It is unbelievable how slow and inefficient this location is. We came in with a passport appointment and didn't get seen till 30 min after. They appeared to have walk ins that push others out that took the time to make an appointment & file out the application @ home This is unacceptable. Walk ins should be turned away and While we waited in line i noticed how unhappy the staff is. So depressed and sad looking. Neither would crack a smile, look @ you or make any type of attempt to provide good customer service. So robotic. read more

On my two visits here, I was struck by how large the facility is and how much larger it is in the back. Like a TARDIS The folks behind the counter seem, well.. exhausted. And that's before the Holidays in early November. I feel for them. Really do. My Uncle was a mail carrier. But there are only two of "them". There might be several dozen, you see in back walking back and forth. Grrr. So... two at a workstation and fifteen customers waiting, while the Postmaster of the station, greets folks in-line... saying " it will be only a few more minutes!" This is the post office of my choice in my area. The lines aren't too bad and I'm usually in and out. There are also a lot places surrounding this location for my errands. I enjoy the customer service here. I feel like the workers are a lot nicer. Raphael is awesome, always so friendly, funny too, and he has cool hair! Prices aren't too bad especially if I use eBay as I get a discount. I usually come here for sending out packages. read more

An update on my last review since the homie Bradly P. jogged my memory! I applied for my passport on Wednesday, September 11 and received it exactly 2 weeks and 1 day after that, on the 26th! 2 days later, I received my supporting documents in a separate envelope which was sent priority. I tried to check online to see what they status was a week after I applied, but for some reason, I was getting a message that said my info couldn't be updated or something to that effect. I continued to check the day after that, and then again in the next few days, all to no avail. I was glad to have received my new passport in the mail so soon. The fees are well worth it, and the peace of mind you get from it is such a relief! I highly recommend coming here to get your passport. Fill out the application in advance and then be there before the passport office opens at 9 am to get your business done in less than 10 minutes! For all the times we've had to come in here, we've always received quick, courteous and friendly service. We seem to go during lulls when it's really not that busy. We did speak with another customer waiting for a passport to be done that had been waiting there for 2 hours with their baby, so I can't speak for quickness of the service. Do not schedule redelivery. They did not come after I scheduled a redelivery (following their instruction) and told me that there must have been an error because the packing receipt never came through. When I tried to pick up the package in-person I was told they didn't have it and "they must be trying to deliver it again". I was told to go home and try again another day. One week later, I just got the notice that it was returned to the sender. When I called in to inquire about the consistent errors, they told me I should have placed a service order sooner. I did everything I could and I still didn't recieve my package. Their advice "contact the sender and have them try to resend it again". Zero assurance that this won't happen again should I have it reshipped. read more

Came here for a walk-in passport application. Arrived at 8:45 AM and there was still a line inside. If you're walking-in for a passport, it's best to get there 40 minutes early to be first in line. I waited for an hour but that's expected since I didn't make an appointment. There's a short woman with a hearing aid there that was trying to help everyone in line but I wouldn't take any advice from her as she doesn't know much about passport applications. Trust me, if you have any questions just wait to see the passport agent since they have all of the training. The woman with a hearing aid even made someone pay for a new passport photo even though they got one from Staples. Stores like Staples ensure that passport photos are up to par, so this lady made a family pay for another one right then and there because she thought "it was too big." She was also making sure everyone had their documents in order and she was confused as to why I had a money order of $90 when I told her I was just getting a Passport Card with expedited service. She tried to make me full dumb by insisting that it's supposed to be at least $130 but that's for the whole book. All in all, don't make the same mistake I did by delaying my passport application. But if you do, have some patience and don't take any recommendations or advice from the regular employees. Elias helped me with my passport application and was very professional and informative. Horrific service. I was served just fine but u watched the person with blue hair rudely snap at a lady who walked in at 5:01 yelling that they were closed and then a lady who had been waiting in line since BEFORE 5pm he refused to help because "they were closed" He was glaring at everyone walking in at 5 minutes until 5, guess what jerk - people WORK until 5! It is hard for us to get there before and those of us that do, many of us had to leave our paying jobs a few min early to make it by 5. He is a gross representation of the USPS and extremely rude. I needed questions answered about which was better to sign up for - mail hold or forwarding. Angelina, the customer service person gave me a lot of information, explained the process of both services, the advantage of one vs the other. My situation was a little more complicated because my hold time would be over the normal 30 days as my trip was going to be for 75 days. Her suggestion was to do temporary forwarding and because I was leaving in 2 days and the process normally takes a week or so to take effect. This location's drop box/drop off service is horrendous. I run small business and typically I try to use the post office closer to my house but sometimes this location is convenient to stop by. I've been here about 10 times and every single time I have either put packages in the drop box or taken them to the counter, they take 3 business days to scan it in and start the shipping process. Not only is this inconvenient, but it makes paying for 2 day shipping irrelevant when they don't even scan in their packages for several days. If it had happened once or twice or during high season I may understand, but it is a recurring issue specifically with this post office and I will not be mailing packages with them again. read more

This is in fact the worst post office ever. The customer service is an actual joke, the employees are so rude and not helpful even a little bit. When you walk in they act like you are a nuisance. You can't access your PO Boxes but only during 8-5pm well guess what, I work those hours. They don't state that this specific postal service location is for businesses small or large, or their employees, only. It makes packages get sent back to the sender, and has us receivers wondering why we didn't get our packages. It should be noted and stated on the website which ones we "Consumers" are "Allowed" to use, and which ones are solely meant for businesses/employees of USPS. Or if searched on google maps that it only shows normal "consumers" postal offices, so their's no trouble, mishap, or miscommunication. Some people don't like giving out their home address for "Safety", and provide the closest USPS address that's near them. It should either be stated in the website, or on google maps which ones us "Normal Consumers" can use. read more

I live in Murrieta, actually close to this office but make the drive to the PO in old town just to avoid this sh*t show. Everyone in this building is incredibly rude and doesn't give a damn about taking care of the customer. No matter what the issue is, they find a way to piss you off. Don't use this carrier you regret it majorly. They'll lose your mail or miss place it. Also watch out for your personal belongings, they will vandalize your property, lose import mail. All these people need to be fired and have a new owner/ manager. I would recommend finding a better carrier and pay extra somewhere else. This place is a nightmare. read more

I was going to complain but I already see that people are already doing that on here. Might as well join. I actually won't buy from anywhere that deals with usps, because of this post office. Racism and other things. It's a post office of karens There was this one idiot who decided to put people from the inside a line of people outside. We were all 6ft apart. They had no signs outside on what lines should be (There were 2 lines). We had to make up our own system. She kicked everyone back outside. After we already waited in line. And she also decided to have a attitude about it when I mentioned we were just there. She said "And now you're back". I don't know why I didn't ask for a manager. Or call the fire dept to have someone on standby for when an elderly person fallout due to heatstroke And they come up with idiotic rules. Many times have i experienced losing documents and packages. Important documents. But never retrieved it Packages ordered from amazon was being refunded by amazon. And now sadly i experienced it again. My ordered was delivered according to Transaction History but i never got it. Called USPS AND reported it the other day. They took my name, address and phone number. Till now i haven't heard any news. Email the company where i have my order. Told me to contact USPS. Delivery personnel should handle Mails, Documents and packages very carefully and double checking making sure you deliver all items at the right address and person. I dropped off a package to an older lady on the left window and when she went to place it on the ground she just let it drop. I kindly let her know it was fragile and she just threw up her nose and smirked. That was pretty damn rude! It's the end of the day and my package hasn't been scanned in. Hmmmm.... I have been a huge supporter of this post office until today. Our mail was stolen for the second time in a few months. The first time they stole RX's. Hope your blood pressure is better. This time a replacement DOD credit card, which was good for us that it wasn't a private one. They couldn't activate it. A police report was filed. They said we should also report it to the USPS theft department, so I did. This branch called me and asked what my problem was with my mailbox. I told him that nothing was wrong with it. I filed a report with your theft department. Him-why? My mail was stolen. Call the police. I did. I filed a report. You shouldn't have called our theft department. Why not? This review has nothing to to with the window service but the new auto machine. It SUCKS!!!!! Why oh why did they replace the old one? It's great to write a positive review about a postal worker especially in my area Palm Tree Ln in Murrieta in which the carrier is very dependable, professional and does a great job. Had a problem once with a delivery was expecting I talked with my carrier explained what thought might have happened, she gathered all the information and did an immediate follow up in fact she left a note on my door the next day, my mail was delivered after her follow up. As far as the employees go the staff here is cool, just be patient.
