Absolute worst customer I've ever experienced every time I come here. I've continued to come because it is closest USPS to me, but I will now be driving out of my way just to avoid the continuous negative experiences here. I wouldn't typically take time out of my day to write a negative review but every time I come in the service team is incredibly rude, I almost feel like I and others have been bullied at times with negative comments from staff members, they remove the bells, and ignore customers for long periods of time and come out whenever they feel like it and by that time there is a long line built up. They also rate themselves on the kiosk before you have a chance to respond to the rating question. read more

INCONVENIENCE! horrible customer service Employees seem unhappy and unable to perform they're jobs. 3:55 and NO RETURN FROM LUNCH! Wow! Sign says 3:30 it's 3:55 and yet is closed! I kept telling myself, I will give them one more try because it is so close to home. NO MORE! There is usually only one employee working, which backs the line out the door! Every single employee that I have come in contact with there has a horrible attitude and is EXTREMELY RUDE! If you hate your job that bad please leave and let someone else do it! Last 3 times I went they had the gate closed. It was not a holiday. People were lined up inside wondering where all the workers were. If your hours are 9-5 then why do you keep closing the gate for long breaks or to go home? Last but not least, today I went to drop off my package and the gate was only open just enough for one person to walk through at a time. The line was out the door and for someone to walk out the entire line had to move over. With Covid being so high and having all these people trapped inside seems a bit dangerous. Also, this should be a fire hazard having the gate like that where people can't get out quickly. I am going to contact the fire department to make sure they know that this is going on. Such a disappointment that people are so miserable and rude that we cannot just go to the post office down the street and drop off our packages. God forbid I need to ask for stamps!!! Complete incompetence... a real life example of snail mail!!! Dropped off a package for my Father for Father's Day mailing Priority on Monday 6/11 for delivery Thursday 6/13. As of Monday 6/17 (A WHOLE WEEK LATER) the package has just made it to the Coppell distribution facility the next town over. What took a week for my package to leave your facility and now miss Father's Day? Ugh! I've been slimed. And can you get a refund for this $30 shipping charge because it was not delivered in it's expected time? Nope, sorry! There is no guarantee with Priority Mail no matter how much it costs... just crawl back in your shell. Rude, lazy, ethnic staff and long lines also plague this location. But this seems to be standard USPS protocol. What a bunch of slugs! read more

2:30 pm on Wednesday-the folding door is closed with an illegible sign posted. The sign says something to the effect of " closed, will return at xxx". Can't read what it says. Many people walking in and out frustrated. US Post Office closed in the middle of the day-unbelievable. Won't come back here. It's dirty most of the time anyway-trash on the floor and overflowing trash cans inside the lobby. read more

I stopped here this morning to mail off a few items. This was a spur of the moment stop. I usually go to the Abrams Post Office location, but I was running errands on Mockingbird and decided to stop. Maybe it was the time that I stopped but I was impressed with the amazing service and no lines. The actual location was clean and updated. It was in a shopping plaza that was easy to access. This was a great experience, which is normally not had when visiting a Post Office. I would stop here again in a heartbeat. read more

WOW - nothing like walking into a post office at 2:50 on a Tuesday to be told "she's on her lunch break" and I can assist you on the kiosk" - which doesn't help b/c I've got to buy international postage and mail a box. When asked "can you help me behind the counter?", the answer was a brisk "no". So why can she help me at the kiosk but not behind the counter?! No clue. Incredibly lazy and unhelpful. Without a doubt, has to be the WORST run Post Offices around. Is there no one to cover during breaks?! SKIP IT - go to USPS or FedEx where they actually want your business!!! read more

Well we all know USPS sucks. So, I went to ship something at my local post office today. I had prepaid for my padded envelope. But the part that struck me was when they said I have to bring my own tape for them to apply the label. I had no tape. And then realized I forgot my wallet. I've never had this happen until today, completely confused, I asked to borrow some tape. The answer was no. There is tape everywhere would be nice if I could borrow some I asked again.. no! My inner smartass was released! USPS get with the program. FedEx and UPS scan a QR code, then print out a label and stick it on! Why do you would you make things difficult. This is the future adapt. Terrible service. So then I had to drive back home, find my wallet, buy some tape, go back to that USPS, see those deniers of tape! I strive to never use USPS, for anything again. If you want quality, you obviously know to use UPS or FedEx. read more

Today is Wednesday. I walked to this office around 11:00am (hours of operation are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm) and it was closed. There was a note glued to the closed door-"Due to mechanical problems the office is closed". And no single word when it would be reopened. There were other disappointed customers besides myself. I learned from them that this office was also closed yesterday. I cannot go to a different post office because I opened a PO Box account on line at this office address and need to complete the process and get my keys. I tried to get a phone number on line hoping to get more info - no luck, the number listed on line is out of service. At this time I am on hold calling a general USPS # - it already an hour passed and I am still waiting to talk to someone about this predicament. read more

This is my go-to post office, however a friendly warning to all Customers at this location... DO NOT USE THE SELF-SERVE STAMP KIOSK AT THE ENTRANCE!!! The last two times I used it, the printer was out of alignment and I ended up with useless stamps (see photo). On top of that, they won't do the refund or exchange at this location and you'll have to see a manager at the Oak Lawn location for that. FIX THE MACHINE OR GET RID OF IT IF YOU CAN'T!!!!! read more

For a busy post office their lobby drops and package postage are usually broken. I've stopped here numerous times just to drop a package off and either the machine is not working or the package drop is jammed or locked. The agents are nice but slow and there's no urgency to make the line move. Definitely could use extra staff and a working lobby package drop off. read more

This has got to be the worst post office station I have ever interacted with. I requested that a package be returned to sender via the USPS website this past weekend. It is getting closer to the end of the week and the status has not been updated and I have received no contact despite calling 20 times (literally twenty). I haven't had any of my calls picked up . I've waited on the line until the call drops. Calling the service number is ineffective also. I live in another state so I can't even drop by the post office to speak to someone in person. I contacted the USPS customer service to see if I could get some help that way, but all they did was re-direct me to the phone number I've already called. I called a few more times this morning only to have the same result - silence. All I want to know is the status of my package. But if I can't get it resolved I may have to file a claim. read more

The two stars is for the delivery reliability of the mail that I drop off here. I swear that items from here are delivered faster than items that I mail through the larger substation on NW Highway. The customer service at the counters is terrible. As others have noted, the woman at the counter is especially rude and difficult to deal with. And the kiosk is frequently broken, so no luck trying to use that to avoid the counter staff. I recommend checking your price options for Priority Mail before you go as the staff immediately tries to charge you the highest price. I saved myself $19 by checking the mail options for what I needed in advance. read more

I always try to avoid this location at any cost... Angry woman postal worker behind the counter with the poorest attitude thinks nothing about making you wait 20 to 25 minutes in line with 8-10 others and gives you attitude if you show any concern. So, they shut down the big post office in the area about a year ago that serviced the UT Southwestern area and put in this little post office down the street in the shopping center on Mockingbird/Lemmon. Because it is in a shopping center, it's not one of those places you can drive in and drop off mail without getting out of your car or come in before/after work to get stamps, etc. It's only open 8 am - 5 pm M-F, so getting up 30 minutes earlier so you can swing by the post office before work was all in vain. However, running by on your lunch break is not...lol. The workers here are always nice and pleasant (shocking!), they laugh and joke around with you and it makes it a little worth the mid-day stop. I just wish they would extend their hours to 7 am - 6pm to make it a little more convenient.... read more

I only ever see 2 people working here. I don't think I have ever seen them crack a smile. There is always a line and it's SLOW! This has to be the slowest post office I have ever been too. I know I will at least be waiting in line for 15 minutes or more. read more

This is a small location, and does not have the hours or service that the larger post offices have. I work in the same complex, so I frequent this location. Very often, they have run out of stamps that are appropriate for business correspondence. They run out of envelopes. It's usually very dirty as well - trash is overflowing and papers all over the floor. The ladies who have helped me are very nice though!! read more
