I'm also on a keto diet right now and I CRAVE their keto taco. It's a little more pricey but it is actually massive, super filling and delicious. Crispy cheese as the tortilla loaded with meat. You can order a cup of their birria consommé separately so you can dip all of your tacos in there. They also always send a little baggy of fresh cucumber, lime wedges and radish slices which I really appreciate. My only gripe is I wish they put more onion and cilantro on their tacos. We come to this place often when we're out and about running errands in the area. It's not fancy, but they certainly made an effort with reclaimed-looks wood, metal schools and chairs, and a giant mural of their logo. With one full boo some tables and high tops, there's plenty of seating. They're always seem to be people in here and I'm sure that it's still that before. There is a salsa bar with salad, veggies, and caramelized onions (a delicious treat!!) and grilled jalapenos. There's a nice variety of Mexican food here at ferry, very reasonable prices. Online photos made the food look good and when pasted by, it looked busy inside. When we entered, it was busy but we were able to order fast and find a table. Drinks were fresh but to our surprise, the food was disappointing. Everything tasted bland with no flavor. The meat seemed like it was over cooked and the tortillas were hard. First time trying this place. I fell in love with this place. This is now my new taco spot. The barría tacos were amazing The meat was slowly perfectly cooked. Were melted in your mouth. I also tried the Horchata. The best I have had in a long time. The service was great the brought the food to your table. That also have a salsa bar with cucumber and did rent salsa's the ambiance was nice and casual they had tvs going on I the back ground not too loud so you could still have a good conversation. This place was pretty good, there was a good amount of birria on my taco however we were not big fans of the beans. They had a starchy Smokey flavor that wasn't our fave. Sooo good! We've been here so many times. The line may be long at times, but once you order you get your food so quickly. Music can be loud sometimes, but I like the music so I don't mind at all. It may be awk if you're here with elders because they don't play the clean versions of songs lol I've noticed on Sundays their music is more chill though. Heard great things about this place and finally got to try it! It was busy on a Saturday morning. You order at the counter and then they will bring you the food. There is a salsa and toppings bar. I love when they do this so that you can add as much toppings as you would like. The birria burrito was very delicious! With the salsa and toppings, it was even better! Love the birria here! First time here. Food was good kinda oily but it was tasty. I got the Al pastor burrito. The service was not great, not one employee was smiling. My Tio placed his order and the guy was looking away or behind him not keeping eye contact. Very off putting. When my Tio got his food it was incorrect probably because the guy who took his order wasn't even pretending to pay attention. Guy who brought the food didn't smile seemed irritated. I went up to order soup to go for my friend who is sick, girl at the register didn't really smile but at least she was paying attention and was engaged with me. I understand as a human being you have hard days but when you are in the service industry your attitude is actively affecting others day and experience. I honestly probably won't come back here because of the employees energy as a whole it was pretty depressing. I would say from experience this is probably a leadership issue, put someone else in charge of the team because clearly whoever is in charge is not leading the team appropriately for service. I ordered 4 carne asada tacos and a cup of birria (which has now become my new obsession) togo. Service was quick and we were in and out within 10 to 15 minutes. Food was absolutely delicious and very fresh tasting. Definitely will be coming back again. Wow, I didn't know what I was missing. I first tried birria tacos at their Phoenix location, and they are just as delicious here in Mesa. I had always avoided birria because I thought it was always made with goat, but that is evidently not the case. The queso taco with beef birria is just amazing.
