I have purchased several sets of tires from them and they never cease to amaze me! Last time I had purchased a tire while on a road trip and it was not balanced properly (from another shop). I came to the guys at United and they balanced it for free for me for being a customer for so long. I just purchased another set of tires for my other car. Come to find out my valve stem was bad on my tire. They swapped my tires, packaged the best 2 old ones, wrapped them up and put them in the trunk for spares! They gave me a new stem for free, and told me when I get my factory sensor stem I can come back and they would take care of me. Here I am at their shop right now and they are swapping out my sensor for free with literally no wait. It really isn't about the "free" part. It is about how eager they are to always help no matter what. I was definitely willing to pay, as these guys totally deserve it! Today I purchased the third set of tires from United Tire. About two years ago I stopped in there to inquire about their tires and prices, as I had just gotten a price from a well known tire store up the street and and from another store in south Everett. I felt that the prices quoted from those stores were unreasonably high . Entering United, I was politely greeted. I asked about the cost of a new set of tires for my truck. After I answered the questions about what I desired in a tire, the sales person affirmed he had the tires in stock and gave me an "out the door price" that was almost $700.00 LOWER than the other quotes I had from the other stores. I then asked about balancing, as my concern about any tire vibration was up front. He indicated that he had a recently purchased new wheel balancer that was the best unit in the industry. I then decided to have him install new tires on my truck and told him I'd be back the following morning at 9:30am. The next morning I arrived at 9:15, I gave them the keys and sat in the waiting room for almost 40 minutes and they let me know the truck was ready. I couldn't believe they did it that fast! It was amazing. Incredible! The price was exactly as quoted, the service was excellent, and the tires are smooth as silk... they know how to balance tires &wheels. I decided to put tires on the van the following week. The cost of both truck and van new tires installed was basically the same price as the shop up the street for just one set of tires. Great prices on tires but the employees have no respect for the cars they work with. One of the employees broke the studs on my car with no apology and just left it as is. It would've never happened but he forced my lug nut to fit causing the stud to break. Another employee got a lug nut stuck in a socket. Instead of safely removing the lug nut, he proceeded to slam the socket on the ground inches away from my car to remove the stuck lug nut. I asked why he would do that by my car and says he knows what he's doing. I spoke with a manager about the employees lack of care and service and he just shrugged it off like it was my fault. Always the same price but today they gad to get greedy and had to get another $20 out of me for tire disposal which they never had done before. I chose United Tire & Wheels after one of my rear tire's valve stem broke off on the day of Super Bowl LIII. I called about an hour before my walk-in and the caller was friendly and upfront with a reasonable price. After arrival, the replacement took only forty minutes. There was a warm waiting room inside with coffee, so I could watch the beginning of the Super Bowl comfortably while my car's tire was being serviced. At a glance of the interior, they have a very good selection of tires and wheels. From other reviews, it seems they do well as an emergency or last-minute walk-in service as well. I brought my vehicle to United Tire & Wheel to have a set of tires mounted. On the drive home, two improperly attached balance weights flew off of my wheels and hit my vehicle. The weights they had installed on the inside edge of my wheels were of the wrong type and did not have a secure fit. Furthermore, they did not install ANY adhesive style weights which are required to balance the outer plane of alloy wheels. In other words, they only did half of the balancing job, and even that was done completely wrong. And when I picked up my vehicle, the shop owner asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment to replace my front brake pads, apparently not realizing that they were BRAND NEW! (by the way, I am an engineer with experience servicing industrial dynamic balancing machines for wheel & tire assemblies). Considering the obvious risks created by metal balance weights flying off wheels on the freeway, the exceptionally poor work performed at this shop crosses the line from unprofessional and unscrupulous into downright dangerous. read more

Visiting the Everett area over the Easter Weekend. Unfortunately hit a median near the Tulalip Mall exit. Bent a wheel and damaged a tire. Was lucky these guys were open on a Sunday. Inspected the wheel, determined it was safe to put new tires on. Half hour later, I was on the road. Contrary to that, I have heard only good things about United Tire and Wheel, and when price shopping for a reasonable deal to mount and balance a set of tires, they were quite fair. I brought my freshly powder coated rims and tires into their shop for mount and balance and am very satisfied with the service. They did a great job, were honest and upfront with me and I have referred several people to them. Everett is a bit out of the way for me, but when Les & Discount are charging $100+ for a service that I got done there for $50, it's worth the drive. When I was there, I got quotes on winter tires and there were both fair and honest in their pricing. I will definitely use them in the future!!! read more

Bought a set of new wheels from these guys and I have to say the service was excellent. I wanted a particular set of wheels from a new company called JNC. I saw them online but wanted to support a local business. So I walked in and asked them if they could get that wheel for me. I told them the specific size and offset of the wheels and that I wanted it in white. One week later they got the wheels that I wanted from California and I picked them up. The shop also offers a good selection of other aftermarket wheels and tires. They offer financing on the wheels and tires if you need it. They are located on Evergreen Way in Everett. As soon as I parked, I was greeted by one of the workers who was assisting another customer. I took my car here for window tints. When I spoke to the owner on the phone we agreed to do a 5% tint. I wasn't able to take it in because I had work so my brother took it for me. I assumed since I had agreed on the tint with the owner, that it would be done right. My car was brought back with 20% tints, totally not what I was supposed to get! When I called the next day the owner said he would talk to the Tinter to see what happened and would call me back by the next day. I let THREE days pass and heard nothing. So I called back and he said he would talk to him, again. He called back the next day and said that they didn't make any mistakes and they would charge me $500 to fix it, even though I had already paid $300 for my tints. They really expected me to pay $800 TOTAL for something THEY messed up. They're irresponsible and don't admit faults or take blame. Cheap of course! I got 20" tires and rims for $1,700. Just don't expect them to help you with anything at all after they are on your car. They told me they would help me with anything I needed and I had a lifetime warranty on my rims and tires. Yeah OK. We were in a big hurry as she was already running late to work that day. The gentlemen were very helpful and accommodating. Took of my run flat tires without a hitch even though they are extremely difficult to work with.
