They had a special wine list for the event. I love sparkling wines & the Cava from Spain was fantastic! Sitting at the bar the Joui team took care of everyone so efficiently. I also enjoyed a glass of Champagne & finished off with an Aperol Spritz. Their wines to go selection is great & I picked up one of my favorite natural wines Meinklang from Austria to take home to enjoy. I can't wait to visit again soon.

We were there again just last weekend and were a little worried it might be cold since it's in a barn, but it was surprisingly warm and cozy with the heaters going. It was actually really comfortable. This place is fantastic year-round--winter or summer, you really can't go wrong. If you visit, make sure to try the elderberry wine. The buffet was fantastic, their baked potatoes were amazing! And they had live music from a country group Hearts on Fire. We had an absolute ball. Reservations are taken between 5:00-7:30 pm. Let them know if the size of your party changes because they prepare food fresh based on the reservation size. (They also offer private dinners outside of the normal cookout hours if you want a private event) They also have food you can order from the kitchen like cheese boards, Bavarian pretzels, chips and salsa, nachos and cheese, Caprese Platter, Valley Potato Chicken Boats and more! I will be making time in my schedule to go back. We ordered the small cheeseboard and added charcuterie. It contained their 3 main cheeses as well as small bits of fruit, nuts, and other goodies that were located with the cheeses that they would complement. We asked what type of meats came with the "charcuterie" option and we were told "whatever is on the slicer right now" but that they were all locally made- or at least regionally made. That works for me and both selections were delicious. We also bought the special chocolate chip/cheese cookies they had for the event and they were fantastic. What I really want to talk about is the cheese curds though. We bought some to take home (you can buy everything they use on the boards in their retail area too by the way). They're so flavorful and fresh. I'm going to make poutine with those and some fries from Heyday down the street and I expect great things.
