I came here fresh from the dealership with a brand new 2015 Civic from Diamond Honda of Glendale, but the business was about to close and Steve kindly set an appointment for the next day (6/17/2015). The following day, as soon as I pulled up, I was immediately greeted by Steve and he came right to the office to assist me in selecting the right tint. He kindly informed me of the legal limit for tinting (70%), but I still went for 20% all around because my previous car with 35% tint was not enough for me. I asked about the Yelp checkin $140 but he said that I have 2 extra windows, so I paid $160 for the ASWF tint with 3yr warranty. Other options: 3M tint with lifetime warranty is $200 and top part of front windshield tint is $40. He offered me snacks, bagel, water, soda, tea, and coffee while I wait. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. In exactly 45min my car was ready to roll with a very well done quality job. He informed me to not open windows or wash my car in 2 days (48hrs). He said to let him know if I ever experienced any problems with my new tints. Steve definitely wanted to make sure I was satisfied with my service and it's clear in his attitude, professionalism, and catering to his customers. Got my Lexus tinted and the tint job looks really good. I got the color stay 3M, but noticed that there is a glare at night where the tint meets the defroster lines that go across the back windshield. Not sure if this is normal or happens when you get the color stay tint, but there was no glare without the tint and didn't have glare on my previous car with standard 3M tint. Just wished they told me about this prior to the job because I would have gotten a different tint. They also left a lot of residue on the inside of the back windshield, and when I asked if they could wipe it down, the owner said they didn't do detailing and I would need to take it somewhere else to get it cleaned. Just took me by surprise that they didn't just get a rag and some Windex and finish the job. Cleaning up after yourself just seems like common sense. Overall: tint looks good on the outside, but not "wowed" by my experience. read more

These guys were awesome! I took my car in to get it tinted. I payed 140 for all my windows with a 3 year warranty including the little windows in the back( which some places charge extra) there are no bubbles and the tint is black not purple! The owner I believe is jack and he was great really nice guy, when I was leaving he went around my car and checked the tint make sure it was perfect, I guess he saw something I didn't and told his installer to fix it before I left. What can I say about Jack and United Tint that hasn't been said already? I always knew they were professionals when it comes to automotive window tinting and really anything related to the automotive industry. However, I didn't know they also do residential window tinting as well! I found this out on my most recent trips to the tint shop in Glendale. I overheard Jack mentioning it to another customer and inquired about it. They came out within a week and tinted my entire house that same day (we have a lot of windows and french doors). Wow. I was in and out of this place within 40 minutes! I called ahead of time looking to set up a same day appt. but they were super busy, thus, my appt. was set the following day. About an hour after I called, the owner calls me back and says that he has an opening on the same day! I was in there! He was so friendly, offered me beverages, told me where I could walk to grab some Starbucks (right around the corner from United Tint) and was just an overall great guy. The waiting area was so comfortable. Wifi was offered (and free with passcode). I honestly could've comfortably waited another hour watching my show on Hulu. Lol Those seats are amazeballs! I got my tints removed (Just the front) at United Tint location and I have to admit it was quite a painless process. The guy who did it, was very quick and efficient, and took his time to ensure everything was completely properly and spotless. The whole thing took less than 15 minutes and I was happy with the results. I'll be back at this place for my future auto glass tinting needs. I needed to get a quality tint job, and there were two major concerns that I had: 1). the actual execution of applying the tint; and 2). the look/color of the tint. Jack at United Tint was straightforward with the tinting options, the warranties that came with each of them, and the pricing. In speaking with him, I could tell he wasn't in this for a quick buck; rather, he really cared about his reputation and the quality of the experience that his customers would have. How do I know this? Just look at the details... things that are not required or expected. For example, they have a clean waiting room area/lounge with a stocked fridge of mini water bottles and beverages. This is not required or necessary, but speaks volumes about the professionalism and the type of patronage they are seeking. Overall, the execution of the tint was flawless. No little bubbles or issues. They put your car in a closed off/taped off garage so that dust can't get in between the tint and windows during application. No shortcuts here. The employees working on my Lexus took the time to get the tint on right. I even noticed one of the employees cleaning off some of the solution that may have gotten on the door panel. Again, this was not necessary... I would not have even noticed. But it was still done anyway, not for his sake and definitely not for the sake of his time, but for the sake of the customer. They wanted to make sure everything looked great, and in the end the tint did look great. The tint had a luxurious and classic finish. Also, since I chose 15% (only 15% light can go through) for the back windows, my car had a slight sporty look to it as well. The prices were reasonable as other reviewers have mentioned. The tint job itself took about 45 minutes for 5 windows. The whole process from start to finish was about an hour. I could not have asked for a better tint job. read more

Service is awesome. I brought my new CT5 in last week to have the two front windows tinted since all the rear windows had a darker factory tint. The shop is clean and waiting area very comfortable. When I took the tape off that warned not to roll the windows down for two days, there a small amount of sticky residue led on one of the the leather arm rests; probably due to the upper 90 degree weather we have been having. Gary said bring it in and we'll take care of it. While here I noticed a few tiny tiny bubbles on one corner of one window. Gary told me he would replace it I if had time. Awesome customer service. Excellent customer service! Jack is very awesome, and you can tell he really cares about his clients and his clients' needs. I wanted to get some old tint removed on my old car (1995 Honda Accord) after unsuccessfully trying to remove it myself (difficult due to old, brittle quality of tint, and because of the defroster lines on rear window), so I sent United Tint a message. Jack followed up very quickly with a message, and even called me and left me a voicemail the following day, but i got so busy I wasn't able to return the call. Jack followed up with me again about 2 weeks later (had COMPLETELY forgotten about it because of being so busy), and we spoke on phone. He was able to take care of my car that day immediately, which I was very happy about. Jack quoted me a very fair price range over the phone, and despite the job being difficult and tedious, he stuck with the low end of the range. I really appreciated this gesture, and they did a super awesome job (windows look brand new where the old gross tint used to be, and no glue residue was left on the windows at all). I never felt like I was being coaxed into purchasing something I didn't need. After hearing the price for wrapping my entire car I immediately scheduled an appointment. First let me say that picking the right tint shop for my whip(wife's car) wasn't easy, cause in SoCal everyone has tinted windows. Went here and got my Audi s4 tinted. I gave it a few days before writing a review just to make sure all was well and noticed the driver sided had small scratches going down it. I called them and owner whom is super friendly told me to come down. As I watched them I noticed they did it two times just to make sure they got it right. That is customer service right there.
