I go to the counter and they send me to the machine. The one time I let them put the label on my package. They delivered it to Myself. I think they steal here too because tracking stops for some bizarre reason actually all USPS sucks in New York. I guarantee you they're stealing And they use razor blades to slice open envelopes and pull out the gift card so now I have to send them by email because I'm afraid of theft. Also, it's dirty in there. They never clean it. The doors are dirty. I hate to even touch them. I feel like I'm gonna get a disease. They never clean the glass. They never clean anything. All they do is empty the trash that's about it and they always have only two people maybe one available out of I don't know what is it eight slots that they could have people working out of. read more

Worst experience ever trying to understand why a confirmed Hold Mail request was totally ignored and instead the carrier decided to return all our mail to Sender. Post Office presented this information without any explanation, regret or accountability. I was told that the supervisor and carrier was not at the Post Office but later was told that they were to busy to speak to me. Extremely poor leadership and no willingness to identify what happened or address failures. I was told that "All I needed to understand was that there is no mail at the Post Office for me." Worst post office next to Whittington which is the absolute worst post office. This location always has only 1 person working. They go out of their way to be unhelpful, to them it's an art form. If there is more than one person working the other goes to lunch or a break leaving the lone agent. I use the self serve at this location whenever possible!! You get better service from doing it yourself!! Pretty sure they will lose your package so I would not post anything from here. Passport guy doesn't get in until 9:30AM. So if you have an appointment before 9:30am, you are going to be waiting. There was 3 other people waiting. The counter clerks didn't inform us when, just told us to wait. Location had no A/C on at 9am. Front door stuck open. Grounds look post apocalypse, you would think the building is vacant if you didn't see cars in the lot. I was hoping to see wildlife in the 3 ft high grass, didn't happen although there might have been a bum living in the bushes. Customs guy doing the passport was nice and it went quickly. Location is so close I would go again but I wouldn't make a special trip. read more

I had to learn this the hard way.. on my 4th trip to the POsT office someone (a new employee) divulged this to me that she is in between the hours of 7:30 and 12:00. Why I have to hound them to change my lock and remind them to do the job I've already paid them to do is beyond me! Update: I met the infamous Rosalyn and she's got a BAAD attitude, not surprise. So long story short she is now telling me that I have to close my box after they have taken 6 mos worth of money from me and change my lock at premium! I've got time! I will fight to get my money back. Yesterday when I called customer service I was on hold for 55 min and had to hang up because my shift was starting. So one silver lining.. I usually dread coming to the post office. It is usually extremely crowded, the line moves slower than rides at Disneyland, and the staff are unfriendly. I came by this location as it was on my way to work. First time here. There was only one person in front of me on a Friday. The post office worker was amazing and super friendly. The person in front of me was questioning items on her receipt and the cashier was very professional and polite in answering her questions efficiently. I was really happy to be in and out in less than 5 minutes. I will definitely come to this location from now on. Thanks. read more

I encountered a very rude gentleman working at the counter today at 3:45pm. He didn't bother to greet me when I walked up he just said "you can't use that label." after having to rewrite the address on the package itself I asked would he please tape it up because I wasn't sure if I would be able to use that packaging or not so I did not pre-tape it. He said no you have to buy tape and walk all the way across the lobby and get it yourself! What a great way to earn people's business. I scheduled a passport appointment THREE weeks out. And the day of the appointment I arrive 10 minutes early as suggested with all the required items. I tell the rep at the desk, "I'm here for a passport appointment." He responds, "The passport lady called out sick and I'll have to reschedule at a later date." Here's the problem with that...I have a important trip coming up & had planned to add expedited shipping on to the passport. They did not notify anyone of the cancellation. And now my passport my come in LATE despite me planning accordingly due to someone "calling out sick". Also, three other people came in just to find out they will be delayed as well. I requested to speak with a manager, waited for 20 minutes just to hear someone yelling at a coworker in the back. This will be my first & LAST visit at this location. read more

I visited again on 11/05/2022 Let me just start by saying every time I come to this location the women at the quick service door are extremely rude and unprofessional . We already have to wait long just to receive service. Then once approached they just stand there and look at you . No greeting or how may I help you or anything ! They are always bitter which is only going to upset customers even more. It's so ridiculous and unnecessary to get that type of service and treatment. They have clearly improved their customer service since the last reviews that were left. I've lived down the street for the past couple months and have been here on several occasions now. Each time I go in I'm either greeted or asked if I need assistance. When the lines are bad there is a worker there to expedite within the line. When there is no one there the workers at the stations ask how I'm doing and thank me for my patience. Maybe it's under new management ..I don't know how post offices work but keep it up it's a breeze dealing with pleasant workers! read more

This location is right down the street from my job. I usually use them if I need to send out something during my lunch. They close at Five like all others and they close at Five! If you aren't in you get locked out. They offer all the regular services but one thing that I don't like is this. I ship a lot of packages by Priority Mail and sometimes I like to drop in to get a box or two to pack my packages in advance of shipping. If you come after hours most other post offices have access to these boxes. Not here! They are locked until business hours? So I only use them if I can get boxes from my home post office which is usually closed by the time I get there in the evenings and is too far away to drive to at lunch. read more

Has to be the worst USPS office in Houston, called because I've had a package "attempted delivery" for 3 days now. My regular mail delivery also has yet to come since Friday. Finally reached a real person who said "everything has gone out for the day" and the hung up before even getting my zip code or address or name. If you need to mail anything I suggest the extra few dollars for UPS because atleast they're capable of doing their jobs. read more

We made a passport appointment for our son 10 days ago and waited, they called us 1 hour before the appointment time to say our appointment was cancelled, there was no one at the window. I know its normal for most government run agencies to be rude and unhelpful but this place takes the cake! Supervisor was the rudest- and the customer was being unbelievable calm and professional, trying to explain her issue. Supervisor was having none of it, was immediately in her face with rude commentary. 3 out of 3 customers had issues, 3 of 3 walked out angry and unhelped.
