    Awful bedside manner of echocardiogram technician. She was foul tempered and clearly incompetent.

Despite 4" of overnight snow the reception area was fully staffed, and the waiting room moderately busy. As requested, we arrived 15 minutes before her appointment, with the health insurance pre-authorization form, physician prescription and photo ID in-hand. The NJIN paperwork burden was excessive, largely due to the same information being asked repeatedly. Throughout the visit their staff was direct and generally cordial, if not outwardly welcoming and friendly. My wife was seen within fifteen minutes of her scheduled appointment, and was done within twenty minutes. The procedure was for a CT scan, rather than an MRI which takes much longer. We did have to wait an additional half-hour for her imaging disk, but that process was smooth. She reported having been treated well and without incident. On the day of our visit NJIN- Cranford was professional, efficient and respectful; we have no cause for complaint. In fact, based upon our first visit, we would use their services again.

Each time when I finally spoke to someone I got a commitment for a call to resolve the technical error issues I was seeing with a promise for a call back from IT. No call, just an e-mail with instructions to create a new account, although I already have one, and surprise, surprise, it did not recognize me and or gave me errors. A few e-mails back (not a call) this must not arise to the importance to pick up the phone. Then I'm asked for Personal information on an e-mail, as if this type of information is not vulnerable. Then I call back and ask for a compliance office phone number to lodge a complaint and they kept giving me another person from the call center, so 45 minutes later I get the number and surprise, surprise; the recording says the phone number is restricted or unavailable. So if access to information on a portal is important you may want to reconsider, I'm sure it was billed already though, no issues there...

The tech…read morewho drew my blood was kind and gave me great advice to make it easier on myself going forward. Because of this, I came back months later with my then 4 year old and had a TERRIBLE experience with a tech and her "manager/lead tech" It was my child's first time getting blood work and was understandably scared. I had him on my lap and calm. The first tech stuck him and started to move the needle around in his arm and couldn't get blood which of course led to him screaming in agony. She attempted again on his other arm and wasn't successful and again moved the needle around and said to him "I'm not touching you" in a very annoyed tone when she left the needle in his arm while looking for a bigger gauge. At this time he was red, sweating, kicking and screaming while I'm holding him down. The head tech then came over to assist and used the larger gauge and also moved the needle back and forth. At this point I yelled that this was enough and that we needed to stop as he was crying and screaming to the point of exhaustion I was told by this manager that I need to ensure he's well hydrated going forward as it's my fault meanwhile my child drinks water all day every single day. Will not be returning to this location and would never recommend a child getting blood work done here and they do not have the skills to handle children and get annoyed at them easily.
