Came here with friends for the Unbridled Burlesque show. The show was great! The dancers were amazing and I really enjoyed the show! I love the ambiance of the place, feels very high end and intimate. Perfect place for a date night or girls night. Major complaint is that the waitstaff cleared my drink and our apps before I was done drinking and eating -_- . This happened as soon as we asked our waiter for the check. Thought that was pretty bad service, as we were still snacking on the apps, and I still had probably a quarter of my drink left. Guess they were ready to get us out of there as quick as possible. Other than that, the food that we shared and the drinks were pretty good. On the pricey end but I guess it makes sense given how nice the place is and the location. I'd definitely recommend for the show but would advise to hold off asking for the check until your REALLY finished.

Best time to go is on Thursday for the burlesque show! The steak is amazing! I definitely recommend the seafood tower! The service was amazing! Drinks were delicious but not too strong. Food 20/10! No pictures bc this place you have to be there to see it! Be on time and they also have a private area. I've been here on dates with my husband. Other nights, outside of Thursday, it's live music which is fun too. For colors red, bold purples, and jeweled tones are highly recommended .

Such a beautiful space! We enjoyed dinner in their room called The Whiskey Library, and I was instantly captivated by the sexy Art Deco décor and inviting atmosphere. It truly won my heart. We opted for the tasting menu this evening an incredible way to sample nearly everything they offer. It features seven full courses, and trust me, you will leave very satisfied. The service was wonderful as well. Our hostess, Evy, was fantastic and made the experience even more enjoyable. There's so much happening throughout the different rooms - live music and even burlesque shows. The whole place gives off an elegant speakeasy vibe. A beautiful venue with outstanding food, exceptional service, and a uniquely immersive atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I love this spot for the shows, music, drinks and dancing. However I would skip dining. They tack on an entertainment fee and have extremely slow service with no apologies. Our skirt steak came out cold, and the staff kept trying to take our food while we were clearly still eating. We shared fries and Brussels to start which were both tasty. The kale ceasar was good and a nice big portion. Skirt steak was nothing special and cold.

I wish I could give a 5 to Fernando and a 2 to the other bartender. Overall this place has a great vibe and I was happy I found it. The bouncer out front was nice and when I asked 'is this a speakeasy or a strip club?' He asked 'what do you want it to be?' This cracked me up so I went in. No cover charge on a Saturday night. There was a burlesque show going on and live music later in the evening. I ordered the 'Hootch Harlot Manhattan'. Then the woman next to me offered to buy my drink due to a funny interaction at the bar. The one bartender couldn't figure out how to do this so I said to make me another Manhattan instead of not charging me for the first one. Well that one tasted terrible compared to Fernando's. So Fernando made me a correct one. Thanks, Fernando!

This is the one time where my review may not mean much, I'll have to update it whenever I come back here. We stopped in randomly looking for drinks and nice music but at the time, a burlesque type of show was on. This seems to be a place that would be good to plan before just stopping in unless you just want a nice place to drink. I'll definitely be planning a time to come back

We're burlesque fans and have been to shows in several places. The performers at Unbridled were enthusiastic, some talented, some not so much. The MC was fun and we enjoyed the show. They could do better with the programming so it builds. It was kind of haphazard. Our waitress, Crystal, was great. The main detractor is the Loud music!!! The music between sets is just way too load. Can't hold a conversation or hear yourself think. Bring earplugs and take them out for the show part. Yep, I'm old, but I still have my hearing in my 60s.

This place is big so I'm not sure it qualifies as a true speakeasy but it is so very cute. We heard a great singer, Mon'Aerie, and it was great. The music was loud but the vibe was great. We didn't eat.

Come for the vibes, not necessarily the menu. While drinks were classics with fun twists and speakeasy style names, the menu is over priced and limited. The ambience is stunning and worth stopping in for a post dinner drink or a fun girls night. Servers were kind but bar service was busy so book a table for more expedient service. If you're a whiskey/bourbon fan, they have an EXTENSIVE collection (and even a members club where you can store your own really adding to the speakeasy charm) and host a yearly ticketed tasting that looks incredible.

I love this venue. I have been two times. Once for a drag brunch and another time for DJ event. The event space is massive with several different rooms. Each room is distinctive with its own style. We enjoyed the bar room as it had sexy couches and furniture. This place is a gem and I wanna come back to try their happy hour. Additionally they food. For the brunch the food was delicious. At the bar we enjoyed some truffle fries but the menu looked decent. This venue is centrally located with plenty of meter parking. Additionally, there is a huge parking garage nearby.

I've visited this place several times and never disappointed with service. The performances are fantastic. The atmosphere is very amazing, intimate and inviting. There's a long set of stairs leading down to lower level oasis. Once you come down stairs.. wow, mysterious vibe Now I know it's called untitled supper club. There's no name is hood enough to capture essence. The drinks and food taste great. Unfortunately; they have limited options for one who appetizers. I'm not a fan of oysters. The drink menu are endless. I love coming here especially on Thursday and Friday nights

We had a unique, fun experience at Untitled Supper Club this past weekend. After dinner at another restaurant, we visited for drinks and to listen to music. Turns out entertainment was a swing band - prob not what my 20-something daughter and her boyfriend would typically choose - but we ended up having a great time! The restaurant is in the basement and has a cool, speakeasy vibe. Music was really good, and it was so much fun to see everyone (of all ages) having a fabulous time!

How different! This was a fun experience for our whole group. The service was adequate, not really a place to know your server because of the loud music and entertainment. The food was tasteful, I tried the calamari, Brussels sprouts, and crispy smashed potato which I enjoyed. The interior has fun wallpaper, intricate lighting, and comfy chairs. As a helpful tip to find the entrance doors, look for red doors next to CVS.

On Open Table there are multiple seating options for reservations. What seating option should I pick in order to see the live entertainment?

I recommend sitting in the main dining area located around the stage.

If I make a Drawing Room or Live Show dinner reservation for Thursday 8pm, do I need to make another reservation for 10pm if we want to stay for the Nightlife Experience to go dancing?

Jamed, You are welcome to stick around for late night. A formal reservation would not be needed unless you wanted to keep a table.

For burlesque entertainment, should I sit at a standard or high top table?

    Hi top!

Do you need reservations if you're only coming for drinks on a Friday night?

Generally yes, but we tried without one and were able to get a seat at the bar. I'd say if you're in the area, give it a shot!

Is the whiskey bar open seating? Does the Whiskey bar offer a food menu?

The Whiskey bar is generally open seating and the full dinner menu is offered as the bar

Do you have live music everyday? Do you offer anything for birthday

There is usually live music Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (and a burlesque/variety show on Thursdays)

Is there shows after 9? We'd like to come just for drinks

The shows vary in start times but generally extend past 9pm

How old do you have to be to enter?

    21.

    Do you have whiskey flights?

    Yes

How far in advance would you recommend making a reservation for a Saturday evening?

Hi Brian, we recommend making a reservation as soon as you know when you'd like to come in! It's hard to predict exactly how quickly nights fill up, the but sooner the better!

Which days there's burlesque show? Is it every Thursday?

    Yes, every Thursday, 9pm!

Are there any vegetarian options ? How big are the shared entrees?

Hi David! Yes there are definitely vegetarian options on the menu. You can view the full menu on our Yelp Profile page or at https://www.untitledsupperclub.com/menu. Our whole menu is designed to be shared and the sizes of dishes vary, even entrees.…

    What's required dress attire?

Suggested attire is business casual, though if you're going later at night more club wear is okay. I've gotten in wearing jeans and a nicer top. They state no t-shirts, shorts, sandals, or sneakers/gym shoes on their website.

I'm looking for a great spot to celebrate a birthday; what is a good night Friday , Saturday or Sunday.? Do you have live music on Fridays? Should we come here for drinks only or both drinks and drinks?

We are open Monday through Saturday, and have live music Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights and Unbridled, our Burlesque and Variety show on Thursday nights. We always recommend having “both drinks and drinks,” but we also have great chefs and a…

Are there valet parking? Are we able to utilize the valet parking service at mercadito? How much is their valet parking?

Hi David, because of our location we are not permitted to have valet out front, but you are more than welcome to utilize the valet parking directly across the street (north side of Kinzie) at Mercadito (108 W Kinzie St).

We made a reservation ahead of time, which I'd definitely recommend, but it wasn't overly packed and we were seated without any issues. The vibe in there is top tier. Dim lighting, live music energy, and just the right mix of chill and upscale. It's the kind of place where you can actually enjoy the atmosphere without feeling rushed. This was my second time here and I remember it being just as good back in 2022. The drinks were immaculate. I had two mocktails that were both well-balanced (not overly sweet, which I appreciate), and he ordered an old fashioned. You can tell they take their bar program seriously and can go beyond a gin & tonic. Overall, it was a really good time. It can give you a great midweek outing or a laid-back night with a little something.

People were standing right behind me to order drinks; I didn't feel overly crowded by any means but some who aren't used to that kind of bar/clubby vibe might feel that way. The music was a little loud to be heard over all the folks there, but I wasn't talking to anyone so it didn't bother me (was just sitting and reading a book). The bartender was really nice and attentive despite the fact that the place was so packed. I had a drink called the "Gentle Fish" which the bartender rec'd as a sweeter/more floral drink. Admittedly it was a little strong, but the flavor was nice! It was different from most other drinks I've had, and I enjoyed it. Was strong enough I definitely did not need another though. Of note, this place is downstairs under "The Hoxton" hotel, there's no entrance directly to the bar from the sidewalk/street (you have to enter the hotel lobby, then follow the signs toward the back and go down the elevator and/or stairs). There is a person who checks your ID when you enter and seats you if seats are available. The bathrooms were very clean. Not sure about parking but street parking is definitely very limited; I imagine a paid lot would probably be the easiest thing or taking the train from wherever you're staying if you can (which is what I did).

Imagine my shock when we didn't even make it past the bouncer because he was so rude, AS OTHER RECENT REVIEWS HAVE MENTIONED AS WELL! We had dinner nearby and walked to Bisous after, and saw there was a line of 5 or 6 people outside. We expected this as we knew Bisous is a first come, first serve bar. We were curious what the wait time would look like, so we approached the front door to ask a host or employee inside (we assumed there'd be a desk with an employee working it who could give us a wait time). We had no problem waiting, just wanted to see how long they estimated it would be! Before we could even fully open the door, the bouncer swung the door open from the other side and hit me with the door. I stumbled back a few steps and he looked at us and said, and I quote, "What do you want?". I laughed at first because I thought he was joking and putting on a tough guy act. He was not. We quickly explained we just wanted to see what the wait time was, and he said "don't you see there's a line outside?" We said yes, and explained we just wanted to know a rough estimated wait time. He just blankly stared at us while ushering us out. Both my boyfriend and I have worked in customer-service roles for a very, very long time. This encounter was not only extremely rude and unprofessional, but he also hit me hard enough with the door to send me stumbling back, and then said nothing about it and continued to address us in a tone that was nothing less than annoyed and irritated. We didn't end up going inside because that encounter left such a bad taste in our mouths. I don't believe in spending my money at establishments that don't treat their customers with the bare minimum respect they deserve! Bummed we didn't get to experience it, as I'm sure it was lovely inside and I can only hope the rest of the employees were much more kind and accommodating, or at least able to answer a simple question. Fire your "bouncer" (??) and hire someone with some basic customer service and communication skills!!

It's definitely a great date spot! I took off a star because it's pricey -- I got the "milk punch" on their classic cocktail menu which was $25 and is pretty small, but it's a nice drink and tasted very much like a milk punch drink I got at a speakeasy back home (in Austin, TX). The bartenders were super nice and provided excellent service, no complaints there! The bathrooms were also immaculate. Overall, this is a very nice speakeasy! I've been to many in my day and the ambiance is definitely on par with the best, but I gotta say some other unique ingredients (ideally more floral options!) would really take their menu up a notch! I'll start out by saying that the time in the Aviary was the best cocktail experience we have ever had. Not saying the best cocktails (even though they were very good), but the best experience as far as interesting presentations and overall service combined with good cocktails that when you were drinking them did not feel gimmicky at all, but that everything had a purpose. My wife did the 3 drink progression and ordered The Partridge, The 3 Martini Lunch, and the non-alcoholic version of the Kyoto Plum. I got three cocktails, but because I opted for one on their barrel aged part of the menu, my progression was basically a la carte, not the 3 drink $75 price. We also opted for one small bite of food - The Truffle explosion. My drinks were the Cereal Killer, the In The Rocks, and the Blood and Sand. As far as favorites went Joy's Partridge was basically a Mint Julep with some warming spices, but the presentation was great. Almost every table got that drink so it must be well received. My favorite was the Blood and Sand that was just a really well balanced cocktail. I think that part of the menu does not get the elaborate presentations. We both also enjoyed sharing the 3 martini lunch which was a small version of a Vesper, a Gibson, and a dirty Martini. Two things about this drink, we like our martinis with gin rather than vodka (obviously a Vesper has both), but their rules are that there are no changes to their menus, so both the gibson and the dirty martini were vodka based. The Gibson and the Vesper were our favorites of the three as the dirty martini was too dirty. There was even more olive brine if we wanted it dirtier. Bottom line, top notch experience, great friendly service, and the atmosphere was awesome watching the room being served some of the drinks we had, and ones that we did not order. The Truffle Explosion was also a very good bite, basically a truffle/parmesan infused soup dumpling that exploded in your mouth and helped out with a little food in our belly while having all that alcohol at the same time. The only disappointing cocktail was the Kyoto Plum mocktail, interesting presentation, but tasted just like grape juice - no real character. A hostess from Next came and got us and took us to our table in Next for the 1987 Manhattan meal. Thanks for a great experience Aviary!!

We made a reservation for their three course cocktail experience for four of us which required a deposit of $75 per person. Only one of us ended up doing the experience (the rest of us were too full and already tipsy from dinner) but it was nonetheless, a very cool experience. Service was top notch. My partner has admired this place for a long time, as a bartender himself, and he has even learned a thing or two from their Bible-like cookbooks. So when the maitre d offered to allow him to step into the kitchen and help finish one of their cocktails, he was absolutely giddy. This was such a memorable and special touch for us during our visit to Chicago. I loved seeing how the kitchen worked together in a traditional kitchen line but only focusing on cocktails. It was an impressive thing to see. Many of the cocktails are presented in an incredibly theatrical way featuring interesting glassware, dry ice, and even a plastic bag filled with flavored air. I actually wasn't a big fan of the cocktail I ordered (it leaned too heavy into the BBQ flavor for my taste) but I enjoyed trying everyone else's cocktails at the table. I would definitely recommend checking out The Aviary if you are a cocktail enthusiast hoping to try something you can't get anywhere else. It truly is a fine dining experience with mixology at the forefront.

We decided to dine at the bar so we could take advantage of the everyday happy hour and use our InKind app. The espresso martini was a HIT. Our favorites were the chips and dips, cheeseburger, chicken taco pita, truffle fries, and oysters. The wings were just okay and I did not love the herb aioli. Our bartender server, I believe her name was Delia, sorry if I spelled it wrong, was super nice. She got slammed but still gave great service the whole time. The ambience is gorgeous and the music really set the vibe. Would definitely come back!

Even the area they kept water for easy access was well thought out. I started with a dozen oysters and ended with the wagyu smash burger, as it was a must order. The oysters are $1 during happy hour, which is 4pm - 6pm everyday. The oysters were fresh and the perfect size, not too big or too small. It came with two sauces, lemons, and mini Tabascos. The wagyu smash burger was pretty good and filling. I'm not the biggest fan of burgers but this one is definitely worth trying! My waiter was attentive and chill. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and can't wait to come back!
