First time trying this place. I fell in love with this place. This is now my new taco spot. The barría tacos were amazing The meat was slowly perfectly cooked. Were melted in your mouth. I also tried the Horchata. The best I have had in a long time. The service was great the brought the food to your table. That also have a salsa bar with cucumber and did rent salsa's the ambiance was nice and casual they had tvs going on I the back ground not too loud so you could still have a good conversation. You could hear the workers in The kitchen as well. I most definitely will be back to try even more

Took 10 mins to get our order. Not bad. The drink machine was down. Ordered a carne asada burrito, looked and felt like a bean burrito. Very watery with all the beans in it and very little meat. Great flavor just cheaply made. For the price, it should have more meat than a few pieces. Ordered tacos. My tortillas were cold. Was not happy with my meal.

Suppose to be 3 Quesotacos Birria.

Unos Tacos y Birria, do better this unexceptionable! Enough said! In addition to that way too much powder in the horchata needs to be mixed properly.

Normal carne asada tacos! Sooo good

Sooo good! We've been here so many times. The line may be long at times, but once you order you get your food so quickly. Music can be loud sometimes, but I like the music so I don't mind at all. It may be awk if you're here with elders because they don't play the clean versions of songs lol I've noticed on Sundays their music is more chill though. Queso tacos, ramen, and the normal tacos are all amazing. They just added flan to the menu... so yummy! If we are craving tacos, this is always our choice!

My husband and I came to Unos Tacos Y Birria with a group of friends and really enjoyed our experience here. My husband knew the food would be good when we parked and could smell fresh tortillas. The restaurant was nicely decorated and had great Mexican music playing. There were plenty of seating options that accommodate various party sizes. We ordered at the counter and did not have to wait too long to place our order. We did not wait too long to get our order. We ordered 1 birria caramelo, 1 taco de cabeza, birria combo, and birria burrito. Everything was delicious. I enjoyed the taco de cabeza and birria combo the most. The cabeza meat was juicy and flavorful. The taco came with cilantro and onion, but there was an extensive salsa bar available with many sauce and vegetable options. There's even grilled onions and jalapeños. I really enjoyed the spicy salsa and salsa de guacamole. The birria combo came with consomé that was delicious to dip your tacos into. The burrito and caramelo did not come with consomé, so we added some to it from our combo. It enhanced both dishes a lot. We love Mexican food and thought the quality was top notch. When we are in Mesa and craving Mexican, we will definitely come back here!

Heard great things about this place and finally got to try it! It was busy on a Saturday morning. You order at the counter and then they will bring you the food. There is a salsa and toppings bar. I love when they do this so that you can add as much toppings as you would like. The birria burrito was very delicious! With the salsa and toppings, it was even better! Love the birria here! Quesotaco Combo was my favorite!! You should definitely try this! The price was reasonable, but did wish the burrito was bigger. Staff were very friendly and lots indoor seating available. I would definitely recommend this place if you are wanting some good Mexican food especially if you are in the mood for Birria!

The quality really stands out--especially the homemade tortillas, which take everything to the next level. The al pastor and carne asada are both incredible, packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. I also love that the al pastor is cooked authentically on a spit, which really adds to the flavor and experience. There's also a great variety of options on the menu, so there's something for everyone. Service is consistently quick, even when it's busy, which makes it a great spot whether you're grabbing a quick meal or sitting down to enjoy your food. Their Taco Tuesday deal is also a huge win--great value without sacrificing quality, and it keeps us coming back regularly. And the salsa deserves its own shoutout--absolutely incredible! It's packed with flavor and honestly good enough that you could enjoy it on its own. It really takes everything to the next level. If you're looking for authentic-style tacos with great flavor, fresh ingredients, fast service, and awesome specials, Tacos Tijuana is a must-visit. Easily one of my top spots in the area!

Staff was professional and fast. 4 tacos $11.06 included a 20% discount. No rice. No beans. But those limes really added to the flavor. I stretched it to feed 2 peeps. It was good and convenient. Fit what I needed at the moment, but probably won't be back.

Update: the owner messaged me and told me to buy an entire chicken. Uh, maybe put some chicken in the chicken burrito? Update #2: The owner sure does like to argue with the customer back and forth. Now, he proposed that I order from Chipotle instead since they fail to give customer what one paid for. Update #3: The owner still going back and forth with me and now claiming I did not pay for the burritos. Not really sure what he means by that. But here is the screen shot of 2 burritos ordered via DoorDash. This is just wild.

Got the $30 Plato Campechano between 2 ppl (half chicken, half a pound of Carne, flour and corn tortillas, rice, beans from the pot, salsas, grill jalapeños, guacamole, limes, and radishes). Decent amount of food, although the chicken and carne were both a bit dry. I enjoyed the beans and rice, and the additional accouterments. Overall, good flavor and seasonings, just dry protein. Not sure if that would change on a busier day if fresh food was being pumped out, but would be open to checking this place out again!

Sometimes the best meals happen because your original plan falls through. That was exactly the case…read morehere, and honestly... I'm not even a little mad about it. I ordered the veggie tacos with roasted sweet potatoes (skin on, which was absolutely the right call), pepitas, feta, and all the right toppings. Whoever prepped those sweet potatoes deserves a raise because they were cut into the perfect sized pieces. Every bite had a little sweetness, a little crunch, a little saltiness... it just worked. My dining partner ordered the barbacoa tacos, and I didn't even have to ask if they were good. The involuntary "Mmm..." after the first bite answered that question. Four tacos disappeared in record time, followed by, "I could've eaten two more." That's about as glowing of a review as you're going to get. Now let's talk about these tortillas. Handmade. Corn. Tortillas. Are you kidding me? They're the kind of tortillas that had me question every tortilla I've ever eaten. Soft, fresh, and somehow they manage to steal the spotlight even with everything else on the plate being so good. The chips and guacamole were excellent, too. The chips have to be made in-house and they disappeared at an alarming rate. The salsa that came with them had this smoky, fire-roasted, chipotle flavor that kept me reaching for another chip... and then another... and then suddenly I realized I'd eaten way more chips than I intended. The bottled table salsas deserve their own paragraph because they completely confused me... in the best way. They bring three to the table... a green, a red, and a darker red. I kept tasting them individually thinking, "Okay, these are alright." Then I started mixing them. Game over. On their own, each one was solid. Mixed together? That was the magic. I don't know if that's what they intended or if I accidentally stumbled onto the perfect combination, but from that point on, every taco got the salsa trio treatment. The only tiny hiccup was when we first walked in. We were greeted, asked if we wanted menus, and sat ourselves. We waited for a bit thinking someone would come take our order, only to realize it's actually counter service. Once we figured that out, everything was smooth sailing. Not a big deal at all... just something first-time visitors might want to know. Follow the sign "order here" I also loved the layout. You can actually watch them making the food, which somehow makes the wait even harder because everything smells incredible. Two tacos ended up being the perfect light meal for me. Could I have eaten ten? Absolutely. Those two statements can both be true. Meanwhile, my dining partner polished off four barbacoa tacos and was talking about ordering two more. We only ended up here because another place happened to be closed, and honestly, I'm glad it worked out that way. This ended up being one of those meals we keep talked about on the drive home. Oh and the bathrooms?. I walked in and immediately thought, "Whoa... this is a cool bathroom" The lighting had this pinkish-purple glow that made me feel like I'd accidentally wandered into a trendy lounge instead of a taco shop. I honestly wasn't even sure there was regular lighting in there and I didn't look... because the vibe seemed so intentional. Finally, the music. .. upbeat, dance-worthy, the kind that had me bouncing in my seat while waiting for my food. Between the atmosphere, the lighting, and the music, the whole place had me want to hang out a little longer. Zero regrets. I'll absolutely be back... and next time I'm ordering more tacos.

First of all, eating anywhere in Tempe, starts with a frustrating time.... Trying to find parking and having to pay to park. I don't understand why restaurants don't have parking for customers. Idk maybe I don't know where to look. Second, it's hot AF in here. I feel sorry for the guys cooking. It's 105 today and the restaurant is so small, it's probably impossible to keep cool during the summer. Finally, the food. It all tastes very fresh! NO SEED OILS is amazing. I feel like I have won something when I find a restaurant that uses olive oil and beef tallow to cook in. Best corn tortillas I have had for sure. We basically tried one of each taco. (Although some of the tacos we ordered were wrong, so we just kept adding) not a big deal, because they were delicious and we loved them. I felt like the carne was chewy but my husband loves chewier meat. The taco with the marlin was my favorite. And the one that came out kind of like a cheese crisp. It's loud in here and again the space is very small. They do not serve wine at all. But yummy margaritas! The bartender is working solo and working hard! She busted her butt and did an amazing job. And smiled the entire time. She was awesome
