Food is good. Do not order early for delayed pickup. They will not ensure they have your food at time of pickup even if just a few hours later. They also do not tell you that at the time of taking your order. Prices are high as well. read more

Very rude cashier. The cashier threw my ranch sauce across the counter and was abrupt during the whole process. When I addressed this with the cashier, the person was indifferent and not helpful. The delivery driver attempted to argue and stop my concerns with the cashier. Is this consistent with the customer service policy for the Upper Crust..? Excellent Pizza . This being my first trip I bought the Hawaiian thin and square, the Sicilian 1/2 sheet and JoJos. I can say that this place and BJ Brew house at summit mall are the best places in Akron to get a pizza pie ! This place does not disappoint and it has the pizza trophy's to back their claim ! I did my homework on upper crust and thought my family should give it a try. I heard the higher prices made for better ingredients equaling better pizza. Not really. The pizza is ok but forgettable. Save money money and order Dewey's or Antonio's. read more

Upper Crust has some of the best chicken and fries I have ever had. You can tell the chicken is fresh. The Southwest Fries have a seasoning on them that is incredible. I've never had the pizza, but you can't beat the chicken and fries. Nice location in Highland Square too. You can earn rewards in the Toast app too. read more

I have gone to Upper Crust several times in Akron. I thought they had a good product at first but feel they have since gone downhill. Their staff can be rude and unknowledgeable. I recently had the $10 Nashville hot chicken sandwich which looked absolutely delicious like the pictures. What do I bite into? I get a mouthfull of chicken thighs and other strange parts smashed together. Don't even think about posting your true opinions on their FB page. They will delete any negative posts. I also think it is pretty odd that the credit card I used there was compromised a few hours later. NEVER AGAIN will they get my business! There are a lot of other great places to spend your hard earned money at. read more

I tried Upper Crust for the first time today. I ordered two pizzas and paid 44 dollars total. That might sound like a lot, but the pricier of the two pizzas (The Upper Crust) is a huge stuffed pizza. So, for 44 bucks, I have 3 full meals. The service was fine, a standard experience. The signature Upper Crust pizza tasted good. It wasn't mind-blowing or anything, but everything tasted fresh and the spicy garlic sauce actually does have a kick to it. I like how they didn't add too much of the balsamic glaze. The chicken and steak in the pizza were pretty tender. The other pizza I ordered was a standard pepperoni pan pizza. I was impressed. I ordered the premium char cup pepperoni, and I think it was worth it. I've read reviews saying the sauce is cheap tasting or that it's like tomato paste. Anybody saying these things is lying. The sauce was definitely high quality and not pasty at all. It was orangish in color and almost had a vodka sauce quality to it. Overall, this isn't the absolute best pizza I've ever had, but it is high quality for sure and is worth checking out. read more

This place is horrible. The food is fine but they continually screw up orders and miscalculate pickup and delivery times. Most recently, I ordered online and the online system does not allow you to build your own pizza so I had to order one of their specialty pizzas. I ordered at 5:40 for 6:15 pickup time. Got a text at 6:00 saying food was coming out of the oven. I arrived at 6:10 and was told the order was scheduled for 6:37. I couldn't wait and asked for delivery 1/2 mile away and they accommodated with a 3.75 charge. How nice of them after I showed them the text and the email. The fact is, this place ain't cheap!! Worst customer service ever. I was a regular customer but I'll never order from them again. I paid for a pizza and it never came. Then the next day I called and the person on the phone said she'd talk to the manager and he'd call me back. Three hours later I called again and finally got on the phone with the manager and he said he was too busy to get me a refund or a new pizza at the moment and then he hung up on me. He said he would call me back and never did. Fixing a mistake like this should be top priority but instead it was never fixed. I wish I could give them zero stars but that's not an option. It's fine though, their pizza is way overpriced anyway. read more
