This seems to be a busy little shipping and receiving store as there was a constant flow of customers coming in and out. Swung by this Postal Annex because of its close proximity to Work. I needed to mail off a ceramic mug to South Carolina but wasn't quite sure how to go about it. Miss Colin took one look at my mug, and knew exactly what to do. I went to ship my live plants to Thailand. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. He is very professional and informative. I used DHL to ship and we wanted to make sure about certain information and he told us about when DHL will pick up the parcel. That is very important about timing for international shipping live plants. Furthermore, he even called DHL to get more informations for me after we left. When we went back to ship on the next day, it was smooth and on hassle at all. The girl that helped me on the shipping day, she has very good attitude at work. Don't drop off your packages there because they mysteriously get lost/stolen even though you get them scanned in and it's out of your hands. They said that there not responsible for lost of missing packages that they received from you. I had two packages went missing from there and they never made it to the main carrier USPS & UPS because it was never scanned as a pick up from Postal Annex. Rarely do I need to next day air and item, but when my son decided to extend his stay in Washington with his dad, I packed his much needed medication and sent them next day delivery at 55$ reassured that they would get there the following day by the third day they're still not there. I went into PostalAnnex to have some documents notarized. I had been once before and a young lady helped me and she was amazing. This time she was busy with another customer, unfortunately. A man took all of my information and said that the young lady would assist me. After waiting a few minutes and becoming aware that she would be a while, I asked are you they notary? This man clearly became annoyed that I asked. His voice because loud and she said "NO, I AM THE OWNER, WHATS WRONG WITH THAT". He then proceeded to go over to a wall and point to his notary certification and said "LOOK HERE YOU CAN SEE MY CERTIFICATION RIGHT HERE". I SAID SIR, All I asked is if you were the notary, why is that a problem? I have never met someone running a business that was no rude for no apparent reason. He then waited another five minutes until it became clear that the young lady would still be a while and decided to complete the notarization himself. Forwards the end of the trans action he because friendlier but why behalf so horribly in the first place. That man need this - The definition of customer service. Normally I drive to the USPS store off of Rancho California, but this place caught my eye on the way so I decided to stop and have some things shipped here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I noticed Coleen taking her time with everyone she helped and was very meticulous when checking paperwork for the customer in-front of me, and when helping make me keys /ship my items. Amazing service. I was in there constantly dropping off letters to send to Navy Boot Camp and the guys were always super helpful. Today I went in with some packages for work, and he asked me if I wanted to send priority mail or switch to regular. Since the cheaper option was to switch, he helped me cut open all the packages, re-pack the new ones, and re-label them. It wasn't an easy task and he helped me knock it out in under ten minutes (I had 9 packages total). He saved me close to $40 and the hassle of driving back to the office to do it by myself! Today is the second time I've been to this location. Both times I was greeted by happy, smiling faces. Today Marlen helped me. I walked in with my three year old son. He asked me if it were okay if he gave my son a lollipop instead of just giving him one which was awesome in my opinion. Super helpful employee. Lots to buy in one stop! The only down fall is the minimum fee to use your ATM/credit card was $10 and I only needed to spend $6. Therefore I had to buy things that I didn't necessarily need. read more

Good service but expensive! They charge a 50 cent fee on AMEX card transactions under $10. The regular post office is cheaper.
