Beware bringing important invitations to this location. I am incredibly disappointed in the service here. I dropped off my wedding invitations at this location, and asked for them to be hand-canceled to prevent the machine from tearing up the invitation. The front lady insisted that they would be hand canceled, and put them in their "hand cancel" pile because she was unable to do it right in front of me. My guests have received the invitations and it is very clear that it has gone through their machine. Incredibly upset that there was no sure way to make sure that these were hand canceled, as the staff insisted that they were not able not do it in front of customers. I thoroughly regret taking our invitations to this location and stress to other brides to make sure they get hand canceled in front of you. read more

I have been going to the Turtle Creek Post Office for close to 30 years. They are excellent.

Consistently rude, condescending and unhelpful. Overall most behind the desk seem irritated and aggressively unkind.

Rude, lazy and unhelpful. Supplies aren't stocked. No boxes, pens, tape, forms, etc. And if you wait in line to get said supplies, you get sent to the back of the line to fill out the forms that should have been stocked to begin with. Then the associate immediately goes on break as soon as I get to the front of the line. It took me 30 mins to send 2 items. Feels targeted and intentional.... Which is their goal! The *fatigue* is real. End the USPS gov subsidizing now and let private companies fire these people. read more

I go to the post office in Turtle Creek Boulevard. This is a very pleasant spot. They are always very helpful and don't make you feel rushed when you're at the counter but they are also aware of the people in line. This helps you appreciate them that much more. They know their stuff. read more

I am mind blown. I asked the guy at the window for a 6" piece of tape to close a box and he refused to help me. He said I could tape the box closed if I bought a roll of tape. How absurd! I would understand that if I needed alot of tape, but a 6" piece?! The customer service here is severely lacking. UPS would never act this way towards their customers. This is not the first time I've been in this branch and the person behind the counter has been rude and unhelpful and also acted like it was an inconvenience to do their job. I only came by here because I was returning something and the company sent me a USPS label. I would never come here of my own accord. read more

Convenient, convenient, convenient. What can I say its a post office? I dont take these guys for granted and this one seems to be on my radar a lot. It's out of the way, tucked deep into a multifamily neighborhood. If you didn't know it was here you would never see it. It works for me because of its location. If you don't like this post office come use the Oak Lawn post office in my neighborhood for a month. Then you'll understand why I love yours and drive four miles for better service when I must use USPS. I guess it all has to do with perspective. read more

The Post Office has been a dreadful place to go to for as long as I can remember. I don't understand why the people at the desk are always so grumpy and slow. I came here to mail a simple prepaid package and receive a receipt for proof and it took about 30 minutes. Granted there was only one worker serving customers while a bunch of other people were cackling in the background doing whatever they do behind the walls. The worker told me I could just leave my package on the counter if I was in a hurry. AS IF I'm going to trust my package to the likes of the postal service without some form of receipt! They've lost my stuff too many times already. Since my package had prepaid shipping I had no other choice than to come to the post office. Otherwise I would have used UPS or FedEx. Next time I'm forced to use the post office I'll drive to Addison where I happened to receive exceptional service once. read more

Place is a joke. Printer never works, so they can't even print shipping labels. Not sure why a post office doesn't consider having a printer as essential. Waste of tax dollars. read more

I'm going to start this review with some disclaimers. First, this has nothing to do with the lobby service at this location. I've only been there a couple of times and those behind the counter were very nice. Second, I'm hoping this is directed at the correct facility. I'm making an assumption that since my delivery zip is 75225, this is were my mail originates. So if not, I'm very sorry. However, the complaint still stands. This review/complaint is directed toward the person who delivers the mail. This specific delivery address is a business. He is a dictionary definition of "I'm not going to do one thing more than I have to." Above and beyond is not in his vocabulary and is the grumpiest person I have EVER met. There have been multiple negative comments from others in this building - the consensus is the same. No one likes him. There have even been negative comments from his co-workers who fill in for him on his days off. And of those who fill in, they couldn't be nicer. How does this person still have a job? Is it because he's union and protected? There are sooo many examples I can give but am choosing not to within this venue. My main reason for posting is so the station manager can be on the look-out for his negativity if not already aware. If his co-workers recognize it, the manager is bound to be able to. read more

I was completely appalled by the behavior of the 2 associates working today. Alicia I believe was one of them and the other one had a accent. As I stood in line with other customers there seemed to be a disagreement after he walked out both associates made fun of him in front of everyone in line. Then Alicia said out loud "Are we the only post office open?" Which I and the other customers around me were shocked as if We should be guilty of actually coming to post office. I waited as the other associate taped up her box and tape on the shipping label. As I walked up to Alicia she said I wasn't ready because my label wasn't taped down. I asked to borrow tape she told me no that they aren't allowed to let customers to borrow tape that is why they sell it. I said the post office on oak lawn has tape for the customers to use and so does the post office on smu blvd. She said that she didn't share tape. I said the lady before me borrowed tape from the other associate. I also work a government job and if I ever treated someone like that I'd be asked to leave. Talking about customers after they leave, complaining about having too many customers, then refusing to let me borrow tape when others right beside me was borrowing tape. At my work I ship Approximately 20-25 packages and I will be canceling our account. They say post offices are dying and the treatment I received I can see why. I'm am utterly disgusted. This is an unusually nice post office. How often do you hear that? Many of these folks have been working here 30-40+ years. My father got a PO Box here the day they opened nearly 50 years ago and we still maintain that box. The place has not changed much in the past 40+ years that I remember it... but the surroundings have changed a lot. It's an old, divey kinda looking place, but the folks behind the counter are so nice and attentive. Back when I was growing up, a lot of this area of Dallas was still open fields. Central Expressway was still there - but a lot of the area on Northwest Highway was country - you could see members of the Caruth family riding their horses just down the road a bit. You'd never know it was that 'recent' when you see how everything from the water tower to the apartments have radically changed. The old Tom Thumb is now a Walgreens. This Post Office is one of the few old landmarks left in this old neighborhood. It really brings back memories - as cheesy as that sounds. The folks that work here make you feel like you're still back in that time. That's a rare thing. read more

Awesome staff! Very friendly! They allowed we to get into line 2 minutes after official closing time.

I rarely have to wait in line and the staff is pretty friendly. The "Do it Yourself" mailing machine is alway available and stocked with envelopes. The pick up times are convenient as well. read more

This is by far the WORST post office in America. They are rude, slow, and don't give a damn if your packages are not delivered, delivered to the wrong address or lost. You are simply bothering them by showing up. There's only one rude person st the counter and can always hear at least 5-10 people in the back chit chatting while they don't answer the phone or the package door bell. I'm disgusted by them. I've lived here 4 years and I'm so sick of this post office. Filed too many complaints to count with the USPS. read more

This post office is a perfect example of waste in our government. We stand in line forever and then when we get to the front of the line the person behind the counter looks at the clock and goes on break. Not customer service oriented at all. Seldom see a smile from anyone behind the counter. And the delivery is even worse. When coming off mail hold, rather than deliver your mail in a package to the door they will stuff your mailbox until the seams burst. I get the other review where they walked down memory lane, but honestly, having the same staff in the same place for decades is NOT the answer to improved customer service. The USPS loses billions annually. Think about that next time you stand in line because two of the three workers are on break. read more
