Package was sitting in California for days. Finally gets to CACH on Dec 23 where the tracking information said it would be delivered on the 23rd. Being a former employee. I knew there was no way that was happening as this facility has no package cars. My package was delayed in Las Vegas. Missed a truck leaving at 10:00 PM even though the package was there 6 hrs earlier. Arrived in Hodgking IL 3 days later at 6:51AM and (apparently) just got on a truck (9 hrs later), and it will not be delivered in the next 4 days. Called UPS and connected to a representative in SC who could not give me an update from Hodgking until the next. I suggested to call, but it seems that it takes a day to find the phone number for a UPS site from another UPS site (really?). In the era of AI, UPS doesn't even know how to use the telephone or how to google a number. With almost all 1 star across all reviews, UPS should ask the question of whether they should do something about this hub or their company as a whole. read more

If I could do a negative zero ratingT would! They hold packages for over a week regardless of when we are told when it will arrive. I ordered an Xmas gift and was told it would be here by 12/23/25 and then it updated after shipping to 12/30/25! It is currently sitting in this facility in Hodgkins, IL (an hour and half from me) and will not be delivered until after Xmas! Though I just received 2 other packages from there with no issues!!! You are not allowed to pick it up either and customer service is in India!! They are useless!!! This is the worst place ever!! Really crappy when a retailer has to take the fall for UPS. Packages has been sitting at this hub with UPS for 3 days with no movement. The retailer sent an email apology today. Every business has challenges but this is not the first time and I'm not the first to express the frustration. No weather issues here in the Midwest or really anywhere for that matter for the last week. This time of year they need to get it together. People pay big money to send items, so yes there is an expectation that UPS will fulfill their end of the transaction as promised. read more

This is the second shipment of the same item that is stalled at the Hodgkins IL location. The second is the replacement that got "lost" at this location. After waiting more than two weeks for a response on a claim they finally answered "item could not be found, contact your shipper for details" Shipper had no idea what they were talking about. After many discussions, days, and frustration UPS did credit the sender and they sent a replacement. Which is now stalled at the Hodgkins IL location once again. UPS says I can't file a claim because it is too early. Which I think is BS. It has been sitting there for more than 36 hours. The weather is beautiful for this time of year. No rain and no snow and 40 at this location since the item got to the Hodgkins location. Catch the person lifting items and fire them. Not able to leave no stars, so I had to give one. I learned today that UPS CACH Is actually not responsable for all my delivery stress on Oct 18. Bedford Park is actually the culprit, however, it seems best to continue this saga here. This is an update of yesterday's update. I felt really good after talking to Esther of UPS Corp Office - - she was very nice and seemed truly interested in my concerns. Then a downer, Daphne from local UPS calls, sounding annoyed that she had to call me. THEN, I get a knock on my door @6 pm and it's a delivery of a beautiful floral bouquet from Esther at the UPS Corp Office with a note thanking me for allowing her to address my concerns. My faith in UPS is beginning to be restored. I called Esther today to thank her for the flowers and also to tell her about my less than delightful call with Daphne.. Esther is a woman of action. Shortly afterward, I received a call from John. This is when I learned that Bedford Park is where John, Daphne and the UPS driver that set this all in motion worked. Now John is a class act. He is very professional. He understood my concerns and truly seemed like he will do what he can to improve things. Esther, UPS Corp Office is 5 Stars John, UPS Bedford Park is 5 stars Right now, however, the most I can give UPS overall is 3 Stars read more

UPS has made it extremely difficult to access a human and when that happens (it takes 20 mins or so), you are halfway around the world. I have had three very bad and costly experiences with them in just the last 90 days. And this is on 12 deliveries. Three failures of 12 efforts is not the sign of a well-run shop. Worse, accessing customer service and getting them to act on your best behalf is deplorablee. You have options. I suggest you spare your self this pain. read more

They only want to drive their 'normal' long haul overnight times, instead of driving during the day when the rioting and looting is not happening. Hodgkins Illinois UPS is where my package is stuck (it arrived there on 8/27/2020)! They said (with my tracking number) that it was supposed to be delivered on 8/28/2020, I waited and waited, NOTHING. The next day I looked with my tracking number and it says please check back later. It is now 8/21/2020, there are NO updates, it still says check back later and it still shows it sitting in Hodgkins Illinois UPS!
