I was really looking forward to a great experience with them. Im very disappointed with the lack of communication to try and figure out what is going on with my Jeep even after sending a video the very next morning because they couldn't find the issue. Paying for 2 different things to get looked at and no answer and still not having my jeep fixed is very disappointing Everyone there that I met was very nice but it's been weeks and I still haven't heard back even after letting them know how I felt about no response. Best Jeep Team! 2006 TJ 1-ton Axel build: Unlimited Offroad has been the most honest, straightforward, and experienced jeep company I have worked with in my 10 years of owning and wheeling my jeep Otto. In 2020 I did a 1 ton axel swap and designed my dream build after outgrowing the ability of my jeep with a 4" lift and 35's. After taking Otto out on some obstacles one day I snapped the control arm bracket that was incorrectly welded to my front axel and lost my front drive shaft. I limped the jeep to Unlimited and they took care of EVERYTHING to include things I didn't know I needed or were wrong with my build! What started off as rewelding control arms correctly back on to the axel turned in to a full review of the jeep, what my goals and plans are, and what need to be done to accomplish that. Clint, Pete, Dylan, and the whole team were incredible through this entire process. They walked me through what they were seeing, feeling, and hearing that were issues and could cause further damage, to upgrade suggestions, and doing some pretty out of the box fabrication work, this team got my jeep to better than 100%. They rebuilt the entire front end, fixed my fuel cell, changed my steering and of course we talked about even more things to add in the future. YOU CAN TRUST THIS TEAM! There is no BS, no trying to trick you just to spend more money, they provide multiple paths and options for a solution to the problem and discuss the pros and cons of each (regardless of price), and have incredible communication. I never once had to ask for an update or status because I was getting them multiple times a week. Offroad has completed a couple of projects for me on my Ford Bronco. The latest was replacing my 33" stock ties with 35" Nittos and installing Rough Country power steps. Everything is working out great! My senior parents LOVE the steps. I thought I might have to part with my beloved Bronco, but no more. Unlimited Offroad has helped me up the game on my Offroad capable Jeep JK, keeping my baby top shape!

On February 8, 2023 I began conversations with Unlimited Off Road, to covert my 2004 Rubicon from an Inline 6, 4.0 and manual transmission to a 5.3 LS and a 4L60E Automatic. Total project was estimated to be around $43k I dropped the vehicle off on February 15, 2023 and gave an $18k deposit. On May 19, 2023 they notified me that, having worked through the night, the engine and transmission was now sitting in the frame. With much anticipation, I visited the vehicle. While the work was not as far along as I was told, I still offered to make an additional payment of $10k which was happily accepted by them. On July 14, 2023 I again visited the project to see how things were coming along and offered another $10k payment, which was accepted. On three separate occasions, I was told the vehicle was ready for pick up. On two of these occasions, fortunately before I made the hour trek, I was told the vehicle was not actually ready with reasoning such as they were waiting on differential breather tube parts. (along with other such reasons) On August 2, 2023 I did finally pick up the vehicle, being notified of the requirement of returning for an oil change and 500 mile 'check up', oh and the warranty replacement of a broken motor mount. (in case this is not clear, this would be a brand new part due to the conversion) During this visit, I had a kind discussion of how disappointed I was with my overall experience having them do this project and they agreed with how I could be disappointed. As I drove the vehicle home the engine just didn't sound right. Upon further investigation, I discovered there was a broken valve spring on the intake valve of cylinder 8. Mind you, I was told this vehicle had been driven several hundred miles, by their people, as well as having it dyno tuned. How this got past everyone is beyond me. Upon notifying them of the problem, they indicated their hoist would not be available for approximately 9 days as other vehicles were being worked on. The final total was just under the estimated $43k and in just 24 weeks I was delivered an improperly running vehicle with a brand new broken motor mount. Today I shipped the vehicle to Utah. The 'warranty' repairs are being done by the company that built the motor and transmission. There are a lot of 'quick turn' great reviews on Google for this company. I would have selected no stars for this review as It is only my intention to inform others about my experience. Please decide for yourself about doing business with them. My experience was my experience. I have parted ways and will not ever use them again. read more

first time jeep owner(2024 Willys) and have zero experience with anything related to off-roading. everyone person I had the pleasure of talking to while there twice was super cool. explaining what things are in my jeep and what things I should consider and what not to waste money on. These guys know their stuff! It can be a bit overwhelming at first learning about all the possible aftermarket options for your rig and these guys make it easier to handle. I've gotten relatively simple (alignments, ball joints, etc.) and complex (re-gear) work done here, all with great satisfaction. Also, you can often find these guys at off-road events and really get to know them. :) read more

Unless you are a pro off roader with a highly modified rig, these guys will only make fun of you when you are in their store. they think because you are buying some basic stock modifications that you don't know anything and they think they are talking over your head and laughing with each other. I only stopped in because I was visiting a friend in Fenton. Trust me, I'll never walk through their doors again. Great off road store in Clarkston will continue to serve me well. read more

I took my jeep in for a wiring issue and they kept it for 2 months. Every time I called they said "they were still working on it." I finally had enough with trying to call because I'm a girl and I've been walked over by mechanics before so I figured having my dad call would help motivate them. Funny enough the day my dad called that were magically able to come up with "the issue".. they said the connectors to the battery needed replacement and said it would be $280 to fix. He thought that was too much and figured we could do it ourselves so he went and picked it up and they charged $150 for examination! When my dad got home he looked at it and noticed that the plug to the ecu was loose so he put it back in and it drives JUST FINE! I called to try to get my money back and they refused because "well the battery connectors do need to be replaced" well I'm sure they do! Just like a lot of other things on my jeep but that's not why it wasn't driving! I'm so disappointed in them because I missed out on two months of summertime jeep driving. I would not recommend especially if you are a girl because they will bs you. They wouldn't give me my money back for doing absolutely nothing for me and keeping it for two months and tried to overcharge me for something that wasn't even the problem! read more
