I come to the post office roughly 3 times a week for my job. I came to purchase postage on April 2, 2025, and I was the last customer of the day. I went the counter because the scales outside were out of service and I was assisted by clerk 8. She told me that I needed to buy a certificate of mailing which I questioned because I have never done before. I bought the certificate of mailing and left quietly. Mind you, it was completely quiet since it was the end of the day. I then hear her recount our entire interaction to her coworker and say " she's a bitch and a liar". Worst of the worst post offices around. They don't even know their own rules there on mail forwarding. One manager says fill several Forwarding forms out, when I don't see my mail being forwarded, I go back and the next supervisor tells me you can't forward mail if it was used as a business. So while I'm standing at the counter speaking to the one manager lady telling her it was the other manager lady helping another person that she was the one who gave me the instructions on filling for a mail forwarding. In a loud voice she tells me that "she don't know shit" what the hell ? Everyone heard her say that. This post office is in dier need of upper management to clean house. So now only some of my mail get forwarded, some of my DMV or IRS letters get forwarded and others just go back as un-deliverable. Real Nice USPS . So glad when I move out of Comufornia. read more

Word of advice, if you need a mailbox, spend the extra money at a UPS store or private mailbox service, because this place sucks. Here's why: As someone who lives in an RV, I need to have mail delivered somewhere right? Yes you CAN have packages delivered here that do not fit in your mailbox...however, you have to pick them up at a little service door to the right of the mailboxes...and the line is always sooooo long. So, you're waiting there for 20 minutes sometimes because they have 1 person going and grabbing mail, then coming back and taking care of the next person. Also, if you have Amazon or perishable items delivered here, you might get a notification of delivery on your phone, but you cannot pick them up same day of delivery. Trust me I tried. I got a notification of a factor meal delivery at 1:00, and when I went to pick it up after 4:00, they still hadn't "processed" it so the person at the door was just like ‍ they will not go back and basically retrieve it, even though it's sitting by somewhere in the building, if it hasn't been processed for your mailbox, which apparently takes hours to do. Think this was a fluke occurrence? Nope, it happened multiple times. You're better off paying for a private mailbox where you can go get your mail as soon as it's delivered. read more

The mother daughter team at the counter are playing god with peoples packages. I am mailing a Leatherman multi tool with a blade in its original packaging as a gift for my son to an apartment in Florida. I was told I'm not allowed to mail a knife. What? I can order one online and have it shipped to my house and I even pulled up the USPS site and it's stated in publication #52 article #44 Knives and Sharp Instruments that it's ok. When will we eliminate the USPS? They are slow, incompetent, thieves and liars! Once again, unfortunately, cheap Costco shipped something using these losers. I see USPS pull up in front of my house, and I was surprised to see them do their jobs. However, 2 seconds later, they pull off, never leaving their 1922 Jeep, and then mark it as delivered! This is the same lies they do during the holidays. Most times it is because they screwed up and dont have it in their truck. So instead of being adults and admitting a mistake, they LIE, send you the delivered notification and drive off. You will either never see your item again, or, weeks later when they notice it by the toilet at their Office. Every USPS gets horrible reviews, people cant stand them. When will we wipe these out completely??? Dont need em, dont want em. I will never use them again. Called them TEN times and it just keeps ringing for a minute until it makes the sound as if it's busy. My mail has not been delivered for 2 weeks. Two of my packages are marked as delivered on my end but customer service says the driver scanned it back to the facility. Went into the post office and they said it should be at my front door where it should have been delivered & said if it's not to give it another day! Tired of my packages and mail including my bills not being delivered!!! I know they aren't being stolen especially if customer service themselves says it's back at the post office! I would like to say I get my money's worth from the USPS but I can't. To start with when you enter from Rancho California you have to go through the mail box drive up line to get to the parking spaces....ughhhh so frustrating to have to wait for people dropping mail just to get to the parking lot. I usually am a do it yourselfer and use the kiosk. There used friendly enough and usually in n out.....sounds like a burger. Today the line inside was relatively small maybe 2 or 3 peeps so I took a chance.....geez it felt like time stood still and I grew a beard while I waited. Finally my turn and I'm mailing back an empty pill bottle from a supplement i ordered. You have to return the empty bottle how redundant is that.....any way the cost to go a hundred miles for an empty pill bottle was $3.39. I said to the clerk that seems awfully high....he asks how much would you like to pay and I said 2 dollars.....he just laughed. read more

I made my annual stop at this USPS location to mail Christmas gifts. As expected, it's quite busy with a lot of traffic and people rushing to do the same. This location is on busy Rancho California Road. I only stop here if I have to. The flow in and out of the parking lot is as best as it could be. If you enter from the far east driveway and want to park to go inside, you will have to wait in line behind cars who are dropping off letters in the mail box. There is ample parking, at least for when I was there. If you need counter help, you will wait in line. The line always seems to move so slow. It's best to avoid counter help and use the self serve kiosks. There are three self serve kiosks, which are wonderfully easy to use. Postal workers help to guide and assist customers. And boy, are they helpful. For example, last year a very kind postal worker helped me cut and tape shipping boxes together to fit my large package. All of my gifts for this year are off in the mail. The other employees just give you attitude and are quite hostile. It's clear they are miserable with their redundant sad lives, it shows. I made an appointment online for my children's passport. Once I got to the office the staff informed me that it was not in the system. It took a lot for my kids dad and I to coordinate to be able to both be at the appointment. Maria agreed to do the passports for all of our children even though she was already closed and ready to go home. The staff was so kind and generous to give up some of their personal time and stay and help complete passwords for all of our children. Maria who handled our passport was incredible and such a godsent! Amanda also was kind, Friendly, and informative. Every customer who came in they handled with a warm small town feel even though they are working tirelessly to serve the city! Waited 26 minutes in line (just for the front counter lady who was busy talking the whole time) to finally tell me that I was in the wrong line to pick up a package. Yet she stared at me KNOWING that's why I was in line. Vicious people. They need more than 2 workers. This is the absolute worst Post Office I have ever experienced. I have a mailbox cluster and my mail is lost or misdelivered weekly. I have lost thousands of dollars from their errors. I run a small business and I'm starting to wonder is something fishy is going on. On average I have 3 missing deliveries per week. On a very rare occasion one of my neighbors returns mail that has been mis-delivered. I have contacted the Postmaster several times and it never changes. I just don't understand how an organization can be that incompetent. I would get a PO Box but I don't trust that it would be any better. It's still the same people handing the mail. I really despise the mailbox clusters, it's too easy to make mistakes. Not to mention the complete disregard for actually delivering the mail. A buddy suggest I schedule pick up at home since I go to post office virtually every day. First time pretty late, but least I get picked up. Second time, 4pm comes and goes, then 5.. 6.....7.....8p....no pick up... packages are gonna be late bad for biz....ohhh an email at 8:30pm from USPS THANKING ME FOR USING THERE SERVICE AND WAS I HAPPY. NO Not happy, opposite. Whose lying? Packages are still on my porch. I suck it up with late shipments. Times are tough. Let's not get anybody in trouble. A few weeks go by. Its a Monday. Tracking on something I ordered says delivered last Friday. Wife goes to mailbox almost every day, but we don't get much mail and haven't had ANY MAIL in several days. Wife catches the usps employee down the block on Tues. Employee says oh yea, if your mailbox is full we take it ALL back to hold it for 10 days then mail everything back to sender. I have had way too many problems with this post office in terms of delivery. When I use the tracking number, the package is marked as delivered, but is nowhere to be seen. Even after waiting a couple days (I think the longest I waited was a week), I still have not received the package. This has happened to me on five different occasions. Each time, I have to call the post office and give them the tracking number that says my package was "delivered", and then the post office goes in search for the missing package. It's very inconvenient. On two different occasions, I've had the following scenario happen: Me: *Calling the post office at 2 PM* Voicemail: "We're sorry, the post office is currently closed. Please call us back during our regular business hours. Our hours of operation are from 9AM to 6PM, Monday-Friday..." Me: "ARGH!" *Marches off to the post office to have a talk with the manager* *End of Scenario* Even after speaking with the manager, the same thing occurred. This has been going on since the beginning of the year. I have had packages delivered to me by different vendors, so I cannot understand why this keeps on happening (yes, the addresses were listed correctly!). Recently, one of my packages was marked as "out for delivery" on a Saturday morning. Strange thing was, I never received the package that day. I guess the mailman decided to take a mini-road trip getting to my place. Ended up receiving the package on Monday, but still found the time gap bewildering. read more

This post office is usually pretty busy with lines almost out the door and only 3 or so employees at the counters. The parking is not bad at all I don't understand why people are saying the parking sucks but anyway. This post office is very big with tons of P.O boxes and a nice size lobby area. If you want a passport you will need to make an appointment or you can go to the post office in Wildomar but be prepared to wait in a long a$$ line for about 2hrs or so. The employees here are friendly, very helpful and Jeff Cobbs helped me so much even though he didn't have to so thank you Jeff. I know I will be back and I will be happy to come back. read more

I didn't have my receipt so they tell me "there is nothing I can do".. even though I had my ID, Credit card I previously paid with, electronic proof that it arrived late (tracking on phone), AND their computer stated the package arrived late. My Passport 'acceptance' experience at the Rancho California Temecula Post Office was excellent. Never been there before, because I live in Murrieta. I arrived about 15 minutes early for my (Tuesday) midday Passport appointment. Go in through the front entrance, turn right and go as far down as you can, stop and then turn left. If you still can't see the Passport 'office' by then, well there's nothing else I can do for you. I took a seat 'outside the glass' at the small round table in the outer waiting area. With only one customer finishing up at the counter ahead of me, it was no more than 2-3 minutes before Yelena, the passport service clerk asked me to come ahead to the counter. I needed a passport photo taken, but otherwise my paperwork and payments were all in order. Yelena was friendly, competent and professional. Long story short: I was finished and heading back out the door 15 minutes BEFORE my ORIGINAL appointment time. This errand could not have turned out ANY better. read more
