It's hard to find someone that you can trust when it comes to specialty applications in the audio…read moreand visual applications. A previous experience at another facility did not bear good fruit. For three weeks I was in conversation with the owner in efforts to have a new double din unit installed into my vehicle. The owner of the company seem to be very trustworthy and spoke in confidence about how the upgrade and installation would occur. Reggie opted to schedule my vehicle in for a late appointment and conduct the installation. It was to my knowledge that my vehicle would be dropped off for the installation to occur the following day. Upon dropping my vehicle off, Reggie indicated to me that he would have the installation completed that evening. Perplexed and shocked we opted to grab dinner at a local establishment while he conducted the install. I received a call about 2 1/2 hours later advising me that the installation was complete. Upon picking my vehicle up everything seemed ok, we made a few adjustments to the back up camera and off we went. Returning home I parked my vehicle in the garage not even attempting to use the new audio system until I read the manual. A couple of days went by, armed with book smart info I began to learning how to utilize my new audio system. Oddly enough I notice a few things. The dimmer feature didn't function with the headlights, additionally the illuminated buttons for the HVAC just below radio only had 2 buttons lighted. I was troubled by this know that the HVAC was replaced 1 month prior. Having questions regarding the audio system, I contacted the manufacturer help line and walked through a few of the configurations. It was brought to my attention that one important component was missing for the navigation to function. I reached out to Reggie to ask the pertinent questions relative to having this function correctly. During the conversation, I sensed a defensive tone with my inquiry. Knowing what I had experienced previously I was already prepared to cut my losses. I obtained the missing component an opt to install it myself. It was then that I realized that the professional installation I was hoping for was nothing more than a super glued hack job. Additionally I realized that the A/C control head appeared to have damage present from I suspect being dropped. 3 of the functions no longer illuminated when the lights were turned on. I corrected the navigation issue on the radio and decided to call Reggie regarding my findings. With each attempt, I reached a voicemail with no return call. Trust has been violated.
