I cannot express enough how delicious these tortas are. From the outside it looks like a small place but when you open that door you will find enough adequate seating. As we walked up to counter to order we were greeted with a friendly smile, and the cashier was so nice. It's cool inside and they have all the best Mexican sodas! I opted for Tamarindo because, if you know how good those are you won't pass up getting one when you can. The menu has a lot of delicious options but I ordered the carne asada torta .. it was fresh off the grill and filled with guacamole, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and comes with jalapeños but I got it on the side. (Shrimp) we love how quick, fresh, and affordable it is. We've been coming here for years and it's always a pleasure. Their aguas frescas are so refreshing and delicious! The service is always so amazing. The cashier was super helpful and she was funny too. She helped us order the best drinks for today. I love the fact the bar is stocked with tons of toppings and great salsa. Go ham! Take your plate and don't be afraid to get it the tacos covered. When you order to go, the salsa is included. Their drinks are so good, my favorite is the fruit water, and the Coke bottles they have stocked in the fridge next to the desserts. For the places to sit, it's cozy, clean. This place is so legit. Found out about it on accident. Our friend recently moved nearby and he said he ate here 4 days in a row. I totally understand why....the tortas are so good. The bread is pillowy and soft with a delicious taste and the fillings are amazing. I've never really been into tortas and I've had them in California and Arizona. They were usually just okay. Here they are a delicious sandwich filled with tasty meats or vegetarian toppings. I've also had the burritos (asada, shredded pork, & chorizo), the chicken flautas, and the pastor tacos. All great. The rice and beans are also very tasty. All in all this is such a great spot. We come here whenever in this area of Mesa. Highly recommend. Service is fast, I like calling my order ahead for pickup. Most amazing sandwich I've ever put in my mouth. Bread is fluffy and light, the avocado slabs are perfectly proportioned and ripe, meat is smokey. Every time my Family and I eat from this place. We are Always pleased with the quality of the food. The flavor is unique and I noticed they baked their own bread. The usual pork, beef and chicken were shredded and spiced differently. Also good. This place is clean...floors, windows, chairs and all the counters. You can totally see all the cooking being done. Cooks looked professional in the matching shirts and the counter help was kind and helpful. They had a decent flow of customers which is always good. While I waited for my order (which was a few minutes, because the place was PACKED), a guy pulled a bunch of FRESH BREAD out of the oven. The food is very good but management needs to take this business to the next level. Waiting 30 minutes just to pay for a phone order is not acceptable. Have the option to pay over the phone and direct people to pick up. This will cut your queue in half. The gentleman in front of me waited the 30mins and when he made it to the front the cashier told him he was going to wait for 35 minutes to get his food. Needless to say he was very disappointed. Your business might be bringing a good amount of revenue but if this was a painless experience I am sure you could have 3 times that. I will wait 2-3 more months to come back enough time to crave a torta and forget this poor example of a successful business with managment with no vision.
