It's never a good time when you have to get anything on your car fixed, but It's always nice when you get a good deal. I unfortunately had to get my passenger side mirror fixed after a rock hit it, and cracked the glass. Luckily It was only the glass and I didn't have to replace the entire part. The mirror has been cracked for a few months, but since I was turning my car in and leasing a new one, I had to get it fixed. I was quoted at my dealership for about $550+. I was convinced they were either high, lost their minds, or a combination of the two because $550 for a side mirror is ridiculous. You would've thought I was getting my windshield replaced. I ended up calling around and two separate friends suggested I check out Auto Tech Collision Center. When I initially called the guy was really helpful and informative. Plus they're close to where I live. I just wanted a good job, and I didn't think it should cost a million bucks. After giving them all the information they needed, they ended up quoting me at practically half of what my dealership did. In the back of my head I already knew the dealership would try to overcharge me so I'm not completely surprised. About three days after ordering the part, the owner called me stating they were ready for me to come in. I ended up swinging by and they were able to get it taken care of in like 5 minutes. The entire experience was very easy and my mirror looked better than ever. The customer service here is truly amazing! The Auto-Tech team is first class all the way around. Literally the nicest people ever. Super quick service, super friendly people. I took my 2019 GMC Acadia Denali that someone backed into in a parking lot. That dingbat put a solid dent in the crease of my lift-gate while also damaging a back up sensor. Amazing customer service and worksmanship!!! I got in to a fender bender and needed repairs to my car, and heard a lot of good things about Auto Tech. After being burnt by my dealerships poor customer service and bad sales experience at Champion Chevrolet I decided to use this company. Embarrassing as this is, my car was filthy inside and out from Michigan winter roads and my daughter and I on the inside. I got my car back and everything was fixed looking showroom new. The outside was spotless and looked freshly waxed and the inside (which is where I feel like they went above and beyond) looked like it was shampooed, vaccuumed, and Armor all'ed. This company was easy to work with, friendly, speedy and the work was excellent! I would recommend them to any friend or family member. Last year, we took one of our cars to Auto Tech and another shop for estimates when someone knocked our sideview mirror off. The Auto Tech quote was better so we took it there. I was pleasantly surprised to find when picking up the car that they were charging us LESS than the estimate because they'd been able to repair a part rather than replacing it as per the quote. I wouldn't have known that they didn't replace the part and was really impressed by their integrity in having told me that they were able to save us that money. Today, I took a leased vehicle over there for a minor repair (prior to turn-in) and paid $268 less than I was quoted at the dealership. It turns out that a much simpler repair worked and it's good as new. John was so very nice and exceeded our expectations - by a lot. It's not something we'll forget should we need help in the future. I just picked my car up today and couldn't be happier. This is the second time this year I've used Auto Tech Collision and if I'm ever unfortunate enough to need collision services again, I will definitely take my car back here. I had rear end damage on my car. They fixed it quickly, reasonably priced and did a great job. The extra surprise was that they detailed the interior of my car. Wow. Wasn't expecting that! I had my 2014 Ford Fuson fixed there after the hailstorm a few months ago. I picked it up yesterday (10-16-2014) after a week in the shop. I couldn't believe the great job they did. All of the dents were fixed and the car was completly detailed before it was given back to me. It looks better the new. These guys did a marvelous job making it look factory new. The detail inside and out was a great surprise. I would recommend this shop to anyone needing body work on their vehicle. The work was outstanding and the employees are great too.
