well centered because otherwise it would damage the aluminum column. This sounded like a setup to charge for damage. Upon returning, he seemed like his was about to do just that until he decided not to after I pointed out that he had not looked for the aluminum shavings when I rented it hours before. The lift, which he swore was a Genie, was a Liftsmart that weighs twice that of the Genie and with less capacity. A lot of heavy iron and no provision for managing the wear on the nested aluminum column rails. The thing is a hunk of junk. Not nearly Genie quality. Then somehow we got off topic when he said that Cresco was owned by Caterpillar. Really? That's weird I said. Oh yeah, he said, Peterson Caterpillar. When I explained the difference between a franchise dealer and the manufacturer, he was uninterested in whatever an uninformed, dim-witted customer had to say. He's been in the rental business for 26 years, and so he knows what a bunch of liars and abusers his customers are, every dang one of 'em including me. I'll shop elsewhere next time.
