Even after I politely said "no" multiple times, the sales pitch continued. Every reason I gave for not wanting to purchase anything seemed to be met with another reason why I should, instead of simply respecting my decision. What made me especially uncomfortable was that even when my body was already out the door, the sales pitch still didn't stop. At that point, I just wanted to leave, but I felt like my "no" wasn't being respected. I understand that retail businesses encourage product sales, and I don't mind being offered products. However, there is a big difference between making recommendations and making customers feel pressured. A simple "no, thank you" should be enough. Unfortunately, the aggressive sales approach left me with a negative impression and made me not want to return. But...... I wanted to give a shoutout to Kiley for providing such a great customer experience! She really was the saving grace! She was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable without ever making me feel pressured. She took the time to answer my questions, offered recommendations based on what I was looking for, and respected my decisions without pushing additional products. I will only be doing business with her from now on. It's refreshing to interact with someone who genuinely makes you feel comfortable and valued as a customer and not just a dollar sign. Kiley's professionalism and positive attitude made my visit enjoyable, and she's a big reason I'd come back. Thank you for making the experience so pleasant!

I've heard people complain of long waits but that's expected when there's limited beds that have to be cleaned in between uses. I've never waited more than 15 minutes for a service. Tanning booths and beds are kept clean and organized. This location is awesome!

On my first visit, the manager sold me products I didn't actually need -- I was nervous and didn't know better, so I went along with it. When I tried to return them and get the product I actually needed, the manager was never in. By the time I finally caught her, it was too late to return anything. I also was never told I could be using a Level 5 bed when I signed up -- I'd been put in a Level 4 the whole time, even though there's almost a $40 price difference between the two. Once I found out, I asked to downgrade my membership for the following month. But now this month, I can't use the Level 5 bed at all. So I paid $104 for July and can't even use what I'm paying for. On top of that, almost everyone on staff has been unhelpful and unpleasant. The one exception is Grace, who's been genuinely kind and helpful every time. My advice: do your research before signing up here, or just go somewhere else.

Their beds are new, clean, and serviced constantly. I've been a client here for 6 months and I have never seen a bulb out in one of the beds. The girls are prompt and efficient at the front plus super friendly. I never feel like they are pushy on trying to sell me something either. I've visited both south Elgin and Elgin locations. They have quite a few beds, they have the spray tans too (in the actual spray stand up unit), they have a ton of products to chose from also. Check them out!

I hadn't had my hair cut since 10/2019 and was way overdue. I messaged the salon on FB looking to schedule an apt, and she was able to get me in right away, for which I was grateful. The salon maintained social distancing requirements, and the stylist wore a mask the entire time. My stylist appeared very knowledgeable about curly hair and was able to give me some good feedback about products and styling. The stylist (unfortunately I don't remember her name) told me that due to the amount of damage to my hair, she was going to have to take off 3-4 inches in length. My hair doesn't grow very quickly so I was very reluctant but eventually agreed to it for the sake of hair health. It was sort of traumatic and after I saw all the hair on the floor, I almost cried! But my hair is so much healthier and I am getting really good curls now, so it was worth it! Will definitely return!
