Was great for a few weeks, but then no showed a session, when asked about it she manufactured a story about 'coming through the backyard' which is why I wouldn't see her on my front door camera. Once caught in the lie, she back peddled and claimed to just be overwhelmed. Told me she'd be giving me a refund for the sessions she no showed and those I'd paid for in advance. Started seeing massive delays in her response time, got a bunch of sob stories as to all the things going on in her life explaining why she couldn't pay me back, got the inkling that I was going to get ripped off, and only after saying I'd be escalating and insisting upon at least a payback plan did she attempt to make things right. Got 2 small installments back via Venmo, and then big surprise! Nothing. Followed up in text messages. Followed up on FB. Such a shame. I will still be escalating because hey- you shouldn't rip people off. It's just that simple.

I can't imagine how we would have managed juggling our cat and our travel schedule all these years without her. Our guy, Tank, has spent many nights happily ensconced at The Cat's Pajamas where he enjoys spying on the comings and goings from the privacy of his own condo. Yes, we could leave him at home with a cat sitter popping by once or twice daily, but our dude is very social and gets lonely easily. Plus, he is a bit high-maintenance and Patty doesn't bat an eye at his extreme neediness. (LOL) Bottom line: Patty is a total pro. She is caring, considerate, and communicative. She keeps a close eye on her charges and intuits exactly what they need. I just can't say enough good things about her. Their "condos" have levels for them to explore, each with their own box, and privacy curtains for cats who need more time to adjust to the space. Patty sends an email the day after drop off and throughout their stay to let you know how your cat is adjusting and eating. We all know how hard it can be to have to leave your cat and take them out of the comfort of their home. Knowing how well cared for they are with Patty makes doing so much easier. Gets tired. And is happy to see me at the end of the day. The facility is very clean and stimulating for the dogs. My dog has not gotten kennel cough here. She has at other daycares. That's how clean she is. She's honest and pretty fair. I wish the hours were a touch longer. I also wish there was a kennel option for late nights when I can't get there to pick up the dog or when we go on vacation. Otherwise, I'm pretty satisfied.

This is my first puppy, and she taught me how to be a good dog parent as much as she taught my pup. We first had a terrible experience with a trainer who used punishment techniques and pinch collars. Then we found Stephanie who showed us how to train our dog by positively reinforcing good behaviors rather than punishing bad ones.
