The food was incredible. I highly recommend this little gem. Traveling from Sarasota, Florida best meal so far!!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Despite the many decorations, the whole atmosphere felt a bit drab; probably because of the low lighting and colors of the walls and furniture.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was a bit overly enthusiastic but he got the job done. I tried a regular sized Mexican sized pizza with a a deep fried ice cream. My crony got a green machaca supreme burrito. Our whole bill came out to $48.99 (includes tax and tip). The food was merely average. The whipped cream used in the ice cream felt like the cheapest Albertson's brand they could've bought.

A very enjoyable "Taco Tuesday" at Rosita's Fine Mexican food. We missed going out this Cinco de Mayo and since they were still offering those specials the rest of the week who could resist. Authentic Mexican cuisine and $2.00 Dos Equis on Tuesday's why not I went with the 2 taco combo and my wife tried #37 lunch combo both were deliciousoso!

Great meal at Rositas! We hadn't been here in probably 7 or 8 years. We thought we would stop in since we had some errands on this side of town. As great as we remember. Isabel G. was our waitress and she was awesome. Attentive, personable and helpful. We had three cheese enchiladas and a combo plate of 2 Green Corn Tamales with Fideo and Black Beans. Not many places offer Fideo as a side so we always love to get it when we can. A blast from my childhood. Love the decor with lots of great old pictures and booths that remind you of great older places. Fun and relaxing with delicious food and great service. What more could you want.

2 tacos - supposed to make into 4 tacos?!

This place is a rip off! Ordered a pick up taco dinner for $28.00! The girl said it comes with 4 tacos and when we got it home this is what we saw! When I called and informed them that they forgot my other 2 tacos, they said I was mistaken and that I'm supposed to divide the meat here and make it into 4 tacos! What a scam! $28.00 for this with a little rice & beans?!!! I could go out and get a nice steak dinner for $28.00! Will never go here again!

The food was excellent. Piping hot and tasty. Serving sizes are plentiful. The margaritas are large and delicious. Huge menu and lots of gluten free selections. We'll be back.

Great food and great service! The Mexican Pizza was amazing and definitely what I recommend. Add a little beans on it with sour cream and guacamole. Insanely goood! My wife had the carnitas taco plate which she enjoyed very much. She has high standards when it comes to Mexican food restaurants. This one definitely passed the test! We will be back for sure! The setting is quiet with Mexican music playing softly in the background. Seats are a little worn and could be updated. Our server was Olivia. Excellent customer service. Took our entire order without writing a thing down. Everything came perfect as ordered. Would have been 5 stars if the furniture/booths were in better condition.

Authentic Mexican food sounded perfect and I knew good things were in store when I arrived at 11:30am on a Friday and all of inside and outside tables were full. The inside is quaint but has quite a few tables. They also have tables out front in the shade (to call it patio seating may be a stretch, just simple tables and chairs on the exterior of the entrance). You order your food at the counter and I didn't study the menu ahead of time but the ladies taking my order were patient with me. I ordered a shredded beef taco and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Nothing fancy for my first time as it's hard to golf on a full stomach! I found the only open table and then hit up the salsa bar. They have 4 or 5 different salsas/hot sauces and a few other goodies. I got a small cup of each sauce and all of them were quite good. My food was colorful, flavorful and just the right away to give me some energy without being lethargic. I could go on about a few other nice things but it seems most of East Mesa already knows about this place given the high scores on Yelp from a lot of reviewers. Nothing to prevent me from giving a 5* review at this time. I look forward to trying some more dishes in the future.

Carne asada burrito which came with chipotle cream sauce, carne Asada, and pico. Also beans and we asked for no rice. We both had rice on the side with beans. The burrito was nice and big. The rice was really good. And the beans were mediocre. The burrito was good, except the only bad thing I would say it was a little too greasy, and when you bit into it, all the greasy juice came out. I'm not sure if we would go back maybe, to try something different.

The parking lot outside was parking so we thought we may have to wait, but inside was not busy yet and we were seated immediately. I ordered the smoked chicken enchilada as I saw it was a Yelp favorite and it was delicious. I ended up taking half of it home since we all filled up on chips and salsa before our meal. This restaurant is decorated so cutely. I love how there is a Baja influence with all the surf boards but also southwest appeal. There is plenty of seating and tables for big groups. Even with other people yapping around us, the noise level was perfect to enjoy company. 10/10 would recommend.

Update: the owner messaged me and told me to buy an entire chicken. Uh, maybe put some chicken in the chicken burrito? Update #2: The owner sure does like to argue with the customer back and forth. Now, he proposed that I order from Chipotle instead since they fail to give customer what one paid for. Update #3: The owner still going back and forth with me and now claiming I did not pay for the burritos. Not really sure what he means by that. Decent amount of food, although the chicken and carne were both a bit dry. I enjoyed the beans and rice, and the additional accouterments. Overall, good flavor and seasonings, just dry protein. Not sure if that would change on a busier day if fresh food was being pumped out, but would be open to checking this place out again!
