They were mean to her and she coded and they didn't even call my mother who is the DPOA and takes care of her!! My aunt cried and cried and they never let her call my mom or anybody. My mom would call and they would say they couldn't transfer her or that my aunt was sleeping. They were just so unprofessional! The bathrooms for the residents were beyond disgusting. While visiting we often had to chase down staff to let them know a resident had fallen or soiled themselves. Day 2, they lost my mom's denture. They initially took full responsibility. They told us to take her to a dentist to have it replaced, which we did. When they received the bill, they refused to pay. Their administrator/office person is demanding I go there personally to discuss my mother's dentures with him. Not sure what there is to discuss, since I'm not a dentist. Extremely unprofessional. The social worker stated it is normal procedure to replace lost dentures and doesn't know why this administrator is refusing to pay after we followed their instructions to replace the denture. The last day my mother was at this facility, one of the residents wandered into her room, fell and bled on the floor. That puddle of blood was there long enough to partially dry. When we asked a staff member to have it cleaned up, they told us they were aware of the puddle of blood but were waiting for housekeeping to clean it up. This is the most dismal depressing SNF I've ever seen. Not a good place for a loved one.

When we finally won custody of her, she came home with a prolapse bladder, severe UTI, intestinal infection and chronic diarrhea, and her dementia had only gotten worse. We would take her new clothes to wear, only for it to disappear a week later. I gave her a tote bag that cost quite a bit of money that she asked for, and that turned up missing as well. She slept on a gurney the entire time... all the while, every time we would visit, they kept trying to reassure us that "she was receiving the best of care". They charged over $13,000 a month for the lack of care she had received, a total rip off and absolutely disgusted with this facility. Please keep in close touch & take care of your loved ones... Heaven forbid the county find them and put them in this God-forsaken hellhole.

The PT staff is great but the nurses/cnas leave much to be desired. There is maybe a third of the staff that's great and on it but the others need to be held accountable for their actions. Weekend and night staff will leave patients sitting in their own urine or feces for long periods of time. The social worker onsite is rude and only professional in front of other people. She's very passive aggressive with comments. They come and take stuff out of patients closets and give it to other patients to use twice I've had to retrieve my family members jacket that has their name on it from another patient or the staff will use the patients personal items and steal their personal drinks and drink them. When the upper management leaves on the weekend and at night the staff gets really loud shouting to each other and laughing up and down the halls when patients are sleeping. Counted several times over the last several months where they leave patient lights on and don't respond for close to 30-40 minutes. The response given to me was they are all on break.(everytime?) it's not just been the one night or day. Wonder how many patients have had medical emergencies that they don't address right away. They feed diabetic patients nothing but sugar when their restrictions/preferences are listed at least from what I was told from other patient's family members and from my own observations, are they trying to send them back to the ER. Or the patient whose daughter told me has diverticulitis and they feed her items that can cause flare ups. The cnas come and take pull ups and wipes from other patients because according to them there is not enough supplies. They do this while in the middle of cleaning others up. That's a nice way to cause cross contamination and cause other patients to develop rashes/possibly catch diseases. I'm sure the CDC, OSHA and the state would have a field day. I'll be sure to be filing a concern with the state.

Overall, they are horrible with communication and keeping you informed on the whereabouts of your loved one. At one point I had to call around to multiple places to figure out where my father was. Also, when he was transferred, I wasn't notified by them. They didn't even contact me to pick up his belongings he left behind there. I had to hunt someone down to make that happen and still am waiting on one more thing to be sent to me via email and have been waiting for almost two weeks. When I physically went to the location to pick up my dad's belongings, nobody was up front to greet me or check me in. I had to wander around the building until I finally pulled someone aside because absolutely nobody acknowledged me. This place is super unprofessional. I'm still trying to figure out why they charged my dad's bank account, or how they even got that information, when insurance should have covered his stay. He was there for less than a month and they have caused so much headache at this point. I can only imagine how bad the quality and type of care is considering everything I have experienced. I strongly don't recommend this place for a loved one.

From the moment we called Right at Home, in Yucaipa, California, we were treated with respect and concern. The care manager was able to meet with us right away to address our concerns for our family member's care and always makes herself available to accept our phone calls. We contracted for the service of a caregiver at three days per week and were so pleased, with the company, we increased our contract with Right at Home to have a caregiver six days per week. From the start, we were assigned a caregiver who perfectly matched our needs and our loved one accepted the caregiver immediately. We would highly recommend Right at Home.

I needed someone to be there a few days a week to help with hygiene care, meals, and errand running. My mom looks forward to her visits and I can see that her caregiver genuinely cares for my mom as well. All Right at Home staff are extremely responsive when I have questions and I truly value their services. They helped me navigate my mom's long-term care and assisted with my mom's evaluation for her services. I don't know what I would have done without them.
