Sorry, but I agree with most negative comments. Bad orientation, the staff wasn't all that helpful, and burned my coil when assembling. The atmosphere isn't that pleasant either. I've been coming to this place for years, have a rewards account & talk to the employees every time i'm there. They're always in stock of what I need so that's nice, however there's a woman that works there now & every time I've been recently she's been so rude for no reason. Let me just start with, this isn't my first horrible experience at this shop. The most recent was last week when I purchased a water pipe and upon filling it with water it ended up leaking and I discovered a hairline crack on the bottom. I called and they told me I had to come back and they maybe would give me a replacement since I discovered the crack an hour after I purchased the water pipe. I then went back and I luckily received a replacement of the same exact one. Fast forward toward to 3 days later... I go to pick up the water pip e by the stem and it comes clean off leaving the base on the floor and the stem in my hand with no sign of cracks where it came off which means the stem was merely glued on with cheap glue onto the base. I spent 100$ + for this water pipe and within a week, two of them fell apart. Cheap horrible quality never by products from here. read more

Definentely feel robbed. Bought a Kilogram of Kratom and as soon as I opened it I knew something was off, the powder did not look right, and even drinking it I felt absolutely nothing! I also feel like the guy selling to me was very rude because he was talking about how strange the other customers were and I thought that was very unprofessional of him to do. Overall it was bad experience; I felt rushed and I didn't even get what I wanted $120 down the drain. read more

Buyer Beware: Visited Up In Smoke on Saturday 9/15/18 and spoke with Danielle. She was nice and personable, but unfortunately, she does not know the products. I explained that we have previously owned a PAX 3 and lost it. We were looking for a replacement. Danielle offered the PAX 2, she said that it is exactly the same as PAX 3 but cheaper because it does not allow you to vape extracts. Since I only use dry tobacco to vape so it should work perfectly. Took it home, loaded it up and started using it. I quickly realized that the PAX 2 and PAX 3 have many more differenced than I was led to believe. Simple mix up by a salesperson... So, I called on Sunday to explain that the PAX 2 is also missing several other features - Taptic feedback, faster heating, and improved battery. The biggest one for me, however, is App support. Had I knows that the 2 does not have app support I would have certainly gone for the 3. I was told that she would check with WIll the manager because normally "All sales are final", but based on what I explained, they called him for me. I quickly got a call back telling me to bad ... be careful if you visit this shop and do your homework. The sales reps cannot be trusted and management cannot be trusted to do the right thing when their folks make a mistake. read more

If it wasn't for the selection and proximity to where I lived I would never come back here. It feels like everyone is following you and the staff is extremely rude. The employees at this location are terrible. Mostly clueless and pissed off. They sold me a broken coil and I went back for a replacement like literally 2 minutes after i bought it and found out it was broken. They start huffing and puffing explaining to me how i dont know how to use my own e cig and just being rude as hell. They didnt end up giving me a replacement (much less a refund) saying that it was my fault their product didnt work. read more

I found a spray by special blue that was an odor eliminator that I thought was amazing here. After going a few times, the sprays moved location and had two different prices. When I asked the employee (the asian man with the long hair and facial hair) called his manager and told me it was the higher price. When I told him that they had been selling them at a lower and that he wouldn't have even know if I had not told him he gave me an irritated repetition that it was the higher price. I left angry and frustrated. I came back about a month later and when I did the sprays moved again and there were only two and they had upped the price again to about $12 from the initial like $3. One of the bottles they were selling didn't even have a lid and with a spray that is an aerosol type where you just have to hope it hasn't been used, a bottle without a cap where it can spray easily is a little sketch. When I tried to ask the guy at the front if they had anymore he said that was all they had very firmly. I tried asking him another question and two people came in and he became more concerned with checking their IDs and then proceeded to ask them if they needed help when I had just asked him a question prior. He should have had them wait a second. I was aggravated being ignored and left since the sprays were overpriced. I later went to Marley's and told the guys there. They told me legally that the guys had to sell me those sprays at the lower price as they were marketed at that price and legally they had to sell it at that lower price. I asked if they could order the spray and they said of course and even asked me what flavors I wanted and held those aside specially for me. For anyone in the UCF area I would definitely say Marley's as a better option. They may not have things like jumbo lighters, but they have better staff who are kinder and have way better prices. I just bought a smoke buddy and the special blue spray for a friend as a gift and with my student discount got a regular smoke buddy, the great spray, and the guy working was super nice and remembered me too, up in smoke could never. read more

I love this shop! Right across from UCF (although they do not offer student discounts) and they have a huge selection! I really like that their shisha is located so you can grab it to look at it & not inconvenience the person behind the counter. They really have everything you could want in a smoke shop & a very large selection. If you go there, I definitely recommend speaking to Harrison! He is super knowledgeable, helpful & able to connect you with what you're looking for. All of his suggestions when I did not know what I was looking for were great too! The other people there have not been as friendly/helpful although no complaints. Harrison was the first one I encountered & made a great impression! Definitely recommend! read more

I come here a few times a week & everyone is always welcoming and friendly. A few months back I bought a quartz banger from there and the guy who sold it to me told me there was a lifetime warranty through Borobook. Well, things happen and the banger broke. First, I called Up In Smoke and they told me to contact Borobook so I did. When I contacted Boro, they were very rude and shut me down completely because "Up In Smoke no longer sells our products, have a good one." My first reaction was to go into the store and Will helped me out for the inconvenience with Borobook. Highly recommend going here I've never had a bad experience!! read more

if I could give this place no (or negative) stars, I most certainly would. I walked in and the indian man behind the counter was arguing with a lady at the register over prices and what was marked/ what he was asking for, for whatever piece or part they were looking at while I waited patiently as I've already been waiting for weeks to get a new bowl and some papers and finalllllly had some free time! the lady ended up walking out without purchasing anything due to the man asking more than apparently originally agreed on from what I could tell. I then went up and presented the clerk with my ID to which he denied me! how very sweet, a completely a totally find picture of myself just wouldn't do for this man. I understand I look young (I always have and most likely always will and that's perfectly fine) however that's no excuse to blatantly refuse service to someone who is of age. i've never had an issue with my ID before as it's a legal and valid ID but I suppose this man just really, realllllly wants to know what bankruptcy entails and I'm sure he will find out soon enough if he continues running his business as such. I have no issue taking my money elsewhere, which I did; I enjoyed a nice beer rather than the bowl I was originally planning on enjoying after a long day of work and life. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. I have given this place many chances and still am disappointed. I bought an e-pen from here and it broke. I bought a different one that was not properly working and was told 'I can't take it back just because you don't like it.' The same day my newly bought product broke. I came back in and one employee "tried it" and said it was my cartridge. I tried a brand new one and came back in and had to wait an entire hour for the manager to look at it. He tried to make excuses even though the product was clearly broken. I feel very disrespected because it took an hour for them to try several of their cartridges and it still would not work. They gave me a different brand with no receipt so when it breaks I will just have to try a new smokeshop. The only reason I received a replacement was because ONE employee went out of his way to be very helpful. All other employees were EXTREMELY rude. I will never give them another cent. read more
