13 people in line in front of me. 5 behind me. One clerk. Also, this place is hot and stinky.

I don't find this US Postal Service location much different than any of the other in the ATL. I believe one of the reasons most of the USPS locations get a bad rating is because they always seem to be understaffed and ultimately the employees have lackluster performance and poor demeanor. It is especially frustrating when going between 12-2pm and only one employee is assisting customers. I've been to numerous locations throughout the ATL and this is not an anomaly. One last word of advise, if you need to get a passport, call ahead; otherwise you will have to wait and inordinate amount of time or even be asked to come back the next business day.

Convenient to my work. Lately, most of my experiences have been to drop off items that already had postage applied. They typically have a cart out that you can just drop off such packages. Great!!! Saves me so much time. Lines can be long. I try to avoid the lunch hour. The staff I have dealt with have been decent.

Their sign and website says they open at 9:00am but they were still not open at 9:48 am.

No one ever answer the phone. Once inside the post office, there are pieces of the ceiling missing exposing leaky pipes.

When I returned the other employee Angela W. informed me that I was missing information from my box of certified mailing. She kindly asked that I returned by 4:15P to get my mailings processed before the 5:30P pick-up as they close at 5P. I sat in my truck & applied 145 labels to the confirmation receipts that need to be scanned & postmarked. I returned at 4P & Angela & I (via the window guard) organized & processed all 145 letters. By the time we were finished, it was 5:20P & with no help from her colleague who was available intermittently. Which turned out a be positive as the colleague was discourteous with customers...people ask questions for guidance, not to be chastised. Nonetheless, Angela was cool as a cucumber, cordial & helpful during my 1.5-hour visit. Not once did she get ruffled nor try to rush the process, only stated once the doors were locked that we had a certain amount of time to meet the truck. If you have time to wait to be serviced by Angela, it will be worth it.

Where to begin: -The…read moreself-service kiosk doesn't work half the time I'm there. -Staff at front desk are always rude. For example: I went in on Jan 19th, 2023 to mail something. After grabbing an envelope, I was told by one of the clerks, "Hey! Stand on the other side to write out the address! We don't need you to be blocking other customers," then proceeded to say in a lower voice that I hear, "People just can't understand basic directions!" The irony was that no other customers came through during that time and the other guy filling out a label gave me this look of "WTH is up with him." The other clerk was nice, thankfully. -Might not hurt to invest in a cleaning service of some kind as the overall inside felt and looked unclean. -Definitely need to invest in making sure that trash and other garbage is picked up in the parking lot. It wasn't a great look to see garbage in large puddles of rainwater. At this point, I am just going to spend the few extra dollars and start using UPS and/or FedEx for shipping items and sending urgent documents as long as the recipient accepts those packages. I understand that customers can be mean to workers and at a certain point, workers can develop apathy towards others, especially towards customers. USPS is definitely way underfunded and workers are probably treated poorly. However, the major attitude that I got for just simply filling out a mailing document in the wrong area that'd block the "plethora" of customers (which there were none) without even saying a word was uncalled for and not acceptable. I know nothing will happen with this review; this is just my venting that I'll no longer visit this location anymore and just use other providers.

It is a delight to do business here. This location is especially convenient. That's absurd, but regardless I was there before then so I thought it was fine. I walked inside to see the gate closed at the counter and a long line of people waiting to use the QR kiosk. It wasn't their lunch break yet, so I'm confused why this was happening. A lady was helping a few select customers through the side door by the gate, so I know staff was present. I'm giving two stars because at least there was a kiosk. My suggestion to USPS is to get rid of the crazy long lunch hours. Or have employees stagger their breaks so someone is still available. My second suggestion is to add more kiosks to make the process more efficient. If you refuse to have people working, replace them with kiosks so people can actually mail their items during your promised business hours. EDIT: I took away a star because they never scanned any of the items I dropped off today.

We were on our way to another post office, but saw this post office, decided to ship a few boxes, so came here. Parking is plentiful and the lot is easy to maneuver through. Customers park on the ground level and enter the front doors at a much raised level. The lobby is just off the entryway, with a lot of mail boxes to the left. Customers can walk straight ahead upon entry to get to mail slots where they can deposit their mail. To the right is the separate customer service area where customers got into a short line to wait their turn at either of the two windows where postal workers were handling customer transactions. The customer service area is stocked with various sizes of boxes and envelopes, various types of greeting cards, and gift cards, all for sale. While waiting in line, I noticed that one of the employees was slow, and the other one was not slow (not fast, just not slow). Thankfully, shipping is easy if the customer (like us) had QR codes ready on the mobile app for each shipment. This way, all the USPS employee has to do is scan the QR code, which allows a shipping label to be printed automatically that the employee applies to either the box or the envelope and puts it into the bin to be shipped. 4 star experience.
