If Dante had written about government buildings instead of hell, this place would've made it into…read moreParadiso. A post office that looks more like a courthouse in Rome than a place where you buy stamps. Big, clean, and shockingly well-kept--like the feds actually cared what the outside of their buildings look like. Two USPS ATMs glowing like twin shrines to the gods of convenience. Inside? Friendly clerks who smile like they don't know they work for one of the most famously sluggish institutions in America. Lines move. People actually seem to get what they came for. It's a post office that dares to flirt with efficiency. It's still the USPS, so don't expect champagne service and caviar stamps. But if you're going to mail a package, dodge jury duty letters, or ship your mother-in-law's fruitcake back to wherever it came from, you could do a hell of a lot worse. "It's still bureaucracy--but at least here, bureaucracy comes with a decent smile and a damn fine building.

I've been to this location a few times now, and I don't know if I just have some bad luck, or…read morewhat...but the staff I interact with are consistently rude and borderline disrespectful with the way they address me (or my wife). They can't seem to answer a question without being rude, complain when they see you're carrying more than one envelope, and are always shouting at people. This is especially sad considering I loved the distribution center that was here before (yes there were some interesting characters working there as well, but not blatantly rude).

She keeps her patience. Their stamp assortment is not too great. I like to buy pretty stamps when I am actually at the post office. I asked for two different style of stamps and they were out of both. USPS tends to offer the least expensive shipping, which is why they are always so busy. I appreciate how they offer a variety of shipping speeds. They also sell greeting cards and wrapping paper which has saved me a trip to another store in the past.

Just happened to be in West Pines and needed to drop off a package at this USPS. The intersection…read moreof Pines Blvd and Flamingo Road is horrible and entry into this plaza was difficult. The USPS is not visible from Pines Blvd and is at the far back of the plaza with limited close parking. The interior was spacious and busy but waited only 5-10 minutes. This specific package was important to ship out today. The postal service officer scanned my package and circled the tracking number on my receipt. She asked me to apply her performance rating on the digital screen with a choice of three faces - frown, dull and smiley. I told her to please smile and after she did I tapped a green smile face and left. It was simple but if possible, I prefer local UPS Store drop off locations.

A great little store with so much to offer. They have mailboxes, copy service and of course they…read moreship packages. I've always found the staff to be friendly and super helpful. I'm thinking about getting a mailbox here because it's secure and in a convenient location. The price is lower than most places too. The only downfall would be the parking during peak hours. I'm stopped in here many times over the years and the staff always take good care of me every time. They treat packages with special care and everything I've sent has arrived in great condition.

I asked was there anything else I needed to do after they took it, the people working replied "no". I then received notifications from AT&T that they had not received the device for weeks after that. I returned to the store on 6/30 to speak to someone in person and they said well if you brought it here then it will make it there because they have to wait a couple of weeks before sending it out. I have her the number of the barcode of the device. She went to the back to check if it was there and said that it wasn't. I asked her if there was any way to track where the device was, she replied no. I asked her how do they notify AT&T to let them know it has been returned to the store, she did not respond. Instead she asked me if I kept my receipt. I have now been charged $150, thanks to these people not doing their job and In the process blamed me for not having a receipt.

Located inside a gas station, this small post office has everything any other post office has…read moreexcept for long lines and rude employees who act as if your time isn't important. This location is actually a bit farther from my house than the actual post office but I really don't mind driving there in order to not deal with the issues I stated above. The clerks are always helpful and the last time I was there the clerk actually told me a way to save money on the item I was mailing. I don't think I've ever waited more than five minutes getting helped. In all fairness, I've never gone there during the holiday season so it might be different. but the times I have been there it's always been an easy and positive experience. I also needed some stamps the last time I was there and although the choices weren't as many as you might get at a larger post office it was still fine.

She also talked me out of overnighting something and sending it priority so I saved quite a bit of money. I also bought some really pretty stamps. They have such a nice variety here. I like buying the unique stamps and this location had a lot. Believe it or not, some other post offices I have been to did not have too many to choose from. They also have some nice greeting cards and attractive mailers that are out of ordinary. Parking was easy. I was in and out of here in a flash.
