I swear every time I come here I end up annoyed. The service is piss poor yet there's plenty of service employees available just standing around gossiping or on their phones. Majority don't acknowledge you so of course I had to try 3 different ways to get someone to help. I even called while standing there and was left on hold. Service desk ignored me on purpose and then my advisor didn't respond until I got home over an hour later. Mind you I literally was there to just pick up my car and nothing more. I am beyond disappointed with the service I received at Universal Hyundai Orlando. Our Hyundai Santa Cruz has only 5,038 miles on it and is practically brand new. Around 11:30 a.m., the front driver's side caliper locked up while we were traveling. After a local mechanic confirmed no local dealerships, including Universal Hyundai Orlando, had the part, we were directed to Universal Hyundai Orlando because the caliper was under warranty and we could get a rental car while waiting for the part to arrive. When we arrived, we immediately explained our situation to Micheal in the service department. We told him we were traveling, over four hours from home with a 2-year-old, and on our way to Kansas for my grandmother's funeral. Given the circumstances, we expected clear communication and reasonable customer service. We were told they needed to confirm the issue was warranty-related and then would provide a rental vehicle. I again explained that the mechanic had already confirmed they did not have the part, so it should be a quick determination. We were told it would take a couple of hours and were even offered a Lyft so we could leave while they checked it out. We went to Gatorland and waited for a call or text. Three hours later, we still had not heard anything, so we returned to the dealership. At that point, we were told our vehicle was "next in line." Another hour passed with no update. I asked to speak with a manager because Micheal was clearly just placating us. That is when we were directed to Pablo V. He said he would look into the situation, but I watched him spend roughly 45 minutes walking around before eventually going outside. He never returned with an update. After nearly six hours of waiting, I went outside myself to ask if we could simply get a vehicle and leave. Pablo V. was outside speaking with Micheal and told us he was not even sure the vehicle would be looked at that day because we did not have an appointment. This was the first time anyone had mentioned that possibility. I reminded him that we had explained our situation when we arrived--that we were traveling to Kansas for my grandmother's funeral and had nowhere to go until we received a rental vehicle. His response was to laugh and tell me that rental cars could not be taken out of state. At that point, all I could think about was the six hours we had wasted waiting on information that could have been communicated much earlier. Had anyone been honest with us from the beginning, we could have secured our own rental car at 1:00 p.m. Instead, we sat there all day with no meaningful updates. After that interaction, I asked one of Pablo V.'s colleagues for his business card because I intended to include him in this review. About 30 minutes later, Pablo V. came over and asked why I wanted his card. When I explained my frustration, he told me he was sorry that I had "interpreted his actions wrongly," effectively blaming the customer instead of taking responsibility. What made the conversation even more frustrating was that he then informed me he was not even the manager of the service department and could not really help with the situation. Had I known that from the beginning, I could have gone directly to the appropriate person instead of wasting more time. We finally left Universal Hyundai Orlando at 8:00 p.m. in a rental car that we had to pay for ourselves. Vehicle problems happen, and I understand dealerships get busy. What I do not understand is the lack of communication, the wasted time, and the dismissive attitude we experienced from Pablo V. and the staff. A nearly brand-new Hyundai Santa Cruz with only 5,038 miles should not have experienced a caliper failure, and customers dealing with an unexpected breakdown while traveling to a family funeral deserve far better treatment. We lost over eight hours, are now a day behind schedule, and still left paying for our own rental car. This was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever had. Understandable as due to the holiday season everyone was coming in to get their vehicle looked at, however at that point a courtesy vehicle would have been nice. I am extremely disappointed with my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy. This is supposed to be a top-of-the-line family SUV, but my experience has been nothing but stressful and unacceptable. My vehicle developed a transmission problem after just 3 months of use and with only 2,800 miles on it -- on a brand new car. That alone is already extremely concerning. My vehicle then sat at the dealership for over 30 days due to this issue. To make matters worse, when I finally got the car back, it was returned in terrible condition. The interior was dirty, the steering wheel -- which is light grey -- was covered in black grease from mechanic hands, and there was a strong, unpleasant smell inside the car. After keeping my vehicle for over a month, they couldn't even do the bare minimum of returning it clean and properly cared for. Then, the very same week I got the car back, news broke about a safety recall involving the rear power seats -- the same model I own -- after a tragic fatal incident involving a child. As a mother of a young child, this was extremely disturbing and made me lose even more confidence in this vehicle. I have only owned Honda vehicles in the past, and I deeply regret switching to Hyundai. The salesperson assured me that Hyundai was an extremely safe and reliable brand, but my experience has been the complete opposite. Between serious mechanical issues, poor service, and now major safety concerns, I regret this purchase. I've been a customer of this dealership since 2012 when I bought my first Hyundai vehicle, and it has been frustrating to watch the service department go downhill year after year. My recent visits have been incredibly time-consuming because simple services now take 4+ hours. I've learned to dread my appointments. As a single mom, I have to schedule strategically just to get an oil change because it ends up taking nearly an entire day. They also clearly overbook, and having an appointment means nothing. Every visit feels like a long, unpredictable wait with no respect for people's time. Their communication is terrible. They added a text-based service to reach advisors, which I initially thought would help, but they rarely respond. At my most recent appointment, my check engine light came on on my way there, and they recommended I leave my car overnight on a Saturday. They had no loaners available since it was the end of the day, so I had to arrange a ride. I was told my car would be looked at first thing Monday morning when they opened at 7am, but I did not receive a diagnostic until around 11am. By 5pm the same day I still had no update after calling three different times and being told I would receive a call from the service advisor. I even had to leave a voicemail because no one picked up. They are not even giving me an update so I can plan the rest of my day, figure out transportation, or helping to arrange a loaner for the inconvenience. I need my car to take my daughter to school, and after giving this place chance after chance for years, it is clear this service department has become a major inconvenience. Now 3,000 miles later the harness for all electrical went out and they are telling me they are working on it, however I just found out it was replaced at 34 miles! This was not disclosed to me when purchased or on its Carfax report. This tells me it's a lemon, but they just say they will fix it and call me when it's ready. My 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe was towed to Universal Hyundai. I have bought 4 or 5 cars from this dealership in the past, something I will never do again. On this toublesome occaision my Santa Fe with approx 5,000 miles on it would not run properly, the engin light was on and the vehical would not move over a mile an hour making loud engin noises. I parked the car in the AdventHealth Hospital in Kissimmee, Fl where my wife had passed that day. I left the car in their lot and the next day called Hyundai and had them tow it, unfortunately they tow to the nearest dealership which was Universal. Later that day I receive a text from the dealership and being that the message was vague I replied to it but never received a answer. I also received an email that said they did a recall on the car but did not say the car was ready for pickup. It just showed an invoice of $0.00. I tried numerous times to call the service dept and the main number but it either disconnected me, rang with no answer, or using other numbers I found in their online searches connected me to the wrong places. After a number of attempts today I was told that no email or text had been sent to me, strange that I clicked on the link and was connected to their dept. I asked to talk to the owner as in their recorded message, they pride themselves that they are privately owned and customer service comes before anything. This cannot be true because they transferred me, not to the owner but to some person in charge who I was told would return my call after they finshed lunch at 2pm. I guess lunch comes first instead of taking care of a customer, prolonging the aggrivation that has been going on for 24 hours. Oh did I mention, last night I spoke to a supposed management member with the same name as this person who is to busy to handle the issue because he is having lunch, as I believe he is the same person who told me last night at 7pm that he would check on the car and call me back in a few minutes. No call received. There must be no other management person in that dealership but him who can resolve whether my car is ready for pickup. Twenty four hours and no answer to my question. Stay away from this dealership at all costs, in the past it's the only place that you schedule an oil change, drive 35 miles on toll roads to get there and the can't do it because they don't have an oil filter for the job, the answer come back the next day. Or have an appointment for an oil change and it takes over 6 hours waiting for it and only because I aked about it did it get completed. November 17th, bought a new 2025 Venue SEL and at no time did the salesperson tell me there was only ONE entry key fob, which cost $500... After the paperwork and handing a check over, they dropped that bomb on me, the other key was missing... So now someone out there has a way to enter my car, hit the engine start and off they go... After days of calling they then tell me it was lost on delivery of the vehicle which means they lied to me on a contract and cashed the check...Contacted Hyundai HQ, filed a complaint with the loan bank, BBB bad review, Orlando PD non-violent crime division, VA legal services next week.... They know just how far to push the law in their favor and not in yours... AVOID this dump at all costs !!!! read more

I've consistently had issues with the customer service at this location. Most recently, I reached out multiple times for an estimate, but no one followed up. Despite expressing my concerns and being assured that someone would contact me, I never heard back. When I reiterated my frustration--mentioning that poor customer service seems to be a recurring problem--I finally received a message saying a sales representative would reach out. Although they did, there was, unfortunately, no follow-through. A similar experience occurred at another location. I reached out for an estimate and was again assured that someone would be in contact. I even mentioned my previous experience where no one followed up and was reassured this time would be different. Unfortunately, there was still no follow-up, even after I reached out again. This ongoing pattern of unresponsiveness and lack of accountability is disappointing. I've never experienced a dealership with so many issues before and will not be taking my car back there for service. I made an appointment at 8 am to take my car in for service and when I showed up they told me id have to leave the car there because they wouldn't be looking at it until the end of the day and told me they didn't have loaner vehicles available. Well I had to go to work so I couldn't leave it there/ What's the point of an appointment if they won't look at it until the end of the day? I sent an email to the GM and was called right away by the technician about getting a loaner vehicle. I came back a few days later to drop off my car and pick up a loaner and the loaner vehicle they pulled up for me wasn't clean and stunk of poop and had trash in it from the previous person. So they sent me back inside while they pulled up a new one. Next vehicle they bring two of the tires had low pressure. Now why would they put their customers safety at risk and not fill up the tires? As soon as I got into the car I drove it up and asked them to fill the tires. The service guy filled the two tires and didn't bother to check the other 2. As soon as I drove off the lot and onto the freeway the other 2 lights came on with low tire pressure. You can tell this dealership just doesn't care at all. Wish I could rate it 0 stars. They tried to change our interest rate to a higher rate, they made us buy their car insurance before we could take the car even though we already had insurance and they "conveniently forgot" we had given a $500 deposit even though we reminded the finance person which meant some of the paperwork had to be redone. In Florida, you have 7 days to add a new car to your policy, they said we had to do it right then with their broker which was a lie. My daughter took her Kona in for her 6 month service and told them at the time that the washer fluid seemed to be empty and to make sure they checked it. When they were done, she specifically asked them and they said they took care of it. When she got home the windshield washer fluid was still not working so we bought some and put it in (also checking the oil and other fluids because we now didn't trust anything they did). It still didn't work. So, she took it back in and they charged her $140 to "clean" the wiper fluid motor?? They told her she messed it up by putting in washer fluid. I call BS! This is a 2024 Kona with an extended warranty. Wondering if their "fix" will even last. We'll see. Wish we could take it somewhere else for servicing! Completely terrible experience . I brought my car in to be repaired and they completely took advantage of me. My car was suppose to be repaired and the day after picking my car up my check engine light came on. They claim to have changed my engine but I do not believe that was done. They charged me almost 1300$ & the next day my car started breaking down. Also some racism toward black & brown people . My wife and I had to stand and wait 10 minutes for Camillo to stop having a conversation with their coworker and acknowledge us. I called the manufacturer to confirm that I had warranty . Though I didn't have warranty I do have extended warranty my sales person would not recognize my extended warranty. It's a shame how these businesses take advantage of hard working Americans. Due to this unconvinced I have to miss more of work to go back and have them look at my car again. At this point I wouldn't recommend anyone go to this dealership. Alright, if you take a look back through my reviews, you'll see that I usually take to Yelp to inform the Orlando area of places that are worth checking out. Today, I'm going to give everyone an establishment to AVOID. Let's start at the beginning of 2022, when my partner and I decided to trade in our older vehicle to buy new. No surprise, but they shorted me about $3k in the trade-in for the vehicle (they even had to adjust it after he low-balled me the first time, then went to verify it on KBB and saw even in the worst condition, my vehicle was worth more money than they were offering). Anyway, I could have declined, but didn't. The same model of vehicle in worse shape with 60k more miles on it was being sold for 200% of what they offered me, but again, I didn't decline. So take that with a grain of salt. My biggest issue with them was recent. As I said, we purchased a brand new Hyundai Ioniq 5 from them in March of 2022. In December of 2022, the vehicle was involved in a minor collision with debris on the highway. As the car was so new, a smaller shop wasn't able to service it because they did not have the parts available, so we had it towed back to the Hyundai dealership. Let me clarify: this review isn't about the shortage on a trade-in nor about the lack of supplies for a new vehicle - things like this can be expected. What was completely unacceptable, however, was how Universal Hyundai kept my vehicle for nearly four straight weeks without a single attempt to contact us after repeated requests. Here's what happened: The incident occurred in December '22. We brought it in and they repaired the vehicle, but it was making strange clicking noises when turning and the alignment wasn't driving straight. Again, new car issues, perhaps. We brought it back in on a Friday evening. Mario, the service advisor, suggested we keep the car until Sunday night as long as we felt safe, as the vehicle wouldn't be looked at until Monday morning. With that said, we left it that same Sunday after-hours. From here, we heard nothing for almost four weeks. Universal Hyundai has the right steps in place to keep the owner informed - there is a texting service where you can receive updates as the service member is able vs. needing to get them on the phone. With that said, we called and left voicemails for Mario, responded to the texts pleading for an update, and requested manager callbacks with multiple representatives. None of this happened. I proceeded to go to Hyundai after about the first two weeks they had our car again (I needed to remove objects from the car), and no one came out to talk to me as I requested. I asked to speak with a manager or for a callback and still have never received one. So why would I caution to NEVER go here? I know convenience of a dealership is important, and there aren't usually a ton of options for a specific kind of vehicle, but... honestly, I'd take my chances just about anywhere else. After all was said and done, no one ever reached out to us, no one ever came out to speak to us in the waiting room, etc. They just charged us the money to fix the vehicle (of which they've had for nearly six weeks of the time since we've owned it), and never so much even issued an apology or a suggestion as to how they'd prevent it from happening again. So, with all of that said: I'm hoping I just had the worst luck. The gentleman on the phone sounded as though he wanted to help, but he seemed to be the first POC when you call the dealership and routes you to the correct party, not an individual who could remedy the situation himself. This, to me, appears to be a lack of leadership vs. a lack of employee communication. How someone can request a manager callback almost five separate times over the span of this time and NEVER having received a callback, either the employees are hiding the callback requests or management just doesn't care. read more

Well I like reviews because service matters to me. While at work in Orlando my car breaks down (of-course) nevertheless I find the closest dealer to my hotel Universal Hyundai. I see the reviews and say dear Jesus should I go there or drive my stalling car to a further location. Well I took my chances. The issues was a transmission coil of course covered under the awesome Hyundai warranty. ( shut I sound like an infomercial) I received assistance from Andres assistant service manager. Gentlemen was nice. Awesome approach to the situation took care of my rental immediately explained the time service would take and put me at ease for my worries. I truly believe by reading some of these complains that some of this customers are extremely petty, and may need a little bit of TLC at home before they bring the drama to a place where people have no control of the situation am happy I came here and I recommend their service Department. read more

The worst deception! My best friend, Rosely, went on Sunday 7/16/2023 to this "Universal Hyundai" dealership located at: 12801 S. Orange Blossom Tr. Orlando, FL 32837. Unfortunately she visited the dealership alone and what this seller named Mustafa did was take advantage of that. First, while she was very excited on a video call with me and my husband to ask us several questions, Mr. Mustafa was interfering in our conversation and refuting the arguments that we were telling our friend. Which I found tacky and disrespectful. He, as a "seller" convinced my friend that this was the right car for her because of everything it has and blah blah blah. Never mind that the miles were a little high for the year of the car (2021) etc. He told her that the car had never had an accident. (according to Carfax) and that it had been certified and inspected by the Dealer for which it has all the guarantees that exist. Whoever inspected this car is a completely INEPT!! When she arrived at my house on Monday afternoon, 7/17/2023, as soon as she got off work, my husband and I inspected the car to be disappointed that it had been in an accident (Not reported in the Carfax) but clearly noticiable by just looking at the front end, again who inspected and certified this car without notice the damage. The car has a broken right front headlight, the hood is slightly out of place, the paint is not even, it has a cracked bar (front grill), the H emblem is all scratched(caused by incorrect removal and reattach) As if that were not enough, my friend does NOT know about cars here in Florida and this BOLD and INCONSIDERATE, sold her a new license plate claiming that she could NOT use the license plate that she has because she owe a few tolls and that she simply had to go to the DMV to turn in the old license plate to receive a credit without even explaining what credit she was receiving from the DOT or what does that even mean. The only thing this individual had to do was to give her a temporary paper tag until she, in 30 days or sooner, could make the arrangements and pay her fines. Then notify the Dealer and they could manage the tag transfer!!! There was no reason for Mustafa to sell her a new license plate!! I explained to her what that "credit" means which is for a future 2nd license plate "if" she ever need one ever. I don't know, if he is a new seller, little experience etc. Whatever the reason, I don't care. IT WAS NOT A FAIR DEAL!!! This Dealer must better guide their sellers and supervise the processes. They have to be honest with customers and not take advantage of the situation of a person or someone who does not master the subject! El peor engaño! Como si fuera poco, mi amiga NO domina el tema de los carros acá en la Florida y este DESCARADO y DESCONSIDERADO , le vendió una tablilla nueva alegando que NO podía usar la tablilla que ella tiene porque le aparecen multas de algunos toles!!! Y que simplemente ella tenía que ir al DMV para entregar la tablilla para que le dieran un crédito sin siquiera explicarle a qué crédito se refería. Por Diossss lo único que tenía que hacer este individuo era, darle a ella una tablilla de papel provisional hasta que ella, en 30 días o antes pudiese hacer las gestiones y pagar sus multas. This is the worst experience ever!!!! Hyundai Santa Fe 2020 stolen, had towed to their center to have repaired with expectation of professionalism. Dropped off to location by tow company, took two days for them to let me know they had vehicle. I called ahead and prepared them it was coming. Back passenger window broken, steering column ripped apart. Was told vehicle was dirty and would be cleaned and all inspections would be made after repairs. Fast forward 5 to 6 weeks later. Get a call finally repaired. Show up at dealership. ZERO gas in vehicle, I am realist and do not expect to have a full gas tank but, not even enough to start the car!! They had to send a technician to get gas with a gas can. They asked me if I wanted to take a can and get it!!!! I just stared as I was in work clothes. One HOUR later there is gas and I pay for the repairs with the highest expectation of quality work. Get into the vehicle and turn on. First thing observed, the vehicle was never washed, weed from car thief's in the cup holder and passenger seat, front not vacuumed with chip or food crumbs everywhere (none of this from me), white writing on front windshield on vehicle evidently identifying repairs needed there (never cleaned off). Before I put the car into drive (as I am already extremely annoyed) warning light says blinker isn't working. Then I noticed there is NO REARVIEW MIRROR!!!. Get out of vehicle and go talk to maintenance gentleman, who was visibly annoyed with level of care and quality of service (because the individual who was managing my repairs and communicating was not working that day). We both were baffled as to no one noticing the mirror missing or warning light. The tech invoice indicated a 200 point inspection was done on vehicle. Obviously not done!!!. Fast forward 4 HOURS later!!! and blinker is fixed and now they have to order replacement parts and I have to leave with vehicle. The gentleman was extremely nice and apologetic with the quality of service. I get home an hour later (5 hours after I get there to pick up a vehicle with expectations of all work and cleaning being done). I further inspect vehicle and there is a large scratch on the exterior of the door that had been touch up painted and was not there prior to theft. Window chrome trim bent and damaged, though they said in paperwork it was repaired. Rubber guide on window cut and damaged (not repaired as indicated). Interior of door has two large gashes not identified from glass and intrusion in vehicle. Dirty mechanic fingerprints all over car. Large chunks of glass under car seats and in door threshold (Insurance paid for cleaning). Have three kids. Unacceptable!! Individual in charge of my repairs not responsive to myself or insurance company. Dismissive with my call and put excuse on other not doing their job, at the end of the day they should have inspected prior to me picking up and would have seen everything I identified. Job was not done. Insurance company attempted to call about the non repairs, missed mirror and indicated they believe their number has been blocked. Called four times to talk to management and left GM voicemail. Over 36 hours later nothing done but repair manager stating I need to go to bodyshop even though they missed these items because they dont do these repairs onsite. Am a USAA insurance policy holder and Veteran. Would never recommend this location. read more

Instead of fixing the issue all there doing is clearing the codes and giving the car back to me. Why would anyone buy a car if servicing a new, or even 2 year old car, is so painful. New or used, it doesn't matter. Service is so broken. Been waiting on an "emergency" service after having been told by the dispatcher/operator to just bring it in as appointments are only available 45 days from now. A service guy came up and plugged in the osdbu and found its probably a defective gas cap (still under warranty). Then all I had to do was find a service manager to write it up for service so I could get the cap. Been sitting in service Lane for 35 minutes now. At this point, service managers walk by and avoid looking at me. Why? Why can't they just say something professional and either let me go on my way or give me a statement on their intentions. I see why they have 87 reviews as 1's. Took my Hyundai sonata hybrid here for repairs, terrible customer service and overall service. Had a service rep named Felix, he's the worst. Dropped car off on Monday and didn't hear from him for four days, so I called and he finally returned my call and said they only have two prople that works on hybrids and he would call by the end of the day. Don't hear from him until the next day and he said it was the hybrid battery and I could come pick the car up. So, I was wondering why he didn't give me a quote for repair. I went to get the car and the lady said it I have to pay the diagnostic fee of $183 and I asked why he just call and said I can pick the car up. She looked over the estimate for repair and it was almost $11,000 crazy. Called around and had the car towed from Universal Hyundai to battery zones express the same day and she said it would be ready the next day. Battery $850 and $200 to install. Typical Florida car dealer shenanigans. The advertised price is obviously not even close to the out the door price. They pull the classic "you must finance with us" and "you must have a trade in" to get some advertised price. Their OTD price is full of junk fees and questionable practices. Their selling techniques are also right out of the 1980s car dealer methods. Talk to a sales rep, sales rep goes and gets the "finance manager" who is nice until you don't do exactly what they want then they get increasingly more combative and personal in their attacks. Classic lines like "we have to keep the lights on" "I need to feed my family" etc. My favorite old school slimy car dealer technique was when I was sitting there and magically one of the two cars I was looking at "sold to an out of state buyer" just right at that exact moment. Amazing! LOL. Sure enough, days later the car that "sold" is still being advertised and is available when I checked. If you want to go into an old school dealer with outdated tricks and games this is the place for you. I would suggest making a bingo card with classic and ridiculous dealer phrases and games and bring some friends to play as you talk to these people. Pretty hilariously bad! read more

The best car dealership in Orlando! I bought my car from them last fall. I have had to come in for oil changes and routine maintenance and the staff in the service area are so thorough. Recently I had a nail in my tire, and they were able to get me in same day for repair. They sent me a video of them inspecting each tire and under the hood! Truly no detail goes unnoticed. I am very happy with my current vehicle but when it is time to upgrade I will absolutely be doing business with Universal Hyundai. I will never go anywhere else for my service needs! read more

I am beyond frustrated and incredibly disappointed after what should have been a dream turned into a nightmare. After three weeks of driving my brand-new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe, we received a letter from the motor vehicle department informing us that my wife's driver's license had been suspended. Why? Because there was an incorrect VIN number on the vehicle. This mistake has completely upended our lives. We immediately went to Universal Hyundai, hoping they could help us resolve the issue, but the experience was nothing short of horrendous. We waited for a long time just to get any help, and when we did finally speak with someone, it was from the finance department--who, frankly, couldn't care less about fixing the problem. It's as if once the vehicle is sold, they wash their hands of it and couldn't care less about the consequences the customer faces. I had to practically beg for them to address the situation, which caused so much stress for my wife. She was terrified--what if she had been stopped by the police? What if she had ended up in jail because of their mistake? We've lost precious time, my wife lost days of work, and it felt like no one at Universal Hyundai cared to help. The treatment we received was appalling. I spoke with one of the "big managers," and frankly, he didn't care about our problem at all. It was clear that they have no interest in standing behind their customers once they've made the sale. I'm livid that a simple mistake has cost us so much, and I'm disgusted by the total lack of accountability or concern from Universal Hyundai. I would never, EVER recommend doing business with them. They don't deserve my time, my money, or my trust. Please, if you're considering buying a car from them, make absolutely sure everything is in order because in my experience, once you drive off the lot, you're on your own--and they don't care. I was privileged to test drive this incredible machine a few days ago. Just have to say, you don't need to have a dealership made of platinum (Audi of North Orlando I visited). The sales representatives are the pillars of their brand. The times we are going through at the moment are challenging to say the least. I have been looking for a car for a while and even though i did not buy from here because of the shortage in the market and other factors. Darrin Diaz was able to bring a level of customer service that never seemed overwhelming. He and the GM Giovanni where attentive and knowledgeable about this impressive brand (Genesis). about 2 weeks ago I went to have some maintenance done on the car. After arriving for my 10am appointment and waiting 11 HOURS!!! I was finally able to leave with my car at 9pm!!! I come home and notice that I have an oil leak. In the 7 years of owning my car, I've never had an oil leak on my vehicle before. I had to return 2 weeks later, it was the only time I was able to return, to have motor oil leak taken care of. I arrive and they tell me my appointment is for 3pm. Even tho I spoke to someone over the Phone and they said they would email me an appointment for sometime between 10am-11am. luckily they were able to still take my car in ahead of everyone else. The wait was a lot shorter this time around about 2 hours. I do not Recommend this place to anyone. read more

I thought I was safe buying from a large dealer, selling a "Certified" car, with a "Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty" But instead I ended up purchasing: - A car with existing safety issues (broken headlight, loose bodywork) - A car with "no accidents" yet it had low-quality bodywork on 90% of the body panels. The bodywork was so poor, 9 days after purchase, half of the rear bumper detached at highway speed causing additional damage. - A "service contract" misrepresented as a "Bumper to Bumper Warranty", that literally does not even cover the bumper that fell/tore off at highway speed. - A car with two bent rims that THREE different tire shops were unable to balance properly, resulting in vibration at highway speed. How does a car become "Certified" when it has bodywork so bad it falls apart at highway speed, has a broken headlight that cannot be aimed properly, and has two bent rims? How does a salesperson get away with selling a "service contract" by misrepresenting it as a "Bumper to Bumper Warranty", that does not cover any of the above issues?! When presented with this information the salesperson, finance person, and the manager all told me they will not help me and it's my problem. Common courtesy / good business would at least make a small effort to make sure the customer was pleased with the transaction. Universal Hyundai did not even try. read more
