This is one of those small jewels of a business that does excellent work. I called to see if I could get a bouquet made in the morning that I could pick up by 3pm that day. They checked and said "sure". When I arrived, I noted that it is a very modest shop with minimal displays. I was bowled over when they brought my order. It was just as I saw on line and very beautiful in person! The bouquet was for my daughter who graduated from a medical fellowship. She was also bowled over by the beautiful arrangement. They have the worst customer service. I spoke to them about trying to get arrangements for my daughter's first birthday. The person on the phone was not only rude and argumentive but was insulting by saying that they're only high-end and don't accommodate using carnations. She spoke to me with a tone that it was beneath them to use that type of flower. However, I've had several arrangements created by them using carnations. I asked for different options to see what would be more accessible, and each time, the florist came up with various excuses. The way she spoke to me came off like she didn't want to do it because it would be for the weekend or too much work. She acted like it was a hassle to ask her questions. I've never had a bad experience at this location. I've been coming to them for five years now for Valentine's Day, Easter, & Mother's Day because I loved the work they did for me. I think they've changed workers. This person was not only insulting but wouldn't listen and talked over me every time I brought up a suggestion. I've never been insulted or spoken to like this as a customer. They've lost a customer in me, and if they don't coach their florist on customer service, they will lose more. read more

My husband order flowers for me and they died the next day. He then called the shop to let them know only to find the owner unapologetic and rude. She said for me to take them back and they would replace the dead flowers. When you pay for a delivery service it's because you don't want to pick things up yourself ! So then I called only to get the same rude and unconcerned owner to say "when you buy something at target and don't like it you take it back, right?" . What ?? I would prefer if "Yelp" offered a zero rating; as I am very disappointed with the outcome of the floral arrangement delivered to my family member who lost their mother. So extremely disappointed in this florist shop and with Sheryl in particular. 4/6 - I received a beautiful birthday bouquet from my brother and his family who live out of state. He placed an online ordered with Upland Flower Bouquet, requesting an AM delivery time and checked the box that ask if they could leave the flowers at the door......Then he realized I would not be home in the AM, so he personally called to request an Afternoon delivery time, the women he spoke to confirmed the change and the conversation ended.... The flowers were delivered outside my door around 2:45pm, I was sent a confirmation picture (included), I arrived home around 6pm and brought the bouquet inside...While some of the flowers looked distressed due to being outside in hot 95 degree weather for 3 1/2 hours, I was confident that the cool inside air would help them rebound. 4/7 - Unfortunately, I awoke to a couple dead and more distressed flowers.....So I called the florist around 10:30am and spoke with Sheryl. Sheryl explained to me that because they were left out in the heat for so long, at my brothers request, that this might be why they look so distressed, but if I brought them back to her shop, she would be more than happy to take a look at them...So I immediately drove to her shop, Sheryl looked at the bouquet, saw the condition and started replacing 8 of the 12 roses, while explaining to me that because they were left outside in the heat for 3 1/2 hours, at my brother's ok and that they also appeared like they might have been hot overnight,(not the case, in my A/C house overnight) could be a reason why they were stressed some to the point of having brittle, curled edges . While explaining she pulled 8 Fuchsia roses, like the 4 she left in the original bouquet , but when I looked in the flower case I saw these Yellow with Red tipped roses that mean something special to my brother and myself, So I ask if I could have those instead, Sheryl said yes and proceeded to refresh my original arrangement adding 8 new flowers. I thanked her and came back home with a dozen roses (picture Included)..... 4/8, Woke up and they looked good, but by 4pm, they started looking distressed (pic included) so I pulled 2 flowers from the arrangement, was slightly annoyed that 2 flowers didn't last a day again, but still had 10 and didn't want to complain again about 2 flowers..... 4/9 Woke up to almost all 8 replacement flowers either dead or dying, EXCEPT the 4 Original roses that were never replaced looked good, I can't believe it, 3 days later, not even a full 72 hours and only the original 4 fuchsia roses have lasted! (Pic Included), So I called Sheryl back (9:20am), explain that I'm really not happy with the flowers because 3 days after receiving 12 roses, I'm down to 7, and 2 of those won't make it to tonight, so really in 3 days I went from 12 Roses to 4 roses, but 16 have died? And those 2 sets of 8 flowered didn't make it 24 hours.... Then Sheryl proceeded to defend the bad flowers, stating that they're fresh and they don't look as good after a week, I corrected her, it's only been 3 days... Really 2 days for this last batch of 8 replacements and 1 day for the original 8. So obviously it's a bad product, she took offense to that, we went back-and-forth, she said she feels like I want her to give me another 12 roses... I told her YES.....Good customer service would just say at this point " let me make it right, when I get my next shipment in, I will make you an arrangement and send it to you. I apologize your birthday gift didn't meet your expectation or mine (no florist should be ok with their flowers dying after 1-2 days). read more

It was very disappointing to receive the response that we received from one particular lady at Upland flower boutique on Euclid this morning......My fiancé bought a beautiful arrangement Tuesday, 2/13, and has purchased there before and never had a problem, (cash, and credit ) one time the owner actually delivered gorgeous flowers to my door. This particular lady thought I was yelling at her, this morning, when, in fact, I was trying to hear her over background noise. I was trying to explain that the flowers were dead in four days and my fiancé spent a lot of money there. ( we absolutely do know how to take care of bouquets and flowers ) Her first comment was to stop yelling at her. Then she hung up on me. I did call back and told her I was not yelling I was just trying to explain How quickly the flowers died. She rarely gave us a chance to even speak, She offered to replace the dead ones, (which would've been basically the entire bouquet ) but we have no interest in that. not to mention.how Totally shocked at her attitude . (at times I speak a bit louder due to a hearing problem). We are Very disappointed customers to say the least, and will never recommend that florist again to anyone, including friends or family.
