It was time for a complete overhaul, service and polishing of my three (3) most treasured and favorite Swiss timepieces. They are the Rolex Deepsea SeaDweller Professional tool watch, Omega Seamaster Professional Titanium Chronometer and Rolex GMT Master II Professional Chronometer (Coke) . In the case of the Rolex DeepSea and Omega Seamaster, the timepieces also required a new replacement mainspring and adjustment on the titanium wrist band and clasp, respectfully. I have heard great things about the proprietors at United Watch Services (UWS). Specifically, the very experienced, Rolex and Omega factory trained and highly competent brother tandem team of Jessy and Alan Dang. And really happy I did!! Within a very reasonable two (2) week time frame, my timepieces were completely out of service and done. When I went to go pick them up, I was literally floored and blown away by their overall appearance. They were literally like BRAND NEW and of showroom quality once again!! All the little nicks and superficial scratches accumulated over the years from daily wear and tear on both Rolexes were now complete history and a thing of the past! In it's place is an impeccable, flawless, and mirrored liked smooth finish and polish that has to be seen, up close and personal, to truly enjoy, admire and appreciate!! I was utterly impressed and in awe by the workmanship, patience, competency, attention to details, and devotion of Alan, the consummate professional and certified watchmaker which he truly is. Even the Omega Seamaster Professional, with it's natural titanium casing and wristband, looked brand new, very sporty and appeared out of the display case for the first time ever! I'm not sure what magic or technology are being employed here. But whatever it was, rest assured, I'm very pleased, happy, excited and grateful! WOW!! Moreover, the brothers had tested and assured me that topnotch chronometer performance and accuracy of 3-5 seconds + - daily for all my Swiss mechanical timepieces will continue unabated going forward as well. In summary, I highly recommended Jessy and Alan, of UWS, for all of your timepiece overhaul and service needs. They are the consummate watchmakers professional, through and through. They are very experienced, factory trained and highly competent watch makers, with business etiquette, ethics and integrity, beyond reproach. Additionally, I found their overall prices to be VERY fair and highly competitive. Moreover, UWS ONLY use OEM factory and genuine Rolex and Omega replacement parts. Lastly, they are both very cordial, pleasant, friendly and extremely client focused. Bottom line. UWS simply delivers in SPADES!! You will NOT be disappointed! They have definitely earned my business and trust, going forward. I will definitely be returning back to UWS for all my future watch servicing needs and requirements. You should similarly! I came in with a watch that had an issue with bent chronograph hand. The owners probably didn't know I am very meticulous about my stuff. It is extremely hard for me to find a watchsmith who I trust. The owners were absolutely friendly, talkative, and super knowledgable. Their work bench and area were awesome. Alan the main smith - incredible. Friendly and thorough. One of United's specialties is Omega. Alan, the main technician attended an Omega Technical Seminar and received the Swatch Group US, Certificate of Completion of Omega's Service Provider Training. Certificates are proudly displayed in their shop. I bought a second hand Globemaster Two Tone Sedna and brought it to Jessy and Alan to give it a fresh "new to me" start. It is always good to bring the watch in (or send it Registered Mail) for a qualified assessment. Ballpark phone estimates are not useful because you will never know what can of worms you have opened. Jessy and Alan are very honest and transparent as to what they can or cannot do - best case scenario and worst case scenario. Jessy brought the watch to Alan where he was working. My timepiece was running very slow. Best case was disassembly, cleaning, assembly, lubrication, and calibration. Worst case was a bad escapement which would cost a lot more. I also wanted a very small ding buffed out; which you can't see except close up at a certain angle. Jessy explained to me that the watch had been buffed one other time by someone else. Buffing this miniscule ding would compromise the integrity of the case so I said no. I am more than delighted at the calibration. My Globemaster is now running at +1 - far exceeding Metas as far as timing. I have another Omega which was also running slow but was sent to the service center under warranty; the best they could do was +4. Sending your Omega to the Omega Service Center will take months. Jessy and Alan did mine in less than a week. They are 50 miles away from me but it is definitely worth the drive and navigating through SF to have the work done. read more

This service is a bit overdue. My husband had our watches looked at in January 2025, but we only had enough $ at the time to service one, so we got my dad's Rolex serviced so that it would keep time accurately. It only took a week or so, and being open and able to walk in without an appointment on a Saturday was nice because a lot of other places are only open during the week or by appointment only. It is a family-run business and they are very sweet, friendly, and care about their customers. They did a great job on my dad's watch (which is one of the few things I have left of him) and would trust them to work on it again if needed. read more

I will sum this review quickly for those who are doing their research on service centers, and do not care to read the rest: Alan is an incredibly talented watchmaker, and my Rolex came out looking brand new and running perfectly. I am so glad I found United Watch after the RSC in SF closed their doors. The price was fair and expected of a master watchmaker with all Swiss equipment and training. Do not take your multi-thousand dollar Swiss watch to a jeweler, they will butcher the movement and damage the watch. Take it to Alan at United Watch Services. The rest of the story: I have been collecting watches for a long time (mostly Swiss) and I have always bit the bullet and sent them back to the factory and waited multiple months for them to return. When my reliable Rolex Submariner stopped auto winding (would randomly stop running while wearing) I knew it was time for a service. I did a lot of research and ended up settling on United Watch Services due to their Swiss credentials and stellar reviews. I was greeted by Alan's brother Jessy who is a pleasure to talk to. While he inspected the watch he took the time to share their family history and involvement with Rolex specifically. Jessy made sure to tell me that Alan would inspect the watch, give me a quote, and there would be no hard feelings if I decided to not move forward with the service. Within a day Jessy texted me the quote and took the time to call me and walk through everything that was needed on the watch. The price was very fair (most Rolex Service Centers charge about 1k just for general service and cleaning) so I went ahead with the service. Here is the real benefit of a local watchmaker, within 4 days the watch was back on my wrist looking and running perfectly - I did not have to wait 2+ months (plus shipping risk)! Alan also took the time to share some photos of the service which was an unexpected treat! As a watch enthusiast, seeing each piece of the watch taken apart, the multi level pressure testing, the cleaning machines, was all incredibly fascinating! The guys at United are the best I've had service my Omegas, hands down. Not only are they expertly trained (and will never damage your watch), but they care a great deal about the story of your watch and want to make sure it can be passed down for generations. They understand that a Timex can be as valuable as a Rolex if it was given to you by a cherished family member and will always treat your watch with the utmost care and respect. I brought my 70's omega Seamaster (passed down from my Father) and my fathers 2000's speed master for repair. I've been to so many different watch repair shops over the years with my watch. Some have damaged the watch even though they claim to be Omega certified. I found United when I got a crazy quote from another watch repair shop (2x United's price) after they'd sent the watch away to a "specialist" who assessed the watch AND LOST A SCREW! United fixed the watch for half the price and clearly knew what they were doing. The turn around was only a week and the watch came back working perfectly and looking brand new. Hello All, I had my Rolex Date/Just serviced here at San Francisco California by United Watch Services. They are certified Rolex service & repair dealer for over 30 years. My Rolex Date/Just before I inherited it was originally bought & owned by my father way back in early 70's. Since I owned the watch I have not been able to wear it because the watch was really inoperable. Possibly because I believe it was never service since the very beginning. The Rolex never worked even when you wind it off. When I brought the watch to United Watch Services the technician texted me & stated that from looking into the serial number of the watch he discovered that the Rolex was once serviced by Mr Ludwig Bernecker owner of the Rolex Service Center in San Francisco California way back on January 1975. The technician who is now servicing my Rolex Mr Alan stated that he too was a former Rolex Certified Technician at this same facility dealer in the early 1980's. Mr Alan texted me multiple photos of my Rolex when he opened it before & as well as after he completed the service. He also save the old parts for me & only used (OEM) original equipment manufacture Rolex parts. His communication with me as he repair & service my vintage Date/Just was magnificent. They just lost a potential customer for their EXTREMELY rude behaviour over the phone. We live in South Bay area and called to inquire if they can repair my husband's watch from a very reputed Swiss brand. Given the distance, I just wanted to know if they would service the model we have and give us an estimate time frame how long their watch repairs take. I do understand it's difficult to give a price, repair time or diagnosis without physically looking at the watch. But he didnt have to be EXTREMELY RUDE to a customer. As soon as I requested for an estimate, he went all hyper on me and shouted on the phone -"if you dont have the time to come, we dont have the time to repair your watch! You have to be willing to come and invest your time if you want your watch repaired!" When I still maintained my calm and asked- how long do you usually take to repair such watches, he was like : "I dont know! It can 2-4 days to weeks to 3-4 month", he said this just out of spite. Even if he was having a bad day, that gives him no right to act like this to a customer! United Watches, continue this behaviour towards customers and you'd be losing them in no time! read more

Came here many years ago to get my Omega Speedmaster to finally get one of the pushers fixed right, after several failed attempts by another "jeweler". They took it in and turned it around good as new. Fast forward to now (Feb 2021) and brought in a used watch which had some notable scuffs and scratches in the case. I was doubtful that that all of the wear and tear could be spruced up to near original condition but upon completion...the watch looked new. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the results. Very very professionally refinished case. Had the mechanical movement fully serviced as well. These guys really know their stuff. I get that this place has lots of experience but the owner does not listen to what you say and he keeps yelling whatever incoherent things he wants to scream about. He is arrogant. Service cost is high, $1k for a simple Rolex without any complication. That is a bit more than Rolex would charge. When I had to send my watch into Omega a couple of years ago for my 5yr tuneup, it took over 2 weeks and cost something like $850. They replaced a bunch of damaged components and polished my watch like new. This time, my rotor was making a lot of noise, like it had been derailed. Jessy fixed my watch in a week for less than that tuneup and after checking out all of his credentials on the wall, I'm confident he did an awesome job. I wear my Seamaster everyday and during all kinds of sports activities so it takes a beating. With a 1yr warranty on this repair, I don't have to worry. They even have me some insider tips on care that's not in the manual. Just make sure you put enough money in the meter in case the building's doorman stepped away! Small Update: When my watch was holding a charge, but the automatic movement was not working to recharge, Jessy came to my home in Walnut Creek to pick up the watch to make sure that it was working properly. Like some of the customers here on Yelp me too have been going to United for some years now and they never disappoint. The last time I went was for my Rolex that just stopped working . He fixed it in a weeks time and then some. He even replaced the gold sleeve (the one right next to the bezel). When I picked it up I was pleasantly surprised. The watch looked brand new. My first repair was a quick at-the-counter repair that the owner did free of charge. The second was a bezel repair done very fast and at a fair price. I took in my late Uncle's Omega seamaster watch several years ago, and paid $550 (including having the crown replaced) to have it fixed. My sister used it for a little over a year, when it stopped working. She returned it to me and I took it in to see what they could do. They wanted to charge me $550 to service/fix the watch. I don't know about you, but I thought that was outrageous. I will never go there again to get seriously ripped off. My advice is do not get an Omega watch, and do not take it to these guys who will rip you off. read more

I can't really give UW 5 stars or 1 stars because I ended up not using them. What I do know is their labor rate is even more expensive than the certified Cartier store. I went to UWS to change my Cartier battery and their charge rate is $85 AND it is a 1 day wait. When I realized I had to leave my watch with them , I felt a bit uncomfortable and decided to just take it to Cartier. At Cartier, $65 and within 1 hour , my watch was ready with steam air cleaning + battery replacement. How can their labor rate be more expensive than Cartier ? read more

Took my watch here last week, as one of the links in the band somehow got disconnected and fell out, however, I was able to find it nearby. The watch in question is Lancaster, a very decent luxury watch, with a white ceramic band, which is becoming very popular as of recent. The guy behind the counter took one look at my watch, grunted with disgust, and pretty much snapped at me: "Plastic! This is plastic! We don't fix...". A bit taken aback, I wanted to make sure I heard him right..."Are you sure you can't fix the band?". "No, plastic, we don't work with plastic, take it to the place you got it from". He shoved the watch back at me and proceeded to talk to another man in a language I don't understand, but in a very irritated tone of voice, and as I walked out of the shop, I heard their laughter. Really? Do you have to be so nasty to your potential customers, even if it was a cheapy plastic watch? Which it even was not. Just because you haven't worked with ceramic, doesn't mean you have to snub me and laugh in my face. Get with the times, old man!!! So I took my business to Geneva watch repair downstairs, and they fixed my watch with no problems in about a day for a reasonable price. So screw you, United, I'll be more than happy to bring my timepieces to your competitor in the future! read more

I've taken my omega here for years, but this time the servicing, which cost me $800 left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be coming here again. 1. They had to replace the gasket for the screw down crown twice in two years. I had the first replacement here too. 2. The bezel was messed up, it no longer gave a nice clicking sound. The person behind the counter insisted that he was the expert and that I was incorrect. I've had my planet ocean for several years I think I know what it sounds like, and it had no issues prior to the full servicing done here. 3. The guy behind the counter is also a complete jerk. Took my dad's 30+ year old Omega Seamaster for a quote since he's never serviced it and it started keeping time pretty poorly. They called back, gave a quote of what needed to be done. The watch had 30 years of wear and tear, some nicks, some cracks, and crap stuck within the bracelet links. They replaced all the parts with genuine Omega parts, and yes they are still available. When I got it back, I was completely blown away. The wear and tear, nicks, cracks, and crap were gone! The watch was polished and brought back alive like it was new. SHORT VERSION: Fast, efficient, courteous, professional service. Highly recommended. Thank you! LONG VERSION: somehow I bent the clasp on my watch (an Omega) so it was not closing properly. First I took it to Tourneau in the Westfield shopping center since I live nearby and I know they sell Omegas. The sales droid there took down the info/model numbers/etc. from my watch and said he'd call me with a repair estimate. Sounds good so far. Then...two weeks go by and no phone call. So, I call them and they quickly pass the buck by saying, "oh, well, the Omega rep hasn't gotten back to us with the price for the new clasp, I'll call him again, blah blah blah..." Really? You guys presumably sell quite a few Omega watches there and the rep won't return your phone calls? Sounds like some bullsh*t to me but I give them another chance. Two MORE weeks go by, still no call back from Tourneau, so I decide they do indeed suck, and jump on Yelp to look for some small watch repair business that works on nice watches, has good reviews, and might actually be responsive. That's how I found United Watch Services. I brought my watch in one day, they called me the next day with a part + labor estimate and asked if I wanted to go ahead with replacing the clasp, and then it was finished the next day. That's more like it. FINAL SCORE: * Tourneau -- 4 weeks, zero phone calls to me, zero results. Thanks for nothing. * United Watch Services: 2.5 days, called with estimate, called when the work was finished, watch fixed. I will come back here when my watch needs its regular service, new battery, or anything else. ********* EDIT: Ha. Three days after I got my watch back from UWS, the sales droid from Tourneau finally called me. Too late, gave up on you a long time ago, pal. read more
