My husband and I drove 40 minutes to eat here based on the reviews--and were not disappointed! (Having recently moved to Scottsdale from LA, we know that good tacos are always worth the drive.) Owners Zulema and Daniel are a cut above. Not only is their restaurant attractive and clean (they purchased the business from previous owners just over a year ago), but the food is AMAZING. My husband had the burrito de alambre (asada, bacon, chorizo, beans and more!) but then also ordered the Arizona burrito to take home for lunch tomorrow. He then proceeded to eat half of it on the way home. I ordered five tacos, one of each: asada, chile verde (shredded beef), grilled chicken, al pastor, and carnitas. We shared a cup of horchata, which was yummy. Every meat was delicious, cooked to perfection. The three salsas offered were very flavorful as well. As we wrapped up our meal, Zulema and Daniel came out to check on us, and we ended up sitting and talking with them for a while (it was close to closing, and no other clients were there). We learned that they make everything from scratch--no reheating of frozen or premade anything, and you can tell by the flavor.
