Wow, I wish I had read these reviews before coming here! This office is filled with completely incompetent employees and doctors. They do not pass messages along, they don't communicate with the pharmacy properly, they gave me incorrect information on the phone multiple times, and worst of all they rush you out of the office after talking for just a couple of minutes. The doctor kept interrupting me, stating outright that they had to leave after just a couple minutes. It is clear that we are just cash to them. They want you in and out in 30 seconds. They were incredibly insensitive and will charge a fortune for nothing. I am going to tell my primary care doctor not to refer any of her patients to them again. read more

I was charged about $400 to have a mole removed and tested, then they sent it somewhere else without telling me how much it cost or anything about it really. It cost me another $200. I still haven't got the results back months later but I know based on the billing that they have the results. I've been charged $600 for nothing. read more

I had a small surgery here in 2019 and it went well. 2 weeks later, I came back to remove stitches and for the most part it went ok, except 10 days later I noticed part of my wound wasn't healing properly - all because they missed one stitch. The stitches were non-absorbable and this one would stick for a very long time and could cause issues. I removed it myself - thankfully, it wasn't too difficult or too late. I spent good amount of money for the procedure, yet that was my experience... Since then I changed my dermatologist. read more

I went in for some boils in my groin area and three people walked in without even introducing themselves. They immediately told me to drop my pants so they could see. I told them "nevermind, I dont want to do this" and was clearly very uncomfortable as I was shaking, my voice was shaking, and I was picking my nails. The main person looked at me and said "I don't understand what the problem is." Instead of being kind and reassuring, she was quite rude. I said "there are too many people" and then they offered to leave. I would not recommend, just based on my experience. If you are wanting a place that will listen and be kind and reassuring, do not come here. read more

Not really happy w/ general service but when had a 'consult' about radiation on a small spot on my finger, I was shocked. The oncologist (Dr. Marvel) insisted on reading me the consent form, said 'no one is doing surgical removal', marked less than 10 lines on my finger, scheduled another 'consult' in 3 weeks - due to Covid-19 and charged nearly $1000. I got a second opinion from Randall Dermatology in Kokomo, he removed the area surgically THAT DAY and total charge was significantly less. I protested the billing from UDC and got nowhere. Would not go to them under any circumstances. read more

WTF.... when I arranged the appointment with these people, I was told that for $125 they would remove all of the skin tags I had that I wanted removed. After I questioned that statement, the receptionist placed me on hold and asked the doctor again to be certain. She verified they would remove any I wanted for that one price... I told them I had 6 or 8 to be removed and they assured me: "no-problem!" After I arrived for the appointment, they had me wait for an hour to see the doctor - a female doctor named Smith - and then they said that they had "only scheduled me for a consultation appointment" and would not waste the time to remove my skin tags. They had the nerve to demand their payment in advance and acted offensive about everything. I requested my money back. They hesitated but finally relented... I would not use these people ever or recommend them to anyone, even an enemy... THEY SUCK !!! read more

I recently had a "tumor" removed from my right arm from your practice. Your doctor (Dr. Z) did a biopsy on the "tumor". Your practice said that the "tumor" was probably Primary or metastic B Cell Lymphoma. Your practice was wrong. You forwarded my tests due to the Cleveland Clinic for a 2nd opinion. The Cleveland Clinic did not say it was Lymphoma either. Your practice told me on the phone one day that the Cleveland Clinic said it was Lymphoma, which it was not. I recently had my blood sent to the Mayo Clinic and there is no evidence that I have Lymphoma, I have copied and pasted the results to the bottom of this message. How can your clinic diagnose something when a patient does not have it all? The only thing I might have is a small pleural effusion on of my lungs but it's not Lymphoma. I already had a CT scan on my lungs and everything was normal. I told my family and friends that I had Lymphoma because you organization said it was and that you told me that the Cleveland Clinic's diagnosis was the same (which it was not). I am getting one more full body CT scan done this week to double check. You are free to contact my Oncologist for my information, you have their contact info. read more

If anyone is thinking about having micro needling done in the Muncie location I highly suggest you don't! My face is now messed up for life! I went in to show Aubrey the damage and she said micro needling should do the opposite of what it did to my face because of all the lines that now look like wrinkles and she acted like I wanted something for free. all I want is my face fixed! So I went somewhere else and payed 1400 for a co2 Lazer and that did nothing to help the lines that micro needling caused . So I called back up to the university of dermatology to talk to someone in charge they said Angie will call me later but guess what they won't even bother returning a phone call..my face is now messed up for life!! I would give Kristie zero stars but it's not allowed. The WORST massage ever. She never touched my thighs. The creme was so thick that it felt like being rubbed with motor oil. It was like someone rubbing "lotion" on you not a massage. The same tight shoulder I went in with was there when I left. I don't think she knows what she is doing or completely forgot. She even left me uncovered and I had to ask for her to cover my back. No water afterwards and I had to "find" my way out. Awful. Stay clear. read more

Went through the cool sculpting procedure. The representative that sold me the treatment said that 4 treatments would be equal to a surgical tummy tuck and no fat would grow in the adominal area again. Cost $4400 and did not work after 4 treatments. 4 months after the treatment I called them and the representative said I'd hear back from them but never did. I left 3 messages on their answering machine and got no reply. It's a year and a half later. Any suggestions? read more

Awful place to go if you want to look better. I've had micro needling done a year ago . I still have the scars . Aubre messed up my face. I just wanted to look better. Now I have scars on my face from the micro needling. Aubrey agreed that micro needling shouldn't have left scars but it did. They have done nothing to help me get rid of the scars Aubrey caused to my face. Every time I look in the mirror that's all I see. No amount of money can change the scars she caused. Now I don't date anyone. I don't take pictures of myself. So before you decide to have any procedure please do research on the establishment and the person doing the work. The receptionist was sweet, the paperless check in was very handy. Outside of that, my visit was not good. Without asking questions or looking at the issue they made suggestions that anyone could find on the internet. After a few seconds of them telling me to do x, i realized they hadn't even looked at my chart. I expressed a concern and the nurse mocked me in the hallway to the MD. I overheard the entire thing through the door. They were very condescending. After getting a second opinion, it was clear they dropped the ball. I wouldn't recommend going here. read more

I am more than disappointed in the services at UDC, in Richmond and Muncie! I paid for 3 laser treatments for brown pigments on my face, one more prominent than others. I paid in advance $50 an open house special. The treatment had no effect, so I was told it could take as much as 3 or 4. I paid for two more, still no correction.. I then consulted with the PA Laine, and she said that I needed to see her because she has the correct Laser and that one was in Muncie which is the one just for brown spots and the one they used in Richmond was for red pigments. She gave me one free laser treatment for my trouble, it seemed like with the pain that it was working but later I realized it didn't really make a difference. At the same time I also had some filler in my cheeks at a cost of 800.00.!! I had expected some small bruising but the bruise on one of my cheeks was so bad, it lasted over three weeks to go away. On the other cheek a small bump appeared like a blister, or pimple, and it began to seep liquid, I figured the filler. It kept seeping over a week and it finally stopped but now I have a permanent bump on my cheek. It obviously was damage to some cells under my epidermis. I told her about it on my return visit, and she said if it doesnt go away in a few weeks she would scrape it off! No thanks, to a scar on my face!! I was there for a second Laser treatment, and she said that it had been only 8 weeks for the laser to work, and 10 weeks was preferred, but she would do it anyway. She told me that my appointment didnt say I was there for a laser treatment, and she would have to get the machine warmed up for 20 minutes. After much thought in that time, I told her that i had scheduled a follow up treatment and apologized that she didn't get that information. The receptionist I spoke with sounded like she was half asleep and talked very slow and was very unprofessional on the phone, and couldn't answer any questions I had. Lanie said that they hired temps to answer the phones.! It was irritating that she would blame me for not communicating my reason for the appointment when they have untrained people like that making appointments. After the second laser treatment, at a cost of $250, I again had no apparent crusting, or redness on the spots, and after 4 weeks, no change. I have had these treatments done before with a different dermatologist/esthetician in a large city and I always had redness and a brown crust develop in about 2 days, and within a week, the crusting had peeled off and brown spots had lightened. I am frustrated that she tells me that it takes 10 weeks for any improvement, when I know from experience that it does not!! I feel like I have just thrown away $150. plus $250 for nothing! I feel like they just throw numbers at you, because there are no set fees printed on a treatment brochure. I realize that there needs to be a consult on fillers, as each person is different, but 800.00 I think it is exorbitant for one syringe! There is no office I have been to in the past who doesn't have an up front cost per treatment, or type of laser whether it be a particular laser,for hair removal, facial veins, acne, skin tightening, etc. I only switched to this dermatologist because of the distance being closer to my home, but I will definitely be going back to my original place , and it will be well worth my time and money!
