The floor was popping up all over the place. There were circular saw cut marks in the middle of the kitchen. One of the mirrors on the bedroom closet was completely broken and there were tears in the awning with tape on them. None of that was shown or listed! Hailey attempted to tell me the problem with the floor by using a word that she knew nothing about! I told her that is my exact industry that I have owned a business in for decades! I also had asked her before we drove over if this unit had the winterized insulation package. She replied and said that it did. She is a lying and deceitful fast talking and pathetic salesperson with no professionalism! We knew this unit was used but we were still considering the purchase. My wife asked her if the price could be reduced due to all of these undisclosed problems. She said no. On top of that we were told that we "must" by some insurance from them in order to drive it off the lot! I knew that this was yet another complete lie. I stood up and announced that there would ve no purchase from such a lying and deceitful business! We left. At this point they are still holding out $500 deposit! They have had 5 hours to refund it. I probably wouldn't take something fro free from these Hucksters! Her father, who's name I didn't catch was involved as well. Stay far away! Buyer Beware!

PROS - Lichtsinn's volume of online instructional videos was helpful before the purchase and afterwards.  I flew in to Minneapolis, the pickup and drive down to Lichtsinn worked great The RV itself has been all I hoped for and more The orientation process Lichtsinn providing a loaner vehicle  The service and parts department.  I have called about 5 times over the 1st 6 months with questions and they have all been answered professionally. Some of the names I recall of people who have been very helpful:  Justin, Hannah, Cade, Stacy, Jeremy (sorry I'm not remembering everyone's names). CONS - Primarily related to the salesman I was randomly given when I first sent an email inquiry about available stock. When I brought up the idea of a 3rd party inspector (which I paid for) reviewing the vehicle before I flew in, the initial response was Reed tried to talk me out of it. When I flew in to purchase the vehicle there were a couple of items not completed from the inspection.  It appeared that Reed hadn't reviewed the inspection items.  He then tried to blame the service department. Two weeks ago I had an issue with my steps malfunctioning while I was traveling out of the country.  I called Lichtsinn towards the end of the day.  The operator forwarded me to Reed.  Reed said he would try to get someone from service.  The phone was placed on hold for 10 minutes and then finally went dead.  I called him back and left a voicemail for him.  I then called back again and Hannah (I believe she is in Accounting) was super helpful and tried to help.  I still haven't heard from Reed. For the most part Lichtsinn was reputable.  After the most recent incident it was appropriate to leave this feedback.  If you have a choice on salesperson, I would consider this. Thank you.   Steve H.

Al's did a good job rigging the outboard on my new Lund boat…read more Unfortunately they failed to latch the stern compartment door shut and the door flung open on the interstate and chipped the cover of the outboard while I was driving my brand new boat home. When I got the boat home I noticed that the outboard battery leads were only hand tightened. Little did I know that these were a prelude of things to come. The electronic rigging was awful. Al's had little knowledge on rigging boat electronics and I had multiple issues that included: 1.) Multiple connectors that came loose from wiring because they were too small, not adequately crimped, and only a couple were heat shrunk. Example: The positive battery cable to the bow of the boat came loose my second time out because Al's connected it to a small wire gauge spade connector instead of a properly sized battery cable ring connector. The connector they installed was many sizes too small for the battery cable and not heat shrunk to the cable so of course it came loose. 2.) A required on/off switch was not installed and it killed the outboard battery. 3.) Two 15" fish finders were hooked up to the outboard battery instead of a dedicated deep cell battery as specified by the manufacturer. 4.) Al's mounted the trolling motor heading sensor touching a bundle of cables that included the throttle cable, directly in a magnetic field - the worst possible spot on the boat (I was unable to calibrate the trolling motor until I troubleshoot the incorrect rigging which required moving and re-wiring the heading sensor). 5.) The trolling motor was loose. Turns out one of the 4 bolts used to mount it to the bow of the boat was too short and there was no nut on the other end. The other 3 bolts were loosely tightened, one of which I was able to turn by hand. Had I not noticed this early on, chances are the trolling motor would have eventually ended up on the bottom of a lake or the middle of an interstate. 6.) I had Al's mount an SI transducer to the bottom of the trolling motor. It came loose my third time out and was hanging by it's cable when I returned to the dock. 7.) I asked Ryan to only use block fuses, no in-line fuses. I had the following written into the contract that he signed: "Block fuse holders with minimum of 4 open slots for future adds". This could not have been clearer. Yet, Al's only installed a block fuse holder at the helm, not the bow - Instead they installed a tinny little electronic spade connector power strip (I remember these from my old stereo receivers from the early 1970's). There were multiple in line fuses instead of block fuses in the bow. It's since been replaced with a proper marine fuse block with ring connectors. Between the time I spent fixing multiple rigging issues (one of which left me stranded on the water), to the dollars I spent having a knowledgeable mechanic fix the rigging issues that I was unable to fix, to the weekends that were ruined because of dead batteries, loose connections and incorrect rigging, I wish to God that I had not purchased the boat from Al's Specialty Marine. Electronic rigging was most certainly not a "Specialty" at Al's Specialty Marine. The workmanship was disgraceful. This was a major disappointment. The only positive was that I learned a lot about rigging a boat while I troubleshoot and fixed a continuous array of problems. Needless to say, I made huge mistake buying the boat from Al's Specialty Marine and will never do business with them again. Neither will any of my fellow fishing club members, some of whom were on the boat when it died on the water. Word gets around.
