I'm beyond fed up with the USPS and their ongoing pattern of incompetence. Packages constantly show as "departed" with no further updates for days. Tracking is unreliable, delivery is delayed with no explanation, and good luck speaking 2 a human who can actually help. The mismanagement is staggering there's a clear lack of accountability. It's like they're actively trying to run this service into the ground I really can't comprehend how they continue 2 hold their position while these problems persist it speaks volumes of the leadership and it shows at every level. USPS used 2 B a reliable institution now is a bureaucratic mess of excuses and vanished/delayed packages. They really need 2 step aside and let someone who actually cares about doing the job right take over. (PERIOD) This Avondale USPS is largely attributed to the persistent mismanagement by its Board of Governors. Their oversight has failed to ensure accountability and effective leadership, resulting in operational inefficiencies, service delays, and declining public trust. Rather than prioritizing the core mission of timely and reliable mail service, the Board has too often supported policies and leadership choices that undermine USPS's long-term sustainability and public service obligations. A change in direction, guided by a commitment to transparency, service quality, and modernization, is urgently needed. yet another example of the ongoing operational issues within the organization. USPS plays a vital role in our country's infrastructure, but without real improvements and responsible leadership, it risks becoming entirely unreliable. I hope to see action because right now, trust in the service is at an all-time low. Everything was going smoothly with my package updates, on-time tracking right up until it hit the USPS facility in Avondale. This lack of transparency and consistency has made it increasingly difficult to trust this USPS with timely and secure deliveries. No movement, no delivery, nothing just departures 2 the same Post Office.‍ Mistakes happen, but this is far from an isolated incident. These kinds of errors, paired with vague updates and a lack of proactive communication, point to a systemic problem in logistics and management. This isn't a one-time fluke either - this location has a pattern of holding onto packages like they're collectibles. Everytime something gets routed through Avondale U expect a delay that's the reason I ordered my package in a timely matter. This wasn't just a missed delivery it impacted a community event where I was supposed to bring joy 2 children on Easter Sunday. Instead, I was left scrambling, empty-handed, and heartbroken to see the disappointment on their faces. My Easter Bunny suit I ordered well in advance for a community event, just sat there. Packages frequently show as "departed" with no further tracking updates for extended periods of time, because of this I didn't get my suit in time and had 2 cancel the whole Easter surprise. A lot of kids were let down, and frankly I'm still angry. USPS needs 2 take a serious look at what's going on at this facility. Until then, avoid this location if your delivery time actually matters. It's hard 2 believe this level of disorganization still exists in 2025. The inefficiencies do not seem isolated to local branches, but rather point to a broader failure in leadership and oversight. The Postmaster General and senior management seem either unaware of these repeated failures or unwilling to address them meaningfully. It reflects a serious breakdown in both process and oversight. They seem unwilling or unable 2 implement the changes necessary 2 restore the basic standards of service that customers expect and deserve. USPS was once a cornerstone of dependable public service. It is disheartening to see the organization plagued by mismanagement and operational breakdowns. I urge leadership to take meaningful steps toward improvement or 2 allow those w/ the competence and vision required 2 lead such a critical service to step in. It's incredibly disheartening 2 feel like you can't rely on a service you've trusted for years. I sincerely hope USPS addresses the inefficiencies at this location. PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION THANK U

Boom in and out. I'm hungry now...... oops. So yes super fast friendly and three employees with no waiting. Can't beat the price and service. Plus did I mention I walked in with an open box and my own tape yet she taped it up for me and didn't use my tape. It's the little things.

Package sat for 2 days with no update. Refused to let me come pick it up after waiting on hold for over 25 min.

The UPS Store quoted $168 for a 31"x3"x3" tube. USPS did it for $36. And were great about it!

There was a "concierge" to help direct you to the correct line. Wanted special/odd-sized packaging & shipping and was quoted a reasonable price for both. Shipment arrived at the destination the next day, even with regular ground service (it was a local shipment). I would rate this business & it's employees & management as outstanding.

A worker came to the counter and didn't greet me in the usual UPS style I'm used to. She said basically nothing. It seemed that she was irritated at having to leave her other work to help me, a 70+ year old man. The young woman is black with first name starting with (I think) "K". The first 3 packages were pre-labeled. She scanned them and then TOSSED THEM ON THE GROUND behind her with total disregard for what might be in the boxes. My wife said they were expensive shoes being returned. Then she scanned the next item from my phone, picked up a plastic bag, curled the open bag and tied it in a knot, bending the item's packaging before putting the return label on the wrapped plastic. The fifth item was scanned from my phone and by that time I was so angry at all of this I didn't pay attention to what she did to it. It was then I thought that perhaps she was being passive aggressive to me in that I didn't use the self-service machine. With the 5 return items, I didn't want to deal with the self-serve machine. There was no smile from her, no asking if I wanted a receipt, and no thanking me for coming in today. She just had an irritated scowl most of the time. Later I thought I should have called her on tossing the boxes on the floor, but that might not have helped. Perhaps she was having a bad day, or really doesn't like the job, or really took a quick dislike to me and acted unprofessionally. UPS had better deal with this worker quick before she sullies the reputation of this usually fine store.
